Well, we want to say shalom to everyone. God bless you. Welcome to the Bible Classes of the Holy Scriptures in Israel, where we do study the Word of God from a Hebrew messianic perspective, first century messianic perspective. And we're singing this song, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, And all these things shall be added unto you. And we also are thinking of that word, the man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord. Thank God that we have the Bible in our hands. We have the Spirit of God in our hearts.

And as we learn from the Word of God together, we can grow in the grace and in the knowledge of Yeshua. Jesus, our Lord and our Messiah. Well, we are going to continue with the study of the book of Romans, Romans chapter 5. I hope you have your Bibles with you and please let us turn to Romans chapter 5. But before we will begin with the reading, let's ask for the Lord's blessing for this meeting. So our God and our Father, we ask your blessing upon us as we are studying together in the book of Romans. Ask it in Yeshua's name, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So, beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends, let's turn to Romans chapter 5, and we are going to continue with the reading today with verse 5 of Romans chapter 5.

We have covered the first I will read from verse 1, but our study is really beginning from Romans chapter 5 and verse 5. So I'm reading from verse 1. Paul writes and he says, in hope of the glory of God, and not only so, but with glory in tribulation also, knowing that tribulation worketh patience, and patience experience, and experience hope. And hope make us not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ. Died for the ungodly for scarcely for righteous men will one die yet pre-adventure for a good man some would even dare to die but God commanded his love towards us that while we were yet sinners Christ Mashiach died for us much more than being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him.

For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, how much more? Being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we glory, not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have now received the atonement or the reconciliation and you know what I will stop here for this meeting for now and I would like us to understand what we really have before us beloved brothers and sisters in this portion of Scripture. Study of Romans chapter 5 we mentioned that in Romans chapter 5 verses 1 to 11 we have the blessing that accompany the justification that we have received through faith in the person of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah.

We have also mentioned in the beginning of the study of Romans chapter 5 that in this very 12 to the end of the chapter the apostle Paul presents the basis upon which we receive justification. So we have the blessing that accompany our justification and the basis upon which we received our justification. And what is the meaning of the word justified? By God righteous. After all, beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends, the whole theme of the book of Romans is found in Romans chapter 1 verses 16 and 17, for I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Messiah, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first and also unto the Greek.

And notice that verse 17, it says, Notice, for therein the righteousness of God revealed from faith unto faith, as it is written, the just shall live by faith. Notice that, for therein, in the gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith unto faith. And that's righteousness of God. Messiah the believer in the gospel of Christ the gospel of Mashiach is reckoned by God as just because Yeshua Jesus the Lord died was buried rose again for our justification and therefore every true believer is justified so in We have here the description of the blessing that accompany our justification, but also the basis of our justification. We will learn this as we are moving along in the fifth chapter of the book of Romans.

So also just to remind you from our previous meeting that in chapter 5, the apostle Paul is really explained to the Roman believers the last two words that are found in Romans chapter 4. What are the last two words that are found in Romans chapter 4? Our justification. Our justification. Now he's explaining this in chapter 5 by presenting before us, beloved brothers and sisters, Romans chapter 5 and verses 1 to the end of the chapter. Now, also to remember that we have covered already chapter 4, where the Apostle Paul went back before even the law was given to Israel, all the way to Abraham our father. Israel as well but remember what we read about Abraham and Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

You and I believe God today is through the person and the finished work of the Lord Jesus the Messiah and it is counted unto us for righteousness. So now let's look back in chapter 5 over the sevenfold blessings that accompany our justification. We've already covered four out of the seven. We have already, I'll mention them one more time, therefore being justified, verse one, by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Number one, we have shalom, peace with God. Shalom, peace, irene in the Greek, shalom in the Hebrew, and peace in the English language. We have peace with God. And the peace the shalom that we have with God it is through our Lord Jesus the Messiah secondly in verse 2 the second benefit is that we have access to the presence of God and we read in verse 2 by whom this is by Jesus Christ by Yeshua the Messiah also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand now we have access we can enter into the presence of God and we can enter in without any hindrances let us draw nigh through the Messiah the book of Hebrews tell us this you remember that Israel had limitation because the Mashiach hasn't come as yet and therefore there was a veil in the Holy between the Holy and the Holy of Holies between the Kodesh and Kodesh HaKodeshim there was a veil that veil was.

