Well, we say shalom to everyone. God bless you. Welcome to the meeting of the Holy Scriptures in Israel. Bible classes where we study the Word of God together. We enjoy the Word of God. We are occupied with the person of our Lord, Yeshua HaMashiach, the one who loved us gave Himself for us. It is wonderful to be able to open the Word of God and to be under the guidance of Ruach HaKodesh, Ruach HaElohim, the Holy Spirit of God as we study the Scriptures together. So we are in the book of Romans. We are in chapter 1. I hope you have your Bibles, the Word of God, the Brit HaChadasha, the new covenant with you.

And we will read, but before we will read from Romans chapter. One, we will pray together, ask the Lord to bless the meeting together. Abba, our Father, we ask your blessing upon us as we read your word in the book of Romans, for we ask it, Abba, in Yeshua's name. Amen. Amen. Well, dear brothers and sisters and dear friends, please turn with me to the book of Romans. We are in chapter 1. And in our previous meeting together, we have covered verses 18, 19, and 20 of Romans chapter 1. I would like to read from verse 21 to the end of the chapter today, and then to see how far we will get as we are moving along in the study of Romans chapter 1.

We read, because, Shaul Paul is writing to the Roman believers in the city of Rome, he says, because that when they, this is humanity, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imagination, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible men and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever Amen for this cause God gave them up unto vile affections for even their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust, one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemly, meat. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inverters of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who knowing the judgment of God. The day which commits such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

And I'm stopping here in this verse 32 of this interesting Romans chapter 1. Beloved brothers and sisters, really, one of the most important books in the Word of God, not to limit any others, But one of the most important books to learn from the Word of God is the book of Romans. As the apostle Shaul Paul was writing to the Roman believers in the city of Rome, he was seeking to establish the truth that is found in the Word of God throughout the history of humanity to show to the Roman believers the fact that all have sinned. The glory of God in chapter 1 2 and 3 up to verse 20 and that that God loved humanity and he provided salvation in chapter 3 verse 21 all the way to chapter 5 at the end of the chapter and that those that are saved that receive salvation they are called to live a life of sanctification as believers in chapter 6 verse 1 all the way to the end of chapter 8 in verse 39 and also that all believers during the church age must understand the sovereignty of God in relationship to his earthly people of Israel that God has not cast away his earthly people Israel but that Israel is in the present day they are blinded judicially and so in chapter 9 10 and 11 Paul presents before the believers at Rome and all believers in this present day age of the church age the sovereignty of God in relationship to his earthly people of Israel.

Chapter 9 their past history. Chapter 10 their present condition. Chapter 11 their future regeneration and restoration and blessing for his earthly people of Israel. Of chapter 16 of the book of Romans Shaul Paul is emphasizing that believers in the present day age of the assembly of the ecclesia of the church of the called out ones of the Kehillah the body of Messiah they are called to service they are to serve the Lord and his people in doing their lifetime here on earth and that is the emphasis that Shaul Paul emphasized in Romans 12:1 to the end of Romans chapter 16. So we have these five S's: Sin, Salvation, Sanctification, Sovereignty, Service.

Easy to remember as we study together the book of Romans. And of course we are only the beginning of the book of Romans in chapter 1 and in this section beloved brothers and sisters Paul after he presented himself to the Romans after he had provided for them the fact that he is an apostle that is called to be the apostle to the Gentiles in chapter 1 verse 18 all the way to chapter 3 verse 20 the apostle Paul is speaking you might say he's presenting the whole world. You might say bringing the whole world Jews and Gentiles alike and placing them before the living God in the court of God and showing to all that we are all guilty before the living God whether it is the pagan nations whether it is the moral person from among the nation whether it is the religious Jewish person from among the people of Israel the proof of a universal guilt is presented here in these chapter 1 2 and 3 of the book of Romans in other words you and I wherever you come from we are all part of a people that were born into this world that are sinners by nature and we all have a need of the salvation which God has provided for us through the person of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah well in chapter 1 verse 18 to verse 32 the court is in session and it is in relationship specifically in relationship to the pagan world the pagan nations of the world and in this.

