Well, we want to say shalom and welcome everyone to the Bible classes of the Holy Scriptures in Israel, where we study the Word of God from a Hebrew messianic perspective, from first century perspective, which helps us to understand the things that happen in times of old and it helps us to glean from the Word of God and especially for those of us who are here who are maybe listening to our messages who are Jewish people who do not know yet the Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah. Our heart desire is to explain the message of the Gospel that will be helpful for both Jews and non-Jews alike.

We will pray now. We are going to study Romans chapter 8 in this meeting today. So we will ask the Lord to bless the meeting and we will read from Romans chapter 8. Hopefully you have your Bibles open to Romans chapter 8. And so Abba, our Father, we ask your blessing upon your word today. For we ask it in Jesus, in Yeshua's name. Amen. Amen. And dear brothers and sisters to Roman chapter 8 and verse 9. We have covered in our previous meetings the first eight verses of Roman chapter 8, and I would like to continue on with verse 9 to verse 17 today, which is really part of the same thought that Apostle Shaul Paul wants to present with the Roman believers the fact that the believer in the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, has freedom from being defeated here in this world.

So I'm reading from verse 9. Paul is saying, he says, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead. Quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are dettors not to the flesh to live after the flesh, for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die. But if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, Verse 14 tells us, children of God and if children then heirs heirs of God the joint heirs with Christ if so be that we suffer with him that we may be also glorified together and I'm stopping here dear brothers and sisters in verse 17 simply because verse 17 is a really connected with the previous verses that are before there's a break here and then verse 18 onward is an additional aspect of the Apostle Paul's desire to help the believers at Rome to understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit of God in their lives now as I do so almost all the time I would like to remind us that we in the.

The book of Roman is the righteousness of God the righteousness of God that we received by virtue of the fact that we have accepted the Lord Jesus the Lord Yeshua the Messiah we have accepted him as our Lord and Savior and God's righteousness has been attributed to us because of him because of the Lord Jesus the Messiah's work on the cross we have received the righteousness of God to remind us that the word tzedakah righteousness in Hebrew the word tzedakah in the Greek is mentioned in the book of Romans some 30 times in the book of Romans and in fact in the whole word of God from Genesis 15 6 to Revelation 19 11 the word righteousness mentioned over 300 times the Hebrew word tzedakah mentioned the first time is in.

In Genesis 15 and verse 6, Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. The second thing that I want to mention and remind us all that the book of Roman is not only that the theme is the righteousness of God, but also the book of Roman is divided into these five sections that we have been repeating this many, many times. And you remember the five sections that began with the letter S? Sin, salvation, sanctification, sovereignty, and service. You remember that? Sin, salvation, sanctification, sovereignty, and service. Five S's that the whole book of Romans is divided over. Sin, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 1.1 to Romans 3.20. Salvation, we have peace with God. From Roman 3 verse 21 to chapter 5 and verse 21. Thirdly, sanctification to be set apart of the believer is found in Roman chapter 6 verse 1 to chapter 8 and at the end of the chapter verse 39. And of course the sovereignty of God in relationship to his earthly people of Israel is found in Roman chapter 9 verse 1 to Romans 11 and verse 36. And the last section, the last portion of the book of Romans is Romans chapter 12 verse 1 to 16 and verse 27 is the fifth letter S, service of the saints of God to serve the Lord as redeemed people here in this world. It is always important for us to remember these divisions of the book of sanctification, sovereignty, and service.

Five divisions in the book of Romans. But we find ourselves, beloved brothers and sisters, in the third section of the book of Romans, the section that deals with the sanctification of the believer. In other words, the fact that we are positionally set apart, sanctified. Of the book of Roman we have been justified once and for all and we have we are sanctified once and for all positionally when we have accepted the Lord Jesus the Messiah but in Romans chapter 6 7 and 8 beloved brothers and sisters this is where we are in this section the believer is called to live a sanctified life a life that is practically now set part for the Lord and because we have these two natures the flesh lusts against the Spirit Galatians chapter 5 and the Spirit against the flesh the believer is called to walk in the Spirit in the power of the Spirit of God and not in the power of the flesh and the flesh is really the old nature the when we were born to our parents who were born to their parents who were born to their parents and ultimately born to Adam and Eve who have sinned and plunged the whole human race into sin that's why we are called sinners but because we have accepted the finished work of the Lord Yeshua Jesus the Messiah.

