Well, we want to say shalom and welcome to everyone to our Bible classes of the Holy Scriptures in Israel. We are thankful once again to be able to learn from the Word of God together. We have arrived to Romans chapter 8 and we are really drawing nigh towards the end of the 8th chapter. Read the last verses of Romans chapter 8. I will read from verse 23 for the context to the end of the chapter to verse 39. Hopefully you have your Bibles with you and that you open it please to Romans chapter 8. Let's pray together. Let's ask the Lord to bless our meeting today. Our God and our Father thank you for your word.

Thank you for the book of Romans. Thank you for the Spirit of God that is our guide and our helper. We pray that you will bless us as we look together over these verses. We pray that you will guide us and help us by your Spirit, for we ask it in Yeshua, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So turn with me to Romans chapter 8 and verse 23. But just let me read it because that's the break here in our study. So Romans 8 and verse 23, the Apostle Paul continued to say to the Roman believers, and not only they, he's speaking about not only the creation, but we ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption to wit, For we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope.

For what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. What we should pray for as we art, for the Spirit itself or himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are they called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate, to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? It is God that justifies. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword, For thy sake we are killed all the day long, we are counted a sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Mashiach Yeshua our Lord. And so I'm stopping here in the reading of the Word of God in Romans chapter 8, beloved brothers and sisters. And this is such an encouraging chapter.

After all, dear brothers and sisters, the 8th chapter of the book of Romans. Is a chapter that they that help us to understand that although in Roman chapter 6 and chapter 7 we are exhorted to to you know not to walk anymore in the way we used to live in the past and that although we want to do certain things to please the Lord and because of our sin nature we oftentimes fail because the flesh is depraved and by nature we are really the flesh cannot be improved or fixed that's why the Messiah Jesus had to come and die so he would give us a new life a new nature a divine nature that cannot sin but in order to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord we need the help of the Spirit of God and so in this amazing eight chapter The apostle Paul is presenting before the Roman believers that there is no condemnation in the believers.

Romans 8 verses 1 to 4. There is also no obligation. We are freed now from defeat because we belong to the Lord and we don't have to live anymore in a defeated state. We have the we trusted in the Lord Jesus the Messiah the holy Spirit of God is indwelling every one of us but in this section that we are studying now for verses 18 to verse 30 and also from verse 31 to the end we are also exhorted to understand that we are now freed from discouragement and there is no need to be frustrated Although, sadly to say, many times we are as believers. Many times we don't allow the Holy Spirit of God to lead us on so we will be able to rise above the circumstances that we find ourselves in doing our lives as believers in the Lord Jesus the Messiah.

And of course, finally, there is the thought of no separation. In Romans 8 verses 31 to 39. But we are right now in these verses between verse 18 to verse 30 and in verses 18 to verse 30 we have freedom from being discouraged and there is no need to be frustrated. Why? Because we belong to the Lord and we have the help of the Holy Spirit of God to guide us and yet we learn here in these verses from 18 to verse 30 that Paul in this section deals with the problem of sufferings and pain that God's people, like all the world, experience. And although we belong to the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, we will never, as long as we are here in this world, will cease from experiencing suffering and pain.

But with the help of God, with the help of the Lord Jesus, the glorified Messiah. With the help of the Spirit of God, we are encouraged not to be discouraged and not to be frustrated, but to continue on to follow the Lord with the help of the Spirit of God. And so in these verses, you notice with the Apostle Paul, and we are actually in verse 23, but in verses 18 to 22, we have already learned that the whole creation is groaning. We have already spoken about that in our previous meeting together. The whole creation is groaning. Why? Because notice that he says in verse 18, For I reckon that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

And then he went all the way down. He says we are waiting. The earnest expectation of the creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Creation is waiting where the sons of God the believers those that belong to God will finally be receiving their portion and the Lord Jesus will come and take his rightful place here in this world and that's why he says in verse 22 where we finish in our previous meeting together for we know notice again he says we know that the whole creation is groaning and the word for groaning here is in in Hebrew is it's like it's like you are you are you're having this kind of pain in your heart and you are longing you're expecting the day when there will be the manifestation of the sons of God when the Lord Jesus the Messiah will come and rule and reign and have his rightful place and God's people will be in the in in the place that God have intended for them and the whole world will be in a time of.