Session you might say or section as well Romans 1 verse 18 to 32 he is dealing with that we might say the the pagan the those that have been worshiping idols and he's showing to them all the the condition of the Gentile pagan world and all of us came from there by nature really we all have come from from Adam and Eve, and we all are descendants of Adam and Eve initially, and we are all coming from that background, and we are all finding ourselves here presented before the Lord. So in verses 18, 19, and 20 of our first chapter here, the Apostle Shaul Paul is showing to us that God's wrath is upon all.

The word for wrath is mentioned so many times the Scripture because God's righteous indignation against sin and so notice that we have read this in verse 18 for the wrath of God notice that the wrath of God in Hebrew the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and all unrighteousness of men this is mankind who suppress who hold down the truth in. Righteousness. The human race know the truth, but they suppress it. They hold it down. They reject it. They turn away from it. They reject it. Then we read in verse 19 and 20, which we have already covered as well, and there it says that mankind know the truth of God inwardly in their conscience, called matzpun in the Hebrew campus matzpen and through creation in other words everybody no one in this universe whether he or she live in the bush in the city whether they're in the in the palace or whether they're on the street whoever mankind is whatever nation he or she are from they know the truth that there is a creator God They know it by virtue of the fact that God has revealed it to them by providing for them a conscience inwardly and creation outwardly.

So we read verses 19 and 20, because here is why the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, of the human being. Why? Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them. The conscience, for God showed it unto them. God gave us this buzzer, this conscience, this matzpun that every one of us know very well in our own conscience when we do wrong. All of us know in our own conscience that we are guilty before a living God. We have to give an account to the living God. Our conscience becomes seared like iron. That's why the word in the previous verse, they hold down the truth.

Mankind by nature suppress the truth. So if we suppress the truth, hold it down, conscience seems to not bother us because it's like iron and like really you might say it hardened. Our conscience is hardened and then we just say, well, God, I don't need to be accountable to you. Secondly, in verse 20, it says, For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen and being understood by the things which are made. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God is a creator of God. The heavens declare the glory of the Lord. Genesis chapter 1, the first verse of the Bible, of the Hebrew Scripture, is In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

That's why it says at the end of verse 20, so notice that the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly is seen everyone sees it being understood by the things which are made whatever God made notice even notice two things his eternal power God eternal power and God eternal Godhead God is a powerful God and God is a divine God is divinity that's amazing because no man could create such a world in which we live in the designer is unique he is out of this world he made a world by the by the word of his mouth and we have also mentioned beloved brothers and sisters that in John 1 in colossian 1 and in Hebrew 1 all the authors of the of the new covenant attributed creation to the person of the Lord.

All things were made by him. And without him nothing was made which was made. He is the Creator God. Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of God. And now notice that Paul continues to minister to the Roman believers. And in verses 21, 22, and 23, He is moving along by saying after he said that men, that people, that the human race is without excuse. When someone will have to stand before God one day, when the day will come, and one will have to stand before God because we are not going to live here forever in this world, there is a day coming, it is appointed unto man once to die, and when one will have to stand before the Lord, how he or she rejected willfully the Creator God, knowing in his or her conscience about him, knowing through creation in his or her conscience about God, the living God, and rejected him, they are without excuse.

Then it will be too late. That's why today, if you hear his voice, harden not your heart. Turn to Him, recognize God today. And so he's saying now, notice that in verse 21, 22, and 23, the human race, when they knew God in their conscience, in creation, through creation, they did not give God glory. You know, God deserved to be glorified. We have been brought into His creation. The human race is called to glorify God, to give him the glory that he deserves. And so notice in verse 21, the human mankind became vain in their imagination. It says, because when they knew God, they glorify him not as God, neither were thankful, but became, notice two things.