The Scripture called us saints or set apart people, people that are justified, set apart, belong to God. And now we are called to live a godly life here in this world. To remind you that as far as God is concerned, positionally we are suitable to be in heaven We are suitable for heaven already positionally. But God left us here. He left us here to live our lives here. And it is here that we are going through challenges here in this world because we have these two opposing natures. The old nature wants to do his own will. The new nature wants to please God. The old man seeks his own way.

God and there is a battle that is going on day by day and here in Romans chapter 6 7 and 8 the apostle is emphasized the need to walk in accordance with the will of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit of God and so if you remember in give them permission to live a sinful life. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Paul said in Romans chapter 6, God forbid. We need to live a godly life. That was the apostle Paul teaching the Roman believers. Then in Romans chapter 7 we have learned that a believer cannot live a holy life by keeping laws or even the law or any man-made law.

Why? Because the law condemns us. The law is holy, but we are sinful. The law is perfect, but we are not. And because the law demands, the law is holy and righteous and undefiled and pure, and we by nature are sinful, we cannot attain that which God requires. Israel his people earthly when he gave Israel the law and from all humanity. Because after all, we have learned that what the law cannot do for us, the law cannot save us because the law is holy and demands justice. But we are sinners. Secondly, we have learned that the law cannot do what he cannot do with us.

The law cannot sanctify us because we still here have this sinful nature here. We have also learned what the law cannot do to us, that the law cannot condemn us now because we are now in Christ, in the Mashiach, and we are dead to the law when we have accepted the Messiah. Fourthly, we have learned that what the law cannot do for us, the law cannot convict us of sin because believers still have the old nature in us. Show us that we we are sinners and the law revealed to us the fact that we are sinners so the law can do for us is can show us convict us that we are sinners and therefore we need someone else to help us and number five we have learned that the Lord cannot do in us what it cannot do in us he cannot deliver us from sin because the law reveal our sin law can do by us the law can be fulfilled in us because it is done through the person and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit of God and that's how we turn to Roman chapter 8 and we have already covered the first eight verses of Romans chapter 8 and so if you remember beloved brothers and sisters a Roman chapter 8 is emphasizing the fact.

That all true believers have freedom. Notice that we have freedom from judgment. Romans 8 verses 1 to 4, freedom from condemnation. We also, in verses 5 onward, and we have already covered that, verses 5 to 17, we have covered the first verses, verses 5 to 8, but in verses 5 to 8, we have now freedom. From defeat we don't have to live a defeated life you know just to pause here for a moment sadly many times believers christian true born again believers are living a defeated life why and you and i can we are not different than others we are living a defeated life when we allowed or when we allows the old nature, our own self-will, to have its own way, its own course.

And we can live a victorious life when we allow the Holy Spirit of God, when we yield to the Spirit of God and allow the Spirit of God to lead us. And that's what the Apostle Paul We have no obligation to live after the flesh and we don't have to be defeated. We can live a victorious life, but we only need to allow the Spirit of God to work it out in our life. And that is the portion for us today. So verses 5 to 17 really is divided into three sections. In verses 5 6 7 and 8 which we have covered in our previous meeting Paul is contrasting between the believer and the unbeliever he also contrasting in these verses 5 6 7 and 8 between a spiritual believer and a carnal believer and so he make this contrast notice that in verse 5 the contrast between those that are in the flesh and those that are in the Spirit i just want to read this verse to you for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit he's making a contrast when you are after the flesh your mind and your thoughts is after the flesh the things of the flesh the things of the old nature the thing sinful life and those that are after the Spirit desire the things of the Spirit of God so he's making a contrast believer and.

A believer who is spiritual and a believer who is carnal. Because we also as believers can oftentimes live after the flesh. We don't allow the Spirit of God to lead us. Second contrast, verse 6, it says the contrast between death and life. To be carnally minded is death. And to be spiritual minded is life and peace. Peace so when someone is fleshly and carnally minded he or she really die spirit they don't enjoy the things of the Lord a believer who is carnally minded he's really spiritually speaking do not enjoy the Lord but those that are spiritual minded they are vibrant they live life honoring the Lord and shalom and peace here in this world.

So in making this contrast, we can contrast this with believer and unbeliever. Those that are carnally minded, the unbelievers, it leads to eternal death, eternal separation from God. And those that are spiritually minded lead to eternal life with the Lord. But the subject in Romans 8 is not so much dealing with believers and unbelievers, carnal-minded Christian or believer. In other words, the spiritual-minded and the carnal-minded. In verse 7, another contrast. The contrast between having war against God and peace with God. Verse 7, we have covered this as well. It says, because the carnal mind is enmity against God. It's at war with God. Any one of us, when we allow the flesh.