Blessing where the Lord Jesus the Messiah will rule and reign. And that is what the creation is waiting. Waiting, the creation is groaning and waiting for the time that the manifestation of the children of God. Earnestly waiting for that. It says in verse 20, for the creation was made subject to vanity, to futility. Why? God cursed this earth because of sin. And because of sin, the earth is under curse. And that's why if you read in Genesis chapter 3 how God said to Adam that he, with the sweat of his brow, he will eat bread and he will work and there will be suffering and sorrow here in this world.

Even the women will bring children with much sorrow and pain. That's the condition of the whole creation. And every one of us that were born into this creation, and part of this creation, experienced it. But now we became believers, and you would think that the apostle Paul said, yes, but the believers are not going to groan because they are now saved, they are forgiven, they have a hope. Well, we are not yet in heaven. We are still here in this world. And therefore, in the next verses, 23, 24, and 25, it's not only that the whole creation is growing, the Lord Yeshua Jesus the Messiah also are groaning and that's why he said in verse 23 24 and 25 he said not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the Spirit even we grow ourselves grown within ourselves why why are we groaning after all we are saved we are believers we have eternal salvation You see, we already have been adopted as sons.

We belong to the Lord. Notice verse 15. So we are already adopted. Positionally, we belong to the Lord, but we are waiting. And we are waiting for the adoption, verse 23, of what known as the redemption of our body. We are waiting that not only our soul will be redeemed, but also our body. Now somebody asked, is there any redemption, atonement, in other words, in the cross, when the Lord Jesus the Messiah died on that Roman cross, he finished the work of redemption, leave us here with a condition such as all mankind today having a groaning and in a world that is filled with sin and animosity against God no because he wants to give us and to give us the the blessing that he's intending for us and there is a day coming in which he will give us a glorified body we have spoken about it in our previous meeting together and.

Only these beloved brothers and sisters we ourselves are groaning as believers we are waiting for the time that our bodies will no longer be in that state it will be a glorified body suited for the presence of the Lord you know there is a verse in second corinthian turn to second corinthian chapter five in second corinthian chapter five we wait We read in the first few verses, for we know, verse 1, that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands eternal in the heaven. But notice verse 2. In this we groan. In this body we groan earnestly.

We are desiring to be closed upon with our house which is from heaven. This body we are groaning as believers. Waiting for the day when we will receive that suitable glorified body that's what we are waiting for and therefore the apostle Paul emphasized here the fact that not only they but we ourselves groaning just to read another verse you notice what we read in verse 34 of Mark chapter 7 when the Lord Jesus the Messiah when he was he went through the midst of the coast of the decapolis this is the ten cities north of Israel he noticed what we find out that a certain woman came to him at death that had been impotent in in his speech and so on and you notice what we read about the Lord that he said this we read in verse 34 and looking up to heaven he sighed here's the thought of sighing and saith unto him he patach he patach means that that his ears will be open in Hebrew he patach but he was sighing why was he sighing because of the consequence of sin.

One cannot hear. One cannot speak. The impediments that exist, the corruption that is existing here in this world because of sin and sin nature. And all creation is groaning. The believers are groaning. What they are groaning for, what they are desiring, verse 24, the believers have a hope. They are waiting for the day. Notice I'm reading now in Romans 8, verse 24, And so he's saying here that we are saved. Now what does he mean when he says that we are saved by hope? We are saved by the sure God-given hope, sure hope, that is based upon the finished work of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. And so he's saying we are saved by hope.

He's saying we will be delivered one day from this body of humiliation and that we will receive a glorified body, 1 Corinthians chapter 15, We will be transformed and we will receive a glorified incorruptible body, no longer corruptible as it is right now, suitable for the presence of God. No more pain, no more sorrow, no more anymore, that which is causing us to groan. And so in verses, you notice five times the word hope in Hebrew is mentioned here in these verses. We are saved by hope. But hope the second time that is seen is not hope. The third time. For what a man sees, why does he yet hope for?

The fourth time. And then the fifth time in verse 25. But if we hope for that which we do not see, then do we with patience wait for that. Maybe yes and maybe no. No, it is a sure hope, beloved brothers and sisters, that the believer in the Lord Jesus the Messiah has. A sure hope that every believer has because by virtue of the fact that the Lord Jesus the Messiah finished the work on that cross. Notice that. 1 Thessalonians chapter 1 and verse 3. Remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of God and our Father.