They became, number one, vain in their imagination. Number two, their foolish heart was darkened. In this context, it is a willful, vain imagination and a willful foolishness. Their foolish heart was darkened. When you don't give glory to God, not fill his or her heart with the living God, the heart becomes empty and needs to be filled, and mankind fills his or her heart with someone else, with something else. And this is exactly what happened, beloved brothers and sisters. Sin of disobedience that had its beginning in Gan Eden, the garden of delight, Adam violated the command of God and plunged the whole human race into sin as the federal head of the human race he plunged the whole race into that sinful state and you and I all of us are by nature sinners and we turn away from God and what happened here is unless we repent and turn to God what happened.

Is we become a man become vain in their imagination. And a foolish heart was darkened. By the way, that expression, imagination, if you turn back all the way to the book of Genesis, to Genesis chapter 6, you will notice already there in Genesis chapter 6, before God punished the world with the flood. Genesis chapter 6, And right there at the beginning of the chapter, it says in verse 5, notice that? Genesis chapter 6 and verse 5, it does say, listen to that, it says, was evil continuously now that expression imagination comes from the Hebrew word whatever come from the mind of man and the heart of man because of the sin of mankind because of the sin nature is not as dead the thought of his heart is only evil And it says in the English, continuously or continually, in the Hebrew it says, all the day long.

So when the Scripture declare us sinners because God says so, it's because the sin nature that we have causes us or shows or reveals that we have this, as it says. Here that the imagination of the thoughts of his heart or her heart or their heart is evil all the day long beloved brothers and sisters it is amazing to see what God has to say about the human race and this is what Paul Shaul Paul is seeking to emphasize the condition of us all by nature we were born in sin we like David says in sin did my mother conceive me we have inherited a sin nature that say to God God i want to do my own thing i don't want you in my life and yet God is appealing God sent the Mashiach the Messiah in love for the human race God has sent the beloved one to this world to provide salvation.

But this was already what we have in Roman run takes us all the way to the early days of the creation of Adam and Eve where sin came into this world and that's why notice that if we reading once again verse 21 because when they knew God they knew God and God revealed himself we all men know that there is a living God that we are accountable to mankind by nature do not glorify the Creator God so what happened it says here they were not thankful but they became empty remember the word vain remember in the book of Ecclesiastes where Shlomo says vanity of vanity all is vanity empty so when the heart is empty and the mind is empty from a relationship to the living God, one began to fill it up with something else.

So introducing for themselves other gods, introducing for themselves that which they want for themselves. And that's why it says here in this verse 21, they became foolish. Their foolish heart was darkened. That word for foolish, it's not only foolish in a sense of, well, I'm not as smart as another person, but that is willful foolishness. You remember, if you turn with me to Psalm 14, Psalm 14, we read, listen to what the psalmist of Israel said in Psalm 14. David said in this Psalm to the chief musician of Psalm of David, the first verse in the English, in the Hebrew is the second verse, it says the fool has said in his heart, the word for fool here in Psalm 14, 1, the Hebrew word is naval.

It's not only, there are two words, they are tipesh, tipesh is someone who just doesn't have an understanding. Willful fool and he or she are willfully in an evil way rejecting God and here David says the fool the evil one said in his heart or said in her heart there is no God God no I do not want you in my life They are corrupted. They have done abominable works. There is none that doeth good. This is a description that David presents in Psalm 14 about the whole human race, including you and I, by nature. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

Verse 3, they are all gone aside. They are all together become filthy. There is none that doeth good, no, not one, no, not you, no, not me. All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So, beloved brothers and sisters, when Paul is writing in verse 21, 22, and 23, he's building up upon the fact to show that when the nation, world entering into the court of God and God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of mankind here are the reasons there's a reason you know sometimes we don't like to speak about judgments we like to hear about the love of God the grace of God the goodness of God the mercy of God the chesed of God the kindness of God which is wonderful we need that we love that we enjoy it we desire that but there is also the wrath of God God's righteous indignation against sin because we have all sinned and turned away from the Lord that's why we are called by the Lord to turn to him to turn to the Lord Jesus the Messiah.