We allow carnality in our mind in our life we are really at enmity against God because whenever we desire our own flesh and carry on willfully in our own way we are really not at ease not at peace not at shalom with God we are at war with God but notice that he says in the same verse 7 he says but the He says, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. In other words, the carnal mind cannot be subject, but the spiritual minded is really having this peace with the Lord. And then verse 8, so then they that are in the flesh cannot please him.

Not as self-pleasing and God-pleasing. Another one in verse 8, they that are in the flesh, they cannot please God. It is self-pleasing. But they, of course, that are in the Spirit and walking in the power of the Spirit of God, they are God-pleasers. They are pleasing God in their lives. And this is tremendous because in reality, beloved brothers and sisters, this is the struggles that we as believers go every day. In our lives as believers. We are struggling with that because, again, Galatians chapter 5, we are called to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5 and verse 16. So now let's move on from verse 9.

This is the portion for us for today, in the next short while. In verses 9, 10, and 11, the apostle now reminds the Roman believers you have the Holy Spirit of God within you to aid you and to help you in your walk with the Lord. You know, brothers and sisters, what is the difference between the days of old in the history of our people of Israel before the Messiah came today the days after the Messiah Jesus came died was buried rose again and sent the holy Spirit of God here to this world the difference is simply this the same holy Spirit of God worked in every generation but what we need to learn that while the holy Spirit of God came upon the ordinary.

For a ministry, in this present age of the assembly, the ecclesia, the church age, the Holy Spirit of God is literally indwelled in every true believer. Now, it's the same person, but we live in a unique age, in this unique age that now Christ, the Messiah, finished the work of redemption. He is in heaven. He sent the Holy Spirit of God. He formed the body of Christ. The body of Messiah, and every true believer is possessing the Spirit of God in them. And so notice what we learn here. In verse 9, 10, and 11, Paul is now reminding the Roman believers that only believers have the Spirit of God.

Notice what he said in verse 9, but ye are not in the flesh. Roman believers, he said to them, You are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. And then he said, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Now, notice what he's saying. He's saying, but you are not in the flesh. In other words, although you are still here on earth, but really you belong to the Lord and you are no longer. In the flesh you are in Christ you know this expression in Christ in Hebrew in Messiah it is you are belonging to him it is an expression that is used in a new testament many times to be in Christ in Christ in Christ why because when we are in Christ it is a True born again believer belong to the risen Christ, the risen Messiah.

And therefore he's saying ye are not, notice that, ye are not in the flesh. You are no longer in the flesh. You belong to another. You belong to the Lord. You belong to heaven. You belong to the Redeemer. You belong to Yeshua, Jesus. But he continues to say you are in the Spirit. Scripture that expression in the Spirit just to mention if you turn to Philippians chapter 1 there is a verse there Philippians 1 and verse 19 just let me read this verse Philippians chapter 1 and verse 19 Paul is saying therefore I know if I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayers and the supply notice of the Spirit of Jesus Christ notice the Spirit of Jesus Christ the holy Spirit that came from the Lord Jesus is the one that belongs to us we are now in the Spirit and the Spirit of God dwell in you now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ notice his expression the Spirit of Christ the Spirit of Mashiach the Spirit of Christ if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he does not belong to him.

Only true believers have the indwelling of the person of the Holy Spirit of God. Only those that are born of the Spirit have the Holy Spirit of God in them. You remember what the Lord said to Nicodemus. You remember in the Gospel of John, in chapter 3, when the Lord Jesus was approached by Nakdimon, Jesus answered the senate to him, Verily, verily, I said to you, except a man be born again, he shall not see the kingdom of God. Verse 5 of John 3, Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I said to you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. John chapter 3 and verse 6. To be born again, to be born of the Spirit, the Spirit of God is indwelling the believers. And that is clarified for us here in Romans chapter 8 here, beloved brothers and sisters, but the apostle is emphasizing here to the believers. So he's saying in verse 9, Only believers have the Holy Spirit of God. Now, he doesn't put here a doubt. You know, sometimes people read this verse, and I'm going to reread this again in Romans 8 and verse 9. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. If so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you.