The believers in the Lord Jesus the Messiah are a call to remember and Paul is really speaking as he's writing this to the Thessalonians. Remembering without ceasing about you, Thessalonians, he's saying to them, he said, your work of faith, your labor of love, but also your patience of the sure hope that is given unto you by the Lord. Now turn with me also to the book of Titus. In Titus chapter 2, we do read, beloved brothers and sisters, hope is true hope it says in verse 11 it says for the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared unto all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust we should live soberly righteously and godly in this present world listen to this verse 13 looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Yeshua HaMashiach Jesus Christ he's going to come he's going to appear and so Titus was told by Shaul Paul that the grace of God brings salvation appeared when the Lord Jesus the Messiah died on the shameful cross and was buried in.

But it's not only that the grace of God brings salvation, but the grace of God teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust, to live soberly and righteously in this present world. So the grace of God brings salvation, the grace of God teaching the believer, but the grace of God also And cause the believers to wait for the sure hope. And that's what we have in verse 13. Looking or waiting for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us. And so, beloved brothers and sisters, what we learn here in these verses, verses 18 to 22, that the whole creation is groaning.

Groaning simply means they are in pain. The whole creation is experiencing sorrow, pain, sadness, and the consequence of the curse. So now, out of the whole creation, God has taken the people for Himself, and He has brought you and I into the knowledge of the Savior. Of the assembly, the ecclesia, the believers in this present age. But Paul is explaining, brothers and sisters, don't be frustrated. Don't be discouraged. Realize that it is natural, it is common for the believers to also groan. We groan because of our own sinfulness and failure. We groan because of the harm that sin caused. Sadness of loss of loved one of divisions of separation of pain that we inflict upon one another in the world the wars and all the things all the effect of the curse so although we are forgiven and our sins were washed away by the blood of the lamb and we belong to the Lord and we will go to be there in heaven not because of any goodness of our own but because of what he had done for us Yet we are still here.

Do you know the last time that we will stop to have pain, sorrow and groaning? The last time will be when the Lord will take us out of this scene. Then we will never experience the pain, the sadness, the sorrow and the groaning when the Lord will take us out of here. Eventually, at the rapture of the church, the dead in Christ will rise first, the dead in the Messiah. Then we which are alive and remain also will be together with them, caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and the change will take place. That we will receive an incorruptible body suitable for the presence of the Lord.

But now notice this. Not only that creation is groaning, not only that believers are groaning, But in these next verses, verses 26 to 30, the person of the Holy Spirit of God is groaning on our behalf as well. To remind you that the theme of the person of the Holy Spirit of God is in chapter 8, in Romans chapter 8. In Romans chapter 7, the flesh is the me, my, and I, the old nature, but in Romans chapter 8 is that. The encouragement is to have the Spirit of God guiding us here and now while we are still here in this world, while the creation is groaning, while the believers are groaning.

The Spirit of God was given unto us to aid, to help us, the Perakletos. So now in verses 26 to 30, we learn that in the same way, notice how it began in verse 26. Likewise. The word for likewise is in the same way as the whole creation is groaning, as you and I are groaning, likewise the Spirit, the Holy Spirit of God is the person of the Holy Spirit of God that indwell in us. The Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought, itself or really more correctly the Spirit himself maketh not as that intercession for us not as that with groanings which cannot be uttered so what we learn here beloved brothers and sisters that the holy Spirit of God is the one that is called here the uh the one that help us you remember the word Our helper already was found in the gospel.

He is the Perakletos. He is our helper. He is one that is going to come and to take the residence in the believers, Yeshua said in John 14, 15, and 16. So the Holy Spirit of God helping us. You see, what does he do? Listening, the person of the Holy Spirit of God now indwelling in the believer. Now, we cannot see him, but he, according to the Word of God, he is indwelling a believer. Notice that we read in verse 9 of our chapter, "If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Only believers have the person of the Holy Spirit of God indwelling them.