Rented when the Lord Yeshua the Messiah died and and once he died and he was buried and he rose again the veil was rented from the top to the bottom and the the entrance into the holy of holies now is available because the Mashiach Christ fulfilled the work of redemption satisfied a holy and a righteous God fully and we have access to the presence of God thirdly we have also covered in our previous week we also have a glorious hope verse 2b it says and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God we have a shoe hope it's not I hope so maybe yes and maybe no no it is a shoe hope and a shoe hope is available us because of the finished work of the Lord Jesus the Messiah because he satisfied God he met the need for us who are sinners by nature God who is holy have been satisfied now we have a sure hope and we mentioned that in a previous meeting it is called by Titus in chapter 2 and verse 13 the blessed hope.

The sure blessed hope of the believer that we are going to be for eternity with the Lord we will never be separated from our Lord Yeshua Jesus the Messiah this is an amazing assurance that we have if a person does not have a relationship with God he has no hope Then fourthly, beloved brothers and sisters, we have also covered in our previous meeting, verses 3 and 4, the fourth benefit of our justification that the Apostle Paul is emphasizing here in chapter 5 of the book of Roman is godly character. This is another benefit. You see, we were ungodly by nature. We are ungodly by nature. So God left us here in this world, although we are already suitable for heaven, but God left us here in this world for a purpose.

Why? Godly character in the life of his own people. Sometimes difficult times that come into our life helps us to develop a Godly character. And so verses 3 and 4 we read, and not only so, but we glow in tribulation. Why? We glow in tribulation also. Why? Knowing that tribulation work is patient, and patient experience and experience hope. Notice, tribulation, patience, hope. Hope, tribulation, patience, and hope. What happens when we go through trouble, when we go through tribulation, through trial? According to Peter, the trial of your faith is much more precious than of gold. In other words, the tribulation that the believers are experiencing in their lives only develop godly character.

Now, naturally speaking, we don't want tribulation in our life, this that even though we have trials and tribulation it helps us to develop godly character and godly character is one of the things that is in the godly character is patience tribulation develop patience in our lives beloved brothers and sisters and patience it causes us to long for the time in which we are going to be with the Lord and they show hope to desire the time that we are going to be with the Lord. And so the apostle Shaul Paul showing to the Roman believers the blessings that accompany the salvation of those that are belong to the Lord Jesus the Messiah.

Now from verse 5 on to verse 11. Paul gives us an additional three benefits that accompany the salvation that we have. Notice now in verses 5 and 6 and 7 and 8, we learn that another benefit that we have is that we have the love of God not as shed abroad in our hearts. Placed in our hearts and it's shed abroad as we exhibit here in this world to others what happened to us and so notice what he says here in verses five six seven and eight hope make us not ashamed why because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Spirit which is given unto us you see what happened beloved brothers and sisters God gave us the person of the Holy Spirit of God as a down payment, as we might say as one that will be our paracletos, our helper, and the Holy Spirit of God remind us again and again and again and again of the love of God.

You see why? Because if we live here in this world, and we do. Take us home whether through the rapture of the assembly of the ecclesia or whether through the process of death that it is for the believer is sleeping in and through Yeshua through Jesus well he still gave us the person of the holy Spirit of God to indwell us God the holy Spirit of God he's indwelling every believer and he is the one that God that is shed abroad in our hearts by, notice then, by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us. Now remember these, brothers and sisters, in order for one to be reckoned as born again, born from above, he or she must first of all believe in the person and in the work of Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, but also, brothers and sisters, when they.