It's not a doubt here. If. It's an if of a should. It's a sense, really. Sins so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you in other words it's not a doubt here but he's speaking to the brethren he's speaking to the believers he have already told them that they are justified that they are sanctified that they belong to the Lord they are saints of God so it's not doubting here but it is assuring them he says look you are no longer in the flesh because the moment you have accepted the Lord Jesus the Messiah you have been transformed from the kingdom of this world to the kingdom of the son of his love and you belong to him and you are no longer in the flesh you are in the Spirit and he mentioned this at the end of this verse he says sin so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you now.

He said in verse 9b, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. In other words, everyone, beloved brothers and sisters, that do not have the Holy Spirit of God indwelt in him or her, excuse me, he or she really not belong to him. That's why it is so important for us to understand the truth of being born from above. To be born again to be born of the Holy Spirit of God ye must be born again and all true believers are born of the Holy Spirit of God and they belong to the Lord Jesus the Messiah and so he's reminding the Roman believers and you and I as well that we have the Holy Spirit of God indwelling us and we are no longer in the flesh although many times we walk in a way that is not pleasing to the Lord we walk in the flesh but we really no longer in positionally we are in Christ we belong to the Lord Jesus the Messiah if you just jump down to verse 16 of Roman chapter 8 it says the spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

How do we know that we are the children of God? Because the Spirit of God that is indwelling in the believer, bearing witness with us, saying, "Hey, you belong to the Lord. You are redeemed. You have eternal salvation, eternal relationship with God on the basis of the finished work of Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah, and you belong to Him. And the Holy Spirit of God is witness reminding us you belong to me you belong to the Lord Jesus the Messiah and so that's so beautiful to see that beloved brothers and sisters so in verse 9 he is clearly Paul is clearly emphasizing the fact that those that belong to the Lord are the only ones that have the Spirit of God and if someone doesn't have the Holy Spirit of.

God he or she do not belong to him. Now there are many many names that we have in the Word of God concerning the person of the Holy Spirit of God. Let me just give you some of these names and sometimes the Spirit of God called the Spirit of Christ. In 1 Peter 4:14 the Holy Spirit of God called the Spirit of glory. In Acts 5 the Holy Spirit of God called God the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 1:17 the Spirit is called the Holy Spirit of God called the Spirit of Revelation in Galatians 4:6 we read the expression the Spirit of the son in fact in Genesis 1 verse 2 it's the first time we have the word Ruach in Hebrew Ruach Spirit in chapter 1 verse 2 it says the Spirit of God Ruach ha'Elohim the Spirit that.

God the Holy Spirit. In Hebrews 9 he is called the eternal Spirit. In Isaiah 11 the prophet Isaiah said to our people Israel the Spirit of the Lord rested upon him upon the Messiah the spirit of Jehovah. He is called the spirit of wisdom in Isaiah 11. He is called the spirit of counsel the spirit of might the spirit of understanding the spirit of knowledge the spirit of the fear of the Lord. This is the Holy Spirit of God, the person of the Holy Spirit of God, who is called in Isaiah 4, the Spirit of judgment, the Spirit of burning in Isaiah 4, 4, the Spirit of the Lord God in Isaiah 61 and verse 1.

So there are many names. In Romans chapter 8, where we are, here is called, here in, if you notice that, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of the Messiah, He is none of His. Do you belong to Him? Did you accept the Lord Jesus the Messiah as your Lord and Savior? Well, if you did, you are born of the Spirit. You have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God. You are born again. And you have the person of the Holy Spirit of God indwelled in you. And so Paul now, notice that I'm reading the next verse, verse 10. Paul wants the Roman believers to be assured and to realize that they don't have to live a defeated life.

They can live a victorious life if they just allow themselves to be controlled by the person of the Holy Spirit. So he's saying to them in verse 9, you are not in the flesh, you are in the Spirit. You became believers, you received the Holy Spirit. And unbelievers don't have the person of the Holy Spirit at all. They are not born again. They are lost in trespasses and sins, and they need to turn to the Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, and receive Him as their Lord and Savior. Now, he's saying in verse 10 that the Holy Spirit is, notice that, is life, not only life-giving, but also sustaining God's people to live life in a way that it is honorable to God.

And so in verse 10 he says, if Christ be in you, verse 10, Romans 8 verse 10, if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is alive because of righteousness. So he's speaking again to the believers at Rome. He says, you know. If again the if here you notice quite a few times the word if is mentioned in the king James version but it's not if of doubt it's the if of since since Christ since Christ being you now yet the body is dead because of sin but the Spirit is live because of righteousness now what does he say here because Christ is in you.