That turned to the word of God and so here is this wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of mankind and here is the reason verse 21 because when they knew God they glorified him not as God neither were thankful but became vain in their imagination and their foolish hearts was darkened God, the heart and the mind become darker. Satan, the God of this world, is seeking to draw away mankind after him. That's why he beguiled Eve already in the Garden of Eden. And so notice that as we are moving along, so mankind became vain in their imagination. 22 mankind became fools and here it says here they professed themselves to be wise verse 22 but they became fools you know with all the wisdom that men think that he or she has rejecting God they became fools turn with me to first 18 the apostle Paul who wrote to the Corinthian believers and he's emphasizing there the gospel he said to the Corinthians concerning the message of the gospel and he's saying they were believers of course their spiritual state was very poor but when he shared with them the the truth concerning the gospel and how they're being brought into a salvation on the basis of the work of Yeshua the Messiah, Paul said to them in 1 Corinthians 1:18, "For the preaching of the gospel is to them that perish, namely to the unbelievers, to those who reject God, it is foolishness." To the world when we share the message of the gospel concerning the person of Yeshua Jesus the Messiah and we say to others, "Listen, we have all seen God in love for us.

Jesus the Messiah his son who entered into this world as man and he died for the sin of this world he paid for your sins and mine for the world had become foolishness because the human race in general think that we are wiser than God that we know better than God and so Shaul Paul is saying to them for the preaching of the cross the cross had to do with the Messiah's death To them that are perishing foolishness, but unto us that are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? Paul is saying to the Corinthians. Wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe the Jews require a sign but the Greeks seek after wisdom but we preach Mashiach Messiah Christ christus Messiah crucified unto the Jews stumbling block and unto the Greeks foolishness you see beloved brothers and sisters and dear friend what what Paul is saying in our chapter Roman 1 verse 21 and 22 professing themselves to be wise they became fools you remember what Shlomo says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom on the other hand the fool says in his heart God?

No. I don't want you in my life. And here's the reason why the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of mankind who hold the truth in unrighteousness. And so notice in verse 22 what happened. Look how down and further down and further down the human race getting further. Further and further when they did not want God in their life and so verse 22 tells us listen listen to what this verse it says and they change the glory of the uncorruptible God they change it into an image made like unto corruptible and they tell you men and to birds and to four-footed beasts and to creeping things.

In other words, if you don't want to worship the true and living God, the Creator God, of whom we read in Genesis 1, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, when a human race fell into sin through the federal head Adam, and carrying on and not turning to God and confessing one's sins and repenting and accepting the provision of God if one does not do so he has to create a God with a small g for himself for herself so notice what we read as we have just read it in verse 23 the mankind the human race change notice that the glory of God into images change the glory of the uncorrupted.

God, unchanging God, the living God into an image. An image made like unto a corruptible human being, men or birds, beasts, creeping things. It is very interesting how over the years, we know it from history, to be God many men in human history some of them we know for example Antiochus epiphanies in the days in 168 BC when he claimed to be God he wanted our people of Israel to worship him and he put an image in the temple in Yerushalayim he desecrated the temple that's how the feast of Hanukkah came to be. We know also from the word of God that in the future day there will rise another man called the Antichrist, the counterfeit Messiah, according to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, who will claim to be God.

He will want to, he will sit in the temple, he will claim to be God. In fact, let's just read for a moment this verse in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and chapter 3. Just let's read this verse so we can see that. 2 where it says listen in verse 3 let no man deceive you by any means for that day will not come except there shall be a falling away first and that men of sin be revealed the son of perdition who opposes and exalted himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he listen to this verse 4 that he as God sitting, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

That's the false Messiah, Mashiach Sheker, the count of the Messiah in the tribulation period. But throughout the ages, the Caesars claimed to be God. And throughout, even Nebuchadnezzar, wanted to take the place of God. In fact Satan himself, Lucifer, sought to take the place of God. And what happened? Because of sin and departure from God, men who do not refuse to accept God, the human race who refuse to accept the true and living God. God reveals to all through creation, through the conscience, but they simply did not glorify God and they changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible, and then we give you that list, men or corruptible birds or corruptible beasts or corruptible creeping things.