Believe the evidence, the token of their salvation is that they have received the Holy Spirit of God into their hearts, and now a divine person is indwelling in the believer. Imagine, imagine that God had given to us the person of his Son to die for us in, but also the person of the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in us in our hearts and when the person of the Holy Spirit of God is indwelling in us he reminds us again and again that we are loved by God although sometimes brothers and sisters we can get so discouraged because of persecution and discouragement and disappointment and sadness and problems that comes into our life all of us has that is given unto us and he is the paracletos the one that comes alongside and he is the one that reminds us again and again of the love of God impressing it upon our hearts that we are loved by God and we can share this with others of the love of God towards men a kind.

Now, just to emphasize that for a moment, if you go back to the Gospel of John with me, I want to just remind you that the Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, said it about the person of the Holy Spirit of God before he died. In the upper room, in the city of Jerusalem, he said it to his disciples in chapter 14 and verse 16, another comforter in Hebrew it says menachem one that will will give you comfort will will comfort you that he may abide with you forever even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it is it seeth him not neither knoweth him but ye know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you He said it already before He died.

So when the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, was with the disciples, He comforted them. But after He had gone to heaven via the shameful cross, the altar, after He died and was buried and rose again and was ascended to heaven, He sent the person of the Holy Spirit of God. Every true believer is possessed by the Holy Spirit of God, a divine person. This is amazing when you really think about it. Yeshua emphasized it also in chapter 15 of John and in chapter 16 of John, but it suffice for us to read John 14 verses 16 and 17. Chapter 8 and verse 9 he said to the to the believers at Rome he says but you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit since so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you you see you are no longer in the flesh you are in the Spirit because the Holy Spirit of God is dwelling in you and then he says in verse 9b now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ He is none of His.

In other words, only true, born from above believers have the Holy Spirit of God indwelling them. And what is the ministry of the Holy Spirit of God? The ministry of the Holy Spirit of God is to impress upon our hearts every moment of the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts. By the holy Spirit of God which is given unto you i'm reading again verse 5 of Romans 5 verse 5 and hope make us not ashamed because again the love of God is shared abroad in our hearts by the holy Spirit which is not as given unto us it is so beautiful beloved brothers and sisters to see that very very precious to see that beloved brother and sisters and i think it is such an encouragement to us all as we are reading these portions of the word of God now again if you just for a moment go back to the eighth chapter as i read in Romans chapter 8 and verse 9 if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he is none of his but if you notice if you go a little bit further towards the end of the.

Chapter Roman chapter 8 we'll get to it later on in the will of the Lord but you notice how the apostle Paul is emphasizing there of the love of God the love of God notice verse 35 of Romans 8 who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation distress persecution famine nakedness of peril or sword no That will not separate us from the love of the Messiah. In verse 37, he continued to say, Nay, in all these things we are more than conquered through Him that loved us. And he continued in verse 39, maybe I'll read verse 38 and 39, Any creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The love of God which is in the Messiah Jesus our Lord. So beloved brothers and sisters, what is accompanying salvation? In addition to peace with God, access to God, glorious hope, godly character, the fifth one is the love of God. God's love shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit of God. Beloved brothers and sisters, let us never forget that. Now, someone might say, because believers can be very much discouraged, So someone might say, you know what, wait a minute, maybe I can go out of that love of God, slip out of his fingers, or slip out of his hands, and his love will no longer be the same because I failed him here and there, and sometimes in everywhere.

And so Paul reminds them in the same text here, in Romans chapter 5, in verses 5 to 8. Hope maketh us not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the holy Spirit which is given unto us Paul continuing he says in verses notice five and now six and seven he says notice that he wanted the Roman believers to remember in verse six for when we were yet without strength in due time the Messiah died for the ungodly minute wait a minute don't forget that Christ the Mashiach he died for you already when you were without strength he didn't wait for you to come to even acknowledge him as your Lord and Savior long before we even came into this world for us today The love of the Messiah, verse 6, was already the death of the Messiah happened long before we even were born, as far as we are concerned.