So the ministry of the Spirit of God is to be our helper. In fact, he's interceding on our behalf. Just for a moment, go to the book of Hebrews. And there in chapter 7, we learn that the Lord Jesus himself as the great high priest interceding on our behalf, as well as we have it in Hebrews 7, verse 23, 24, and 25, where we do read that the Lord Jesus as a great high priest, Interceding on our behalf, I'll just read verse 26, For such a high priest became us. Go to verse 25, back. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth not as that, to make intercession for them.

In other words, the Lord Jesus as the great high priest at the right hand of God, He is helping, He is interceding on our behalf. He knows our weakness. But here we find that the Spirit of God as well. He is the one that is helping us. And so we read in verse 26, the Holy Spirit making intercession for us with groaning. Now, here's where I would like to mention. Say you see this is the groaning of the Spirit of God which causes one to speak in tongues but you notice what it says here it says he's groaning the Spirit of God help us to make intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered there's no voice here there's no sound there's not utterance and the experiences that each and every one of us have in our life and he takes it and he's groaning and on our behalf presenting our needs before God our Abba and that's why Paul is saying likewise just like the world is groaning creation just like the believers are groaning now the Holy Spirit of God also is groaning but when he is groaning he helps our infirmities you see we have an infirmities weaknesses now he doesn't condone our sins obviously sin the Messiah died for but here he's speaking about infirmities infirmities for when we do not even know.

Sometimes, you know, brothers and sisters, we do not know what we should pray as we ought. You know, sometimes because of pain, because of sorrows and trials in the life of the believers, they don't know what to say. How to say, what to say, what to ask from God. Although we can always ask Him and speak with Him and share with Him all our burdens, casting all your cares upon Him, Peter said in 1 Peter. He cares for you, but we don't know everything. We are feeble human beings. We don't know. I don't know what trouble you go now through, and we all go through some troubles in our lives, failure of our own, failure of others, challenges on every hand, some more, some less.

Think about the persecuted believers in Asia Minor and so on because of their faith in the Jesus and the groaning that must be groaning because of the experiences that they have in their lives so Paul is saying that the Spirit help our infirmities because we do not know what we should pray for as we are but the Spirit you see the person of the Holy Spirit of God that in dwelling in the believer he's our helper our paracletos. And the Spirit of God himself makes intercession. It's so beautiful. He's interceding. He's praying for us. He's taking the challenges, the problems that we have, and he's speaking, you might say, interceding on our behalf, just like the Lord Jesus the Messiah in Hebrews chapter 7, the great high priest making intercession for us.

Can you imagine? Spirit, God the Son, are involved in interceding on behalf of God's people. And notice his intercession for us with groaning that cannot be uttered. You cannot utter them. I cannot utter them. Because verse 27, notice what it says in verse 27, the hearts, you know, God the Father searches our hearts. He knows what is the mind of the Spirit. You see, God the Holy Spirit and God the Son and God the Father, they know within the persons of the Godhead is one mind. It's harmony, there's unity, perfection. And so he that searches the heart that is God, God the Father. He knows what is the mind of the Spirit, God the Holy Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

In other words, the Holy Spirit of God making intercession, not as according to the will of God, not our own will, but according to the will of God. We sometimes do not know what is the will of God for us in certain situations. Maybe sometime he allowed us to go through trials to teach us some lessons. Maybe he allowed the believer to experience some difficulties, and we will see it in a moment, in order to train them, to teach them, and they are going through pain. Maybe they are experiencing opposition from the enemies, Satan attacked God's people at all times, accusing God's people, and so on, The Holy Spirit of God is able to know the mind of God, the Father.

One mind, the Godhead. And therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, verse 26, the Holy Spirit of God making intercession for the believers, for us, with groaning which cannot be uttered. Verse 27, we notice the persons of the Godhead, knowing that all things, knowing everything about us beloved brothers and sisters let me read you a verse in in Luke chapter 22 before the Lord Jesus the Messiah died on the Roman cross we read in verse 31 and 32 of Luke chapter 22. He said: "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat." But then look what he said: "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.

And when thou art converted or when you are strengthened and returned back to me to be fellowship with me." thy brethren. You see, the Lord Jesus the Messiah was praying for Shimon Petos while he was still on earth before he died, while in Hebrews 7 we find him interceding for the saints, for the people of God, as a great high priest in heaven. I am praying. I have prayed for you. I have prayed for you. Said to Shimon Petos I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not you see sometimes we get so much discouragement that our trust in the Lord fading we get disappointed and you know it in your life and I know it in mine but thank God thank God that we belong to the Lord and nothing will No one and nothing can be able to separate us from God to whom we belong.