The book of Deuteronomy chapter 4 in Deuteronomy chapter 4 God gave this warning to the people of Israel in chapter 4 and chapter 5 to his own people he said to them in verse 15 Deuteronomy chapter 4 and verse 15 fire lest ye corrupt yourselves and make your your graven image the similitude of any figure the likeness of male or female the likeness of any beast that is on the earth the likeness of any winged fowl that filleth that flies in the air verse 18 the likeness of anything that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth. And lest thou lift up thine eyes into heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the hosts of heaven should be driven to worship them and serve them which the Lord thy God has divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

Has taken you and brought you forth out of the iron of a furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance as ye are this day. Beloved brothers and sisters, this is exactly why God has chosen a nation for himself out of the world. When Israel was chosen, Israel was called to separate from that, not to have any gods made out of wood or gold or silver or stone but you know what Israel failed the very same day when they received the Torah down from Mount Sinai already there if you remember in the book of Exodus Israel failed in chapter 32 and they have already there made themselves golden calf God which brought you out of the land of Egypt so beloved brothers and sisters it shows us the capability of the human race when mankind reject the living God and we all came from there and God have opened our eyes and our hearts to show us that we need the living God the creator God.

The sustainer of all things the one who sent the Mashiach down to this world to provide for us salvation so in these verses 21 22 and 23 Paul shows to the Romans believers why the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men When they knew God, they did not glorify God. This is the sin of mankind. There are many other verses that we can read, but I will not read this for now. And notice that it is kind of interesting. I made a note for myself. No wonder why even when we buy vehicles today, you notice that many of the vehicles have names.

Of animals and sometimes our vehicles becoming gods to us like impala or cougar or a jaguar or a mustang or even pinto or greyhound all these names of animals that we give to vehicles that shows us many times even things that we have become for us as gods no wonder John said in 1st John chapter 5 at the end of his letter the first letter John said to the believers who are already born of the Holy Spirit of God he said to them at the last verse 1st John 5 verse 21 little children keep yourself from idols and he closed the epistle. The word Amen the same warning that was given to Israel concerning not to have idols in their life is the same warning that is giving to the assembly to be careful not to have idols in our life because we have this sin nature although we are born of the holy Spirit of God but there is an inclination because of our sin nature to make idols for ourselves here in this world God wants his own people to be occupied with him but here in the context of our chapter chapter 1 verses 18 to 32 the court is in session the apostle presents before us the sin of the pagan Gentile world and he shows that all the world is guilty before God here in this context it's the pagan nations of the world now notice in verse 24 we continue on in verse 24, 25, 26, and 27.

In these next verses, we find the next point that the Apostle Shaul Paul is emphasizing, the fact that mankind who knew God, notice they changed the truth into a lie. Isn't it amazing? Listen to the news and we listen to this expression called the fake news lie taking white call it black black call it white right calling wrong wrong calling right this is nothing new it already began long long time ago since the fall of man mankind fall of Adam and Eve fake news false changing the truth into a lie and so here notice in these verses verses 24 25 26 and 27 Shaul Paul emphasizing the dishonor that mankind have done by changing the truth that he or she know into a lie and what happened promiscuity there is immorality that is evident that they've already began in days of all and is evident in in our days as well and so in verse 24 mankind dishonor their own bodies notice what he does is it's interesting to see how much a sexuality is involved in this it's one of the first things.