But in the plan of God, in eternity past, God already said that He will send Christ, He will send His Son, the Messiah. World less somebody will say oh you know what God really loved me later on only when i became a believer no but in the plan of God we read in first Peter chapter one concerning the the Messiah that will come and he will shed his blood and will become the lamb of God he was foreordained before the foundation of the world Peter 1:20 but now was manifested in this last time for you and for me and for us. In other words, don't forget this for a moment when you feel sometimes that you failed God as a believer, that you didn't quite rise to his expectation, not that we should not seek to please the Lord, but always to remember that the love of God ought to be with the.

Help of the Spirit of God impressed upon our hearts by the holy Spirit of God to remind us beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends that the Messiah Yeshua Jesus he died for our sins long before when we were yet notice it says here verse 6 we were without any strength in other words in in when we were alienated yet when we were in a state of unbelievers God already had this plan to provide the Messiah out of his love for the human race you know sometimes we sing amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me not a perfect one like me but a wretch like me we were without any hope we were we were sinners by nature.

And here the love of God had been shed abroad now after he had redeemed us and saved us. And he did so on a basis of the plan that he had and his love for us. And now the benefit of our salvation is not only peace with God, access to God, glorious hope, godly character to develop here, but also the love of God shed abroad in our hearts is another benefit that we have. Sometimes you feel so discouraged, and we do a time field, and we feel as if nobody cares. And nobody loves me. Here we have the assurance that there is someone that is impressing upon your heart.

It's shed abroad in your heart. It's not only shed abroad to everyone else, but it's shed abroad in your heart. Shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit of God. That God loves us. And He proved it when the Messiah died for us. Is there any greater love than this? And that's why notice in the next two verses, after He said that the Messiah died for us when we were without strength in verse 6, In verses 7 and 8, the Apostle Paul continued to impress us and to remind us when we are forgetful and discouraged and disappointed in ourselves and in others and in the world around us.

He is telling in verses 7 and 8 that the Messiah died for us even when we were yet in a state of sinners. Listen to this. Verses 7 and 8, "For scarcely for a righteous man will one die." You know, one might say, "Listen, here's a man, he's a good man, a good woman, a righteous person. I'm willing to die for him. I'm willing to die for her." Yet pre-adventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But verse 8 tells us, "But God commanded his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ Mashiach died for us this is amazing beloved brothers and sisters you see when Yeshua died when Jesus the Messiah died he didn't die for people who were righteous He didn't die for people, as it says, who were good people.

Well, to remind you that David said to Israel, our people, years ago, there's no good, not even one. He says, not even you, not even me. Because we have all inherited the same nature, beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends. Whoever listened to this message, we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We have violated God's command. We have fallen into a sinful condition. And all of us, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are all fallen creatures. We are all sinners by nature. Is beyond measure. God's love is without limitation. It had been proven when He, in the person of the Son, took union humanity with His divine nature and as a man lived a perfect life here for 33, 33 and a half years, this is Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah, and then laid down his life for our justification, to declare us just, paid for our sins when he died and he became the substitute, the sacrifice, the supreme sacrifice.

This is the promised Messiah of Israel and the Savior of this world who died for sinners like you and I. Benefit of our justification this is the fifth benefit not only peace with God not only access to God not only glorious hope in God's promises not only godly character in our life but also the love of God shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit of God and it is emphasizing is that in due time Christ died for us and that while we were yet sinners, the Messiah died for us. He didn't wait for you and I to improve ourselves. He knew very well that we are unable to be improved because of our sin nature.

Can't fix it. Can't improve it. Died, He did away once and for all with this old sin nature. He gave us a divine nature, a new nature. We are born of the Spirit of God, which is now, as we read in verse 5, that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, which is given unto us. The Holy Spirit of God, a divine person. The way, that we have the whole three persons of the Godhead involved here. First of all, it is the love of God, God the Father. Secondly, it is the person of God the Holy Spirit that is indwelling us.