The Messiah is in you. What happened is, although this dead body, with this body we have committed all sorts of sins, and yet what he is really saying, that although this body is dead because of sin, he says, yet, he says, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. In other words, the Spirit of God assists the believer to live a life that is honoring to the Lord. And because the body, you know, the word death means separation. What happened when sin came to this world, there was a separation from God. There was spiritual deadness. Then there was physical separation between the spirit and the soul and the body.

Eternal separation if one is not a believer. When he or she dies, they will be eternally separated from God. So in this body, the body, because of the sin nature, committed deadness. It really, in other words, lived a life that is dead. No relationship with God. No fellowship with God. But now because Christ is in us, the Messiah is in us, Notice that the Spirit of God is life producing a fruit for God because of righteousness. Every time that we do some things that honoring the Lord here in this world, do righteous things here in this world, is a work of the Holy Spirit of God in our lives that produce righteousness, the fruit of righteousness.

To the Lord but in the old sin nature of ours led us to commit all sorts of things that dishonored the Lord and that's why there is a difference between the word the body is dead because of sin but because of the Spirit of God the Spirit is life why because of the righteousness that one is producing when he or she are following the Lord Jesus, the Messiah. And so as we are moving along now, notice that, beloved brothers and sisters, in the next verses, in the next verse, I should say, verse 11, we have the lesson that Paul is emphasizing in verse 11, that the Spirit of God is the Spirit of resurrection.

The Spirit of God is a Spirit of life. And so we read in verse 11, beloved brothers and sisters, but if or since, once again, since the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you twice in this verse Paul is using the word that dwell in you notice if the Spirit or since the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit again they dwell in you he is emphasizing is emphasizing the fact that the Holy Spirit of God is indwelling the believers, the Roman believers.

He is indwelling you and I when we have accepted Him. So the Holy Spirit of God is a person. If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the Holy Spirit of God, God the Holy Spirit. The dead it's very interesting to notice that that in the Scripture we have the involvement of all the three persons of the Godhead in the resurrection of the Messiah God the father raised his son the man Christ Jesus God the holy Spirit raised the Lord Jesus the man Christ Jesus from among the dead and also the Son himself, the Lord himself, raised himself.

In other words, all the triune God is involved in the resurrection of the Messiah. And here in this verse 11, we learn that the Holy Spirit of God, God the Holy Spirit, raised up the Lord Jesus from the dead. Notice that? That was involved in the resurrection of the Messiah in other words the power of the resurrection of the Messiah the power of the Spirit of God that raised up the Lord Jesus the Messiah from the from the dead is the very same person the holy Spirit of God that is working in our lives the same power and the same person who has the power that is the holy Spirit of God is the one that is working in our lives that in enables us to live life that is pleasing to God when we allow him to guide us and control our lives.

Now just turn to Galatians for a moment. Galatians, just a verse there. In Galatians chapter 1, I want to read that verse. Galatians 1 verse 1. You see, it's not only the Holy Spirit of God that was involved in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Messiah from the dead, but also God the Father, Elohim Ha'av. So God the Father was involved in the resurrection of the man, Christ Jesus of the Messiah. And God the Holy Spirit in our chapter, Romans chapter 8 and verse 11, was the one that raised him from the dead. But notice one more verse if you turn back to John, back to John chapter 10. And I just want to read a verse there.

18 where the Lord himself, Yeshua himself, says that he is able to raise himself from among the dead. John 10 verse 17, Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. You know, it is so beautiful to see the triunity of the Godhead that is involved in the resurrection of the Messiah. And to remind you that the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, was raised for our justification.

At the end of chapter 4, the book of Romans we learn he was delivered for our offenses but he was raised for our justification so while in John 10 he spoke of himself raising himself after death and while Paul in Galatians 1 says that it is God the father that raised him from the dead in Romans chapter 8 and verse 11 It is God, the Holy Spirit of God, the very same God, the Holy Spirit, who raised Him from the dead, raised up Jesus from the dead, is the very same person that is dwelling within every believer. God Himself, He that raised up Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortal bodies by the Spirit that dwelleth in you now.

I was looking at this verse and kind of asking the question, he says, what does it mean, shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you? What does he mean? Again, he's not so much here in relation to you and I, he's not so much now speaking of the fact that one day we will be resurrected. Yes, that's true. We will be resurrected. But what he's really emphasizing here, beloved brothers and sisters, is that because the Holy Spirit of God is indwelling us here on earth, and we are still here, he's able to awaken us to live a godly life. Oh yes, we will be resurrected at the rapture.