That seems to be presented before us in verse 24 Paul is saying number one he says when not as wherefore God gave them up to not as uncleanness in other words God says okay you're rejecting me you do not want me to be your God you want to carry your own way you God you didn't glorify God as who he is then you notice you were unthankful you became vain empty in your imagination and your your foolish heart become darkened and so here's what was the result in verse 24 wherefore God said okay he gave them up he gave mankind up to not as unclean notice, through the lust of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.

Here it has a reference to immorality that existed already, began already after the fall of Adam and Eve. And you notice here that the first thing we find out in verse 24 is immorality, sexual immorality. Just two verses that I want to read in 1 Corinthians chapter 6. 1 Corinthians chapter 6, Paul is writing to the Corinthians and he's saying to them in verse 18, he said to them, 1 Corinthians chapter 6 and verse 18, he says, commiteth fornication, sineth against his own body. Verse 19, what don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God.

You notice that? The Corinthians were called as believers because the Corinthians also live in this city that was filled with immorality. Idolatry, and they were bought with a prize. They became part of their local congregation in Corinth. They were born of the Holy Spirit of God. They were saved. They became believers, but they were in danger because they had this sin nature, like we all have this sin nature, always in danger for that. Turn to Ephesians chapter 4, another verse. In Ephesians chapter 4 and verses 18 and 19 then Paul said to the Ephesians believers in verse 18 I'll read verse 17 this I say therefore and testify in the Lord that he henceforth walk not as the Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind again notice it's connected with the mind exactly what we have in Romans chapter 1 In verse 18, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart.

You notice that, beloved brothers? It's just verse 19, who being past feeling, have given themselves over unto lasciviousness to work all uncleanness with greediness. He said to them, but ye have not so learned the Mashiach, Christ, the Messiah. So you can see the description that we have here in Romans 1 that the Apostle Paul is saying, you know, because of the rejection of God and God's ways, what happened? Because when they knew God and they glorified not God and they did not want to be thankful thankful for being their God, the Creator God, what the human race have done by nature, they became empty, their foolish heart became darkened, therefore they thought that they were wise, they became fools, and then God gave them over.

Go ahead. And what happened? They gave them over into uncleanest thoughts and lust of their own hearts dishonor their own body between themselves and getting further and further and further notice verse 25 what happened is not only that they dishonor their own bodies that men by nature dishonor their own bodies but also mankind worship the creature more than the creator. Change the truth of God. Here it is. According to these verses 24, 25, 26, and 27, the human race who knew God changed the truth into a lie. So they changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served who is blessed forever Amen in other words you see it is it is fascinating to see how because of our sin nature one is capable to worship a creature knowing that it is nothing but just a whether it is an idol or whether it is an animal or whether it is a a human being, or whether it is the sun, the moon, or the star, but changing the truth into a lie.

Instead of believing in the true and living God, according to these verses, especially verse 25, changing the truth of God into a lie. You remember Paul said, he will say later on, let God be true in every man, a liar. Learn here changing the truth of God into a lie and worship and serve the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever Amen again and the second time notice that in verse 26 and verse 27 once again you will notice that God gave them over notice again verse 26 because for this cause God gave them up you know God gave them up in other words he says if you do not want to submit to me, I will kind of release you to have your own will and you will see the consequences.

And here we go. We continue here in verse 26. For this cause God gave them up unto, notice, vile affections, for even their women, now notice that, beloved brothers, sisters even their women change their natural use into that which is against nature it is against nature God created male and female Adam and Eve this is the way God that's the truth of God it is evident you don't one does not need to go far to see that there is a. Male and there is a female and that God created men and then out of his side he built a woman to be to his as a help meet and together to form a husband and wife a family to have to bear children and to have a family that's the natural this is that which is natural for all of us to see here in this world but notice what we do read God by rejecting God by changing the glory of God the uncorruptible God into an image made like men and birds and beasts and creeping things God let the human race go on and see let's see where are you going to head up and you see what happened we can see that God this is the second time by the way the word God gave them.