Because remember, we begin in chapter 8, where we read in verse 1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. No condemnation. We are saved for time and for eternity. The whole theme of the book of Roman is that being justified freely by his grace and although a time we live in a world that is groaning and although a time as believers we groan ourselves and we know that the holy Spirit of God is groaning within us and making intercession for us before God and here we find out that that this groaning is praying on our behalf sharing with God because the Spirit of God and God the Father knows exactly what is the mind within the Godhead the purposes of God the plan of God for those that belong to him and that goes along immediately with the following verse because in verse 28 we probably quoted it many times this verse know this verse by heart but we don't always adhere to this verse we don't always you might say agree because of our disappointment and discouragement here in this world and failure but yet this is a true statement that we have in the word of God concerning the fact that whatever experiences the Lord allows the believers to experience in their lives.

That is often and actually that is always working for their benefit. It's for our own good. And so that famous verse of Romans 8 and verse 28, For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. In other words, even the things that we don't like to have, Eventually beloved brothers and sisters all things notice we know first he says here in this verse 28 we know that all things work for good notice all things works together for good to them notice to them that love God he doesn't speak about the unbelieving world right now he's speaking of the believers of the redeemed and everything that happened in the life of the redeemed because the context is the believers now.

Course everything in the world working according to the purpose of God according to the will of God but in the context all the challenges all the the problems all the circumstances we experience in our life ultimately whether we like it or not whether we accept it or not whether we agree with it or not we know on the basis of the word of God that all things work together for good notice he says all things not only all good things You see, God has a purpose for you and for me. God has a purpose for each and every one of us. Go to the next chapter for a moment in Romans chapter 9 and notice what it says there in verse 11.

In the context is the context of the the children of Israel the people of Israel the nation of Israel in Roman chapter 9 but verse 11 it says speaking of course of the of the children that were born Ishmael and we will get to it and and Yitzhak and so on and then later on the other children of the children of rebecca verse 11 for the children being not yet born neither having done any good or evil that the purpose of God according to election might stand not of works but of him that calleth even the two children Yaakov and Esav God had a purpose for them before they were born And specifically here is that God had purposed to have a nation through Yaakov that will become Yisrael through whom the Messiah will come and blessing will flow to the world.

You see that? The word purpose is mentioned there. It's interesting, beloved brothers and sisters. Ephesians chapter 1 as well. There it says in Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 11, the apostle Paul is writing there and he says in verse 11, in whom, speaking about in Christ, in a Messiah, in whom also we have obtained an inheritance being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will God's providence everything in this world this is the providence of God is working out according to his will according to his purpose he purposed it according to him to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will you see these beloved brothers and sisters turn to chapter 3 of Ephesians and there also in verse 11 it says here notice in verse 11 speaking about the church it is a mystery the ecclesia it was a mystery that was a been hid in God verse 9 it was not revealed unto the sons of men in verse 5 but in verse 11 it's.

Says of Ephesians chapter 3 according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord God has purposed that his will will be done and will be brought in the present day of the church age was while it was hidden God but while it was not made known to the sons of men God has a purpose to have a bride for Christ, for the Messiah, a heavenly bride, as he purposed to have an earthly wife, namely the nation of Israel. It is his plan and his purpose. And so everything that we go through, for we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them what they call according to his purpose, everything ultimately works.

Walk according to his purpose that is important for us as well to understand beloved brothers and sisters i want to just read one more verse in first in second Timothy chapter one it says in second Timothy chapter one and then it says in this second Timothy chapter one and verse nine who has saved us and called us with a holy calling not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. So you can see that everything that God has allowed us to experience in our life is a And therefore, while creation is groaning, while we all are groaning, yet the Spirit of God as well is groaning, making intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.

We cannot speak, we cannot say a word. Us he knows the Spirit of God God the Holy Spirit God the Father knowing everything about us and therefore the Spirit of God is interceding on our behalf to God the Father and Paul encouraging the believers to accept to know to accept and accept that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to God's purpose. That is so amazing, isn't it? Very practical, not easy to accept, but yet we need... That's why the whole 8th chapter deals with the ministry of the Spirit of God in the life of God's people.