Are alive and remain should be caught us together to meet the Lord and dear yes the dead in Christ those that are died and was buried will be resurrected before the rapture will take place and be changed but the emphasis here is not so much of the that is speaking about the future day of resurrection but he's speaking about raising us we might say spiritually speaking raising up our life here to live a life here while we are still on earth these mortal bodies that bodies that is so subject to to carry on and live a life that is not pleasing to the Lord he is able to quicken notice to awaken your notice he doesn't say your dead bodies by your but your mortal bodies you know mortal means that is a person is a sinner Mortality means failure, decay, limitation, failure.

So the Holy Spirit of God, that's the thought that we have here, who in his power not only led the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, in his life, but also raised him after he died and was buried. The person of the Holy Spirit of God with his power, God the Holy Spirit, is the very same God the Holy Spirit who is able to awaken us to live a spiritual life here on earth. To enable us to walk in the power of the Spirit of God and not to walk in the power of the flesh. Is emphasizing the fact, beloved brothers and sisters, that the believers have the Holy Spirit of God to help us to live a life that is sanctified, set apart.

Now you and I might say, well, I don't realize that many times in my life because I'm not always in good fellowship with the Lord. Many times I don't read the Bible. Many times I don't go to meetings. Many times I don't pray. I don't have fellowship with the Lord. Well, it happened with us as believers here on earth, but we don't have to live a defeated life. We can live a victorious life if we will allow the Lord to help us, if we will allow the Spirit of God to lead us. By the Spirit of God in his life here on earth. Listen to this verse.

Go to Matthew chapter 4. Matthew chapter 4, we read of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, that he himself was led by the Spirit of God even when he went to the desert, to the wilderness, to be tempted by Satan. Matthew chapter 4 in verse 1. Then was Jesus, listen, led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. The Spirit of God led Yeshua the Messiah in his life here. He led him in everywhere, wherever he have, whatever he have done here on earth, the Spirit of God led the Lord Jesus the Messiah. He became an example. He was led by the Spirit of God.

Very interesting expression here in this chapter. Notice this expression, led. If you turn to Mark chapter 1 as well, and there we read in verse 12, Mark 1 and verse 12. Listen to this verse, and I'm reading verse 12. Immediately the Spirit, listen, driveth him into the wilderness. The Spirit of God led him. The Spirit of God driven him. It is the same Holy Spirit of God that led our Lord Jesus the Messiah in his life. In whatever he has done, the Spirit of God was not given unto him in measure and he was guided as a man by the Spirit of God. Well, the Spirit of Christ, The same Spirit that raised him from the dead is the same Spirit of God that dwells in us.

And that Holy Spirit of God is able to lead God's people today here in this world. And so, beloved brothers and sisters, Romans 8, verses 9, 10, and 11, of God indwelt in him or in her and the holy Spirit of God is able to lead us to live life that is pleasing to the Lord and when we don't allow him to lead us then what happened we stumble and we fall and we don't honor the Lord and we ending up living life that is not. The Lord and so the portion that i will stop with for this meeting is actually Romans chapter 8 verses 9 10 and 11 the fact that every true believer have the holy Spirit of God and my question is to you who listen to me today are you do you belong to the Lord have you accepted the Lord Jesus the Messiah as your Lord and Savior Well, if you don't, as you didn't as yet, well, we challenge you to acknowledge that Yeshua, Jesus, is your Savior, and Lord, recognize that He died for you, that He was buried, and He rose again.

And if you will only believe on Him, whoever you are, you will receive the Holy Spirit of God to indwelling you, and you will become a child of God. With him and as long that you will live here on earth as a child of God you will be able to receive the help of the Spirit of God the same person and power of the Holy Spirit of God that raised up the Lord Jesus from among the dead is the very same person that dwells in the believers and is able to is pleasing to God to quicken your mortal bodies by that same Spirit that dwells in you.

Oh yes, He will raise us, the believers, one day in a future day from among the dead at the rapture, and we will be receiving a glorified body. But until that time, the same person of the Holy Spirit of God. Us to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord don't ever forget that true believers have the holy Spirit of God indwelt in them and so may the Lord help us to grasp it and may the Lord help us to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh and so our God and our father we want to thank you for the person and the work of the Holy Spirit of God.

Bless us, encourage us, and help us to be led by Ruach HaKodesh, to be led by the Spirit, by the Holy Spirit of God. We ask it in Yeshua, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen.