But thirdly, it is through God the Son, Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, who died as man for our justification. All triune God is involved with the salvation, but here in the context the benefits that accompany our salvation, our justification. Now just to emphasize one more time in verse 7, notice it says: "For scarcely for righteous men will one die." Are you righteous? Am I righteous, man or woman? Not at all. We are unrighteous by nature. He continued in the second half of verse 7. He said, yet pre-adventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Are you a good person? Am I a good person, a good man, a good woman?

Scripture says to us there is no good, not even one. There was only one, we should say, and that one was Yeshua from Natseret. The Lord Jesus the Messiah is the only one. It was good. Why? Because he was born to the virgin Miriam. There was no sin in him when he was born into this world. He is God and man in one. He lived a perfect life. He never sinned. Holy, harmless, undefiled, suffered from sinners. That's the man that came from heaven. That's the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of this world. And so, to be reminded that we have the Holy Spirit of God and He is the one that impressed upon our hearts the love of God.

So when you're discouraged, beloved friends, and dear brothers and sisters, when you look around and you say, well, nobody loves me. Don't forget that someone does love you, and his name is Yeshua, Jesus. And that all the three persons of the Godhead, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, HaAba, HaBen, HaRuach, HaRuach HaKodesh, all the three persons of the Godhead love you. One God, three persons within the Godhead love you. Heart in my heart if we are believers by the person of the Holy Spirit of God who is indwelling in the true believers in Yeshua Jesus the Messiah. Now let's move along to another two benefits that accompany our salvation that are found here in verses 9 to verse 11 and notice that because we are dealing with the blessings that we enjoy now that accompany our justification in the first 11 verses of Roman chapter 5 so blessing number six that accompany our justification is notice that is a salvation or deliverance from the future wrath of God that will be poured upon the face of this world and upon all unbelievers those who reject God Listen to these verses.

Now notice that he's using the word here much more in the book of Romans. This is actually the first time that the apostle Paul used the word much more in the book of Romans, but specifically in Romans chapter 5 beginning from verse 1. You will notice that we read. Him he continued in verse 10 for if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son notice the word much more being reconciled we shall be saved by his life later on and i'll just read that we read in verses 15 17 and 20 but not as the offense so also is the free gift Here's the word again, much more the grace of God and the gift by grace which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

In verse 17 of the same book, fifth chapter of the book of Romans, we do read, reign by one much more and notice that much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Yeshua the Messiah and then of course in verse 20 of Roman chapter 5 moreover the law entered that the offense might abound but where sin abound grace did much. All abound. And beloved brothers and sisters, the apostle Paul loved to use that word much more, these two words in English, much more, much more. He continued to use it in other passages in the book of Romans, Romans 11, 12, Romans 11, 24, including in the book of Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 6, 1 Corinthians 12, 2 Corinthians 3, 2 Corinthians 3 again, 2 Corinthians 8, and even in the book of Philippians chapter one, chapter two, and even in the book of Philemon.

Now it says in Philemon chapter one, verse 16, not known as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, especially to me, but now, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord. He's speaking about to Philemon, about Onesimus. Paul loved to you this word much more and much more much more what does he mean by that when he says much more he's building it's like a chain he's presenting before us like a chain of the blessing that accompany our justification and there is more and more and more and more and more you know I remember I heard a message of someone speaking about the the book of Romans and and the one of the preachers heard this and he mentioned that he said that when he shared the message of the gospel with someone and and he says listen if you will believe in the Lord Jesus the Messiah you will go to heaven you will go you have assurance in heaven and that person said to me you know i don't i don't care about what will happen in the future i want to know what will happen to me now what about what about here and now.