God gave them up verse 26 notice it says to vile affection for even their women did change their natural use into that which is against nature it's just against nature a relationship a physical relationship a sexual relationship is between a husband and a wife that's the way God have established this in creation That's what the instruction that we have in the Word of God. But you see that the Scripture is so... Imagine, when Paul wrote this, it was around, what, 60 AD? And how up-to-date it is for us today. He continued, and I just want to get to verse 27. They have changed, the women changed their natural use into that which is against nature.

It says in verse 27, and likewise also men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burn in their lusts one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemingly, and receiving in themselves that recompense their error which was meat after all because the human race belong to the living God and God have established what is right and what is wrong God will ultimately will have to discipline that which is against him just before we'll close our meeting for today I have these verses that I want to read in in the book of Leviticus. Leviticus chapter 18. Leviticus chapter 18. Notice these verses. Verse 22. Leviticus chapter 18 and verse 22.

This is the word of the Lord. This is not the word of man. This is the word of the Lord. Leviticus chapter 18 and verse 22. Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind it is abomination. That's what the Scripture says. That's the word of the Lord. Very clear for us to see. Chapter 20. This is part of the law that God gave to Israel. Clearly tells us the guidance that the Lord had given his people. Verse 13 of Leviticus 20. If a man also lie with mankind as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blight shall be upon them.

This is under the law. It's the judgment of God. That God have instructed the people of Israel in the days of old. So you can see, beloved brothers and sisters, now turn to Deuteronomy also. One more verse, chapter 23. Deuteronomy chapter 23, and there we read in verse 17, there shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. And that, of course, in relationship to what happened in earlier days, in Abraham's days, of Sodom in Genesis chapter 19 that God had to judge the condition that existed in the city of Sodom but this is just to show us that this is the word of the Lord and it is against nature and that God has set this order in his word and you notice beloved brothers and sisters just one more verse before we close if you turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 6.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 6, one more time, the Corinthians came from a city in Corinth that was a city of idolatry and immorality. And yet God loved the Corinthians, just like he loved the Romans, just like he loved you and I. He knows we are by nature sinners and we need forgiveness, all of us, because we all have sinned in one. One form or another. And God had that which is natural in order that he will bless his own people. And so here we read in 1 Corinthians chapter 6 concerning the Corinthian believers in verses 9 and 10. He says, no effeminate, no abusing themselves with mankind, no thieves, no covetous, no drunken, no revilers, no extortionists shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Notice that? The list is both, is the sexual immorality, is homosexuality, there is all sort of things, thieves, covetous, drunkards, we are all part of this here. At the end, in verse 11, it says, you to the Corinthians the Corinthians some of them were also such and they became sons and daughters of the father by accepting Yeshua the Messiah being born of the holy Spirit of God and so beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends in these verses in Roman chapter 1 verse 21 to verse 27. The Apostle Paul emphasizes that the wrath of God came from heaven, revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

And here are the reasons. Number one, because men who knew God did not glorify God. Verse 21, 22, and 23. A lie and that's why the wrath of God came upon all ungodliness all unrighteousness that's why we are all included in that and it is only the grace of God that provided Yeshua Jesus the Messiah that provided for us forgiveness and salvation and so I'll stop here in verse 27 there are still the other verses to continue verse 28 to 32 and move forward to the next chapter that deals specifically with the sins of those who are morals they might not be in a condition of this we might say pagan world they might have a moral life but they needed to learn also that they are guilty in nature, although they seek to live moral in their life, their morality will not deal with their sin problem.

They need the Savior, the Lord Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah. So I will stop with this. Beloved friend, we thank the Lord for the opportunity to be under the sound of the Word. May the Lord bless His Word to you all, to us all. May the Lord help us to understand. And to accept it because this is the word of the Lord. And so, Abba, our Father, we just want to give you thanks for your precious word and above all, for the Messiah of Israel, the Savior of the world, Yeshua HaMashiach.