Working in our lives, allowing us to experience certain things and assisting us and helping us. That's why he's called the paracletos, the helper. Coming alongside us to aid us as believers as we walk here in this world experiencing sorrows and sadness and pain and that we are groaning within ourselves, waiting for the day that we will be receiving this glorified body and be with our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and have him come down to this earth and having his rightful place here in this world. This is the groaning. We long for it. We're waiting for the redemption of our bodies. The Holy Spirit of God aid us.

He groans on our behalf, making intercession on our behalf. And Paul is emphasizing the fact we need to realize, we need to know, while we know in our head, we know according to the Word of God, but we should know in our hearts that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. Understand why why Lord why you allow me to experience this why these things happen to me in my life and all of us are asking this every day why this and why that and yet the Spirit of God is groaning making intercession for us now that we finish in verse 28 just let's finish this section in verse 29 and verse 30 we have God not only that read that everything worked for good according to God's purpose, but you notice once again in these next verses, verses 29 and 30, that that purpose for his people is really worked out already in the plan and in the program of God already from eternity past.

Notice how beautiful these verses, Let me read them together. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Then he continued verse 30. More of whom he did predestinate, them he also called. And whom he called. Then he also justified. And whom he justified, then he also glorified. Notice that all these statements here are really past tense. He predestinated us. He called us, past tense. He justified, ed, us. And he glorified us. God is concerned it is a done deal it has been done already we are seen as if we already been glorified that we are seated with the Lord Jesus in heaven although we are still here in this world it is fascinating to see it it's very similar that when God have taken his earthly people Israel out of Egypt he as far as he was concerned he has already brought them out And they have already brought them in to the promised land that he had promised unto them.

And if you remember, we read in Exodus, both in Exodus chapter 2 and in Exodus chapter 6, we do read, beloved brothers and sisters, of the fact that God saw the sighing of the children of Israel. In verse 23 of Exodus chapter 2. And he heard a cry because of the bondage. And then God heard, God remembered, God looked upon them, God had respect or he knew them. And then he made promises to the people of Israel. And if you read now in chapter 6 of the book of Exodus. Of Israel. It says in verse 5 of chapter 6 of Exodus, I've also heard the groaning of the children of Israel. Verse 5 at the end, I have remembered my covenant.

Verse 6, I am the Lord and I will bring you out. Now, if you would have read the Hebrew text here, you would see that all these words are in past tense. It says in verse 6 again, it says, I will rid you out of bondage, out of their bondage. I will take you to me to be a people, verse 7. I will be to you a God, verse 7. Verse 8, I will bring you in unto the land concerning which I did swear to give it unto Abraham and to Isaac and to Jacob. And the final in verse 8, I will give it unto you for an inheritance, for an inheritance.

I am the Lord. The words here are in past tense. It's all past tense. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. While he hasn't done it as yet, but as far as he's concerned, it is a done deal. Well, here it is the same way. And I'm reading this again, beloved brothers and sisters. It's the ED at the end. Tells us that as far as he's concerned he has already noticed that let me read these two verses again verse 29 and verse 30 for whom he did foreknew he knew in eternity past beloved brothers and sisters he have already knew he have already knew in a sense of choosing an election he have elected the people for himself predestination whom He foreknew, whom He foreknew, He also did predestinate.

Why? He predestinated. He chose them to be conformed to the image of His Son. He wanted many people like His Son, like the Messiah, Jesus. And then we read that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Achim. He is the firstborn in resurrection among many, many brethren. Many brethren that will enter into a relationship with God because of the finished work of Christ, of the Messiah. And he will become the firstborn for all those that will believe on him and trust him. He continues, and then verse 30, this is so beautiful. You see, it is totally all from God, nothing from us. We didn't do anything to earn it.

Notice verse 30. More of whom he did predestinate, in other words, whom he, the one that have chosen in eternity past, in other words, in advanced knowledge and a plan, whom he did predestinate, notice that, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also jestered. Notice, predestinate in eternity past, called in time, justified by faith. Now when we came to know the Lord Jesus, he justified us and glorified. Now notice it says he also glorified ed. Also in the future will glorify them but no he have already glorified and in fact what we really learn that as far as God is concerned the believers are already seen as if they are seated in the heavenlies in heaven with the risen Christ as if we there already although we are still waiting for that day We will be with him and be like him.