And then he gave him that list of the benefits that accompany now, in our lifetime, those that belong to Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah in heaven. And he gave him the sevenfold list of the blessings that accompany our salvation, our justification, peace with God, access to God, in God's godly character here in our life God's love shed abroad in our hearts and the future assurance from the deliverance from the wrath that is going to come in other words you will be spared from the judgment that is yet coming upon all those that refuse to accept the person of the Lord Yeshua Jesus the Messiah Notice what he's saying, and I'm reading verses 9 and 10.

Much more than being now justified, now justified, by his blood we shall be saved, saved from all, saved from the wrath through him. Now that wrath, beloved brothers and sisters, is the wrath of God's righteous indignation against sin. Because God is righteous and because God is holy, He must unleash His righteous indignation against sin. So He unleashed it upon the Messiah, Yeshua, when He died on the tree and He bore the wrath of God against sin on the cross, on the tree. And He bore it on our behalf. Us that have accepted God's provision. But those that refuse to accept God's provision, sadly, they will have to be eternally separated from God.

They will be eternally separated from God because God is a holy God and He cannot allow sin come into His presence. Sin has to be judged. Has to be poured upon sin and that's why the believers will be notice as it says in verse 9 the believers will be delivered the word for saved here delivered from wrath for the wrath to come now turn with me for a moment to Revelation chapter 20 in Revelation chapter 20 we have the great white throne judgment This is the final judgment that will be poured upon mankind who rejected the Messiah. And these are all those who rejected God's provision of salvation.

From the day that they were born, from the beginning of creation, we would say from the beginning of Adam, the messianic kingdom there will be a final judgment before the eternal order the eternal state will come notice what we read in Revelation chapter 20 and there we read in verse 11 and i saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whose faith the earth and the heavens fled away and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which are written in the books according to their works.

Verse 13, 14 and 15, it says, in them, and they were judged every man according to their works. Verse 14 and 15 tells us, And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. The final abode of all unregenerated individuals beginning from the days of Adam and Eve until the end of the messianic kingdom all those who died as unbelievers will be resurrected to stand before the Messiah and that's why it says here notice then it says here in our verses in verse in verse 12 I'll read verse 13.

And the sea gave up the dead. This is the body of all those who died which were in them. And then death and hell delivered up the dead. Even hell will bring out their dead. Those whose soul is in hell, they will bring up the souls and the body. And together, those unbelievers will be cast into the lake of fire, spirit, soul, and body. That's why it says in verse 14, death and hell were cast out into the lake of fire. Not only the body which will be resurrected to be standing before the judge, but also the soul will be reunited of the unbeliever to the body and will be cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death. Not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire so what we really learned from Revelation chapter 20 that even hell sheol hades is not the final abode of the unbelievers the final abode of the unbelievers is the lake of fire what a sad sad that the unregenerated, unbelievers, those who rejected God before the Messiah came, after the Messiah came, those who rejected God's offer of grace and salvation will end up to be separated from Him. And God loved the world. God is not willing that any should perish. But those who rejected Him, rejected the offer of salvation, in any dispensation they will end up to be separated from God and for us who are believers notice again we are back to our chapter beloved brothers and sisters Roman chapter 5 and verse 9 and 10 notice the deliverance from the future wrath of God much more than being now justified because we are justified through faith in the Lord Jesus the.

Messiah by his blood the blood of the Messiah that was shed he died because he died we are justified and we will be saved or delivered from the wrath through him we deserve to be separated from him we deserve because of our sin nature to be cast into the lake of fire but because of Yeshua Jesus the Messiah we are delivered from the wrath that is going yet to come it says in verse 10 for if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son much more being reconciled we shall be saved by his life now brothers and sisters again It is so sad when there are those who live with the fear of losing their salvation.

Our salvation is entirely dependent upon the finished work of the Messiah and not upon our performance. It is all in him. No one is able to pluck us out of my hand, Yeshua said. Given to them eternal life and they shall never perish this is for the believers in God the believers in Christ in a Mashiach and it is not because of what we have done but it is because of what he has done notice once again i'm reading much more being justified by his blood continuing we shall be saved from the wrath through him Verse 10, for if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his son, the Messiah, much more being reconciled we shall be saved by his life.