We receive a glorified body. But as far as God in his providence and his sovereign election, he have predestinated us in eternity past. He called us here and now in time. He knew whom he is going to bring to himself. Hearts to trust in His Son, the Messiah, Jesus, who died for our sin. And He, as far as He is concerned, you and I are considered to be as if we are already in glory with Him, yet we are still waiting for the day, the resurrection and the rapture where He will take us. Notice, just quickly, just a couple more verses. Turn with me once again to Ephesians.

And notice that we often make a reference to Ephesians chapter Ephesians chapter 1 and verses 3 and 4. It says in verse 3, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. Notice then, verse 4, according as he had chosen us in him, notice then, before the foundation of the world. That we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Notice again, verse 5, having predestined. Predestined us. He predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ. Now, I want to mention something that is very important. Nowhere in the Word of God you find out that God ever predestined unbelievers to go to hell.

But you oftentimes find that God has elected and predestined the believers, those who will become believers, to go to heaven. In other words, all humanity deserves to go to eternal separation from God. We all together run, run, run, run, run, and there is a cliff, and all of us are going to fall down that cliff. All of us deserve that because of our sin nature. Passed. We have been chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. By the way, this expression, before the foundation of the world, always kind of puzzled me, because we learn that God has existed before he made a world, but he has already in his sovereign choice and plan.

He already knew what will happen and how it will happen. In fact, in 1 Peter 1, we read that the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, was chosen before the foundation of the world. That means even before sin came into this world, the Lamb was chosen before the foundation of the world. I don't understand that. Do you? In fact, the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, in John chapter 17, he was speaking about the love relationship that he had with God the Father before the foundation of the world. So the believers were chosen before the foundation of the world. The lamb was foreordained before the foundation of the world.

And the love relationship between the Godhead, the person of the Godhead, according to John 17, 29, was ever there before the foundation of the world. That tells us that the eternal God, in his wisdom and purposes, have done as he pleased, although you and I, don't quite understand everything, but we accept it on the basis of the written word of God. So predestination, meaning in eternity past, God has chosen us. Then, notice he says, whosoever he predestined, then he also called. Now read with me a verse in 2 Thessalonians 2. 13 and 14 we do read notice that but we are bound to give thanks always to God for you brethren beloved of the Lord because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation and through sanctification of the Spirit unto belief in the truth God have already chosen you unto salvation and then verse 14 where unto he called you by our gospel So God who predestined and who have chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world, he also called us in time to hear the message of the gospel with the intention that we will be redeemed.

Now go figure this out. These truths are there in the word of God and we are not going to tell God what to do. And how to do when to do who has been his counselor have you have i that's what we learn here but thirdly we find out that we now not only that he have whosoever he predestinated them he also called whomsoever he called them he justified again go back to Roman chapter 3 with me for one more verse there in Roman chapter 3 there we read in verse 23 and 24 there we read listen to this for all have seen and come short of the glory of God and then it said being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus now he justified a moment we have accepted the Lord Jesus justified freely freely through the redemption that is in the Mashiach Yeshua and finally.

Whomsoever he predestinated them, he also called whomsoever he called them, he also justified. Whomsoever he justified them, he also glorified. And then final verse for this meeting is in John chapter 17, where the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach, he's praying, he's speaking to God the Father. And we read in chapter 17, in verse 22, we read in verse 22, I'll read verse 21, that they all may be one as thou father are in me and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou has sent me. And verse 22 said, and the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them that they may be one even as we are one.

Thou gave me i have already given unto them as far as God is concerned he has already glorified them that belong to the Lord Jesus temassai well beloved brothers and sisters the creation is groaning the believers are groaning the holy Spirit of God is groaning on our behalf and the holy Spirit of God is helping us to be assured that we belong to the Lord and whenever we go through exercises and challenges he's taking our prayers and presenting it before God even though we cannot utter we cannot speak he's presenting it before God the father on our behalf well our God and our father thank you for the for your word bless your word to us all we pray in the name of Yeshua Jesus the Messiah Amen Amen God bless you my dear friend until the next time we say shalom Come on.