It is saved through him, it is his blood, and it is his life that redeem us, that save us, not our own, not because of anything that we have done. Eternal security, the benefit that accompany our salvation, the assurance that we have now, here and now, beloved brothers and sisters. Now quickly, let me just conclude here in verse 11. And in verse 11, beloved brothers and sisters, we have this seventh benefit of our salvation. Read and not only so but we also glory in God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received notice that the atonement another word is the reconciliation what is reconciliation reconciliation is that to be restored into Reconciliation is to be brought back into fellowship with God.

Remember that we were enemies of God because of sin, because men fail into sin. Adam when he killed the animal. The animal's blood atoned for Adam and Eve's soul. The animal's skin covered their nakedness. And from there on God is pointing every time to the Mashiach that he will come. The Deliverer will come. The Messiah will come. The Redeemer will come. Christos in the Greek is come from the Hebrew word Mashiach. The Anointed One will come. Came he once and for all removed the sins of the past and the sins of the future of all those that believe God and he settled them once and for all in fact the blood of Jesus Christ was sufficient enough for all sin that were here in this world but only the sinners who repent will benefit and avail themselves of what you have done for us and so now we have been brought we have been reconciled we have been reconciled that's the word that we have in verse 11 for if when we were enemies by the way you notice that that in these verses in verse 6 when we were without strength in verse 8 while we were yet sinners verse 10 when we were enemies notice without strength sinners and enemies that's what we are by nature.

But the Messiah died for those who were without strength. The Messiah died for those who were sinners. The Messiah died for those who were enemies. So when we were, verse 10, when we were enemies, we were reconciled by the death of his son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And notice that, verse 11, through our Lord Jesus the Messiah, by whom, by Christ, by the Messiah, we have received the atonement, the reconciliation. This is a very beautiful word, the reconciliation. The fact that we were brought back into a relationship with God, which we lost when Adam fell into sin. Verses in the book of 2nd Corinthians 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 and verses 18 and 19 verse 18 says 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 I'll read verse 17 18 and 19 2nd Corinthians 5 verses 17 18 and 19 therefore if any man be in Messiah in Christ He is a new creation.

All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God who has reconciled. Notice the word. Who has reconciled us to himself. By Jesus Christ. By Yeshua HaMashiach. And he has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. We are now called to share with others. And tell them, be ye reconciled to God. Don't stay away from God, come back to God, accept the provision of God. That's why it says in verse 19, to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespass unto them, and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. In other words, God, was in the Mashiach reconciling the world unto himself how did he do so when any from among the world believe on the person and the work of the Lord Jesus the Messiah God was no longer imputing their trespasses unto them and he committed unto us the word of reconciliation an exchange our sins were placed on the Messiah his righteousness was given unto us there was an exchange that happened he was punished because of our sins we were reckoned we were forgiven and and and justified because of his righteousness.

Have happened what an amazing lesson beloved brothers and sisters we learned from Romans chapter 5 verses 1 to 11 the seven full benefits that accompany our salvation peace with God access to God glorious hope in God godly character God's love shed abroad abroad in our hearts deliverance from the rest of God that is coming upon all unregenerated people and the reconciliation of God. These are the benefits that accompany our salvation already today, long even before we will go to be in the presence of God. What a wonderful truth to learn, beloved friend. I hope all of us can enjoy that because it gives us peace. It gives us shalom.

It gives us assurance. It gives us satisfaction. It gives us joy in our hearts. And I hope today, beloved friends, dear brothers and sisters, that you recognize what the Messiah Jesus has done for you, for me, and for all the world. May many come to know him as the Messiah, Lord, and Savior. I gather now, Father, thank you for your word. Thank you for the work of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, what he had done for us. Thank you for the peace, the Shalom that we have with God through our Lord Jesus the Messiah. Bless your word, we pray, for we ask it in Yeshua's name.
