We are going to read today in the book of the Revelation, and this time we are going to turn to Revelation chapter 6. I'm going to read the first 8 verses today, and we'll see if we can cover that. We can follow on from verse 9 to the end of the chapter, but let us just read Revelation chapter 6 verses 1 to 8. "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts, saying, 'Come.' And I saw and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast, or second living creature saying, 'Come.' And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that set thereon to make peace, or to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. And there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come.' And I beheld and law a black horse, and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creature say, 'A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny.' And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature say, 'Come.' And I looked and behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death and Hades, followed with him, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth.

To kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. I'm going to stop with this eighth verse for now, and we want to see how the Lord will lead us in this ministry meeting in the sixth chapter of the book of the Revelation. You remember, if you just turn back in your Bible to Revelation chapter 1, and let me read verse 19 again today, so we will get the scope, the understanding where we are in the book of Revelation. It says in verse 19, as John the Apostle who was taken to the island of Patmos in present-day Greece. And as he had received that vision from the glorified Messiah, Yeshua, who was in heaven.

And he had seen this vision, and he had seen the vision of Yeshua, the Messiah, there in glory, as the judge, as the one that was going to judge this universe, because of who he was, and because what he had done. And the Lord said to him through the angel, he said to him, verse 19, "Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter." The Lord has said to Yohanan, John, he says, "Listen, I want you to write the things which you have seen." That's the vision itself, chapter 1 of Revelation. The things which are, that's chapter 2 and chapter 3 of the Revelation, the church age, the assembly age.

And then the things which shall be hereafter, is from chapter 4 to the end of the book of the Revelation, the events that will occur later on. And so John, writing, he wrote chapter 1, this great vision of the glorified Messiah, Yeshua, in heaven. He wrote chapter 2 and chapter 3, the length of the church age, and how the church have been here in this world, from the time of the beginning of the church to the time of the rapture of the church. And then, if you remember, in our last two meetings, we have taken Revelation 4 and Revelation 5, and John is seeing something unique in heaven. And what does he see?

Chapter 4, a throne? And God the Father sitting on the throne? The 24 elders representing the church, saints who are in heaven? The four living creatures are those who maintain and present the holiness of God? And then, in the midst of the throne, he saw in chapter 5, the lamb as if he had been freshly slain. He saw the Messiah, as we read in chapter 5, and he looked to see what he was told. Look, he says, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, he had prevailed. He had prevailed what? To take the book that was in the hand of God, the Father, the scroll, which is the title deed to this earth.

John looks, and what does he see? In verse 6 of chapter 5, "I saw a lamb as if it had been freshly slain." He saw the Messiah, Yeshua, not like a lion now, not like a lion, but as a lamb that had been freshly slain. He just died. He paid a price. It says here, in verse 9, when they were singing this new song, they said, "You are worthy to take the scroll, to open the seals thereof, for you were slain, and you redeemed us unto God by your blood." And so John looks, and you see, the only one that was worthy to take this book from the hand of God, the Father, which is the title deed to this earth, and the only one that could take the book, to look upon the book, to open those seven seals that this book was sealed with, and now he is the one that have taken the book from the hand of God, and now he begins to open the seven seals.

Now, brothers and sisters, as Yeshua, the Messiah, took this scroll from the hand of God, the Father, because he was the only one that was worthy to open that book with the seven seals, in this book that contains those seven seals, we have, really, we have the whole rest remaining verses that are found in the book of the Revelation. From chapter 6, all the way to the 22nd chapter, we have in this scroll that was the title deed to this universe, we can see the events that will occur here on earth, and ultimately will bring us to the eternal state, to the eternal order, in which only the Messiah, Yeshua, could restore to God through judgment of this world, the right and ownership to this world, that have gone astray because of sin.

And if you remember when we have studied last time in chapter 5, we said that men, Adam and Eve were created in order to reign over this universe. God said, subdue this earth in chapter 1. Reign over this universe. But Adam and Eve have sinned. Adam have sinned by violating the word of God, and he lost the right to this universe. So God had to bring about another man. Not the man from the earthy, Adam, failing sinner, but the man from heaven. And that's why the Messiah, God the Son, when he entered humanity, he had to become a man like you and I, without sin. Sinless, perfect man, and he lived a perfect life, never sinned.

And he was judged because of the rest of the human race's sin. And when he was judged by God, he redeemed man unto himself. And he actually gained back the title deed, the right to this universe. And therefore, the only one that could be praised and worshipped is the one that was worthy. The lamb himself that was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. And now, he is the one that take the scroll from the hands of God the Father, and he began to open the seals. Now, another thing that we need to mention here, before we're going to begin to look at those seals that they are being opened, is that here, as the Messiah is beginning to open the seals, we can see that there is a reason why he started to open the seals now, is because of something that has happened, and from our point of view, something that will happen in a future day, when judgments are going to pour upon this world, but something has begun, or something has started to bring about the judgment one by one.

And for this, for a moment, I would like you to hold on in Revelation 6, and turn to Daniel 9, where we read today in our reading. And I want you to look with me just at a few verses in Daniel 9. Remember that the dealings of God in connection with this world is directly has to do with the nation of Israel. It is to Israel that he promised God that the Messiah will come. It is to Israel that God had promised that he will give them a kingdom, and a king that will reign over them. It is to Israel that God had promised a blessing. And it is through Israel that God had promised blessing to the nations of the world.

And so, God has shown us, through the prophet Daniel, that he is intending to restore the people of Israel to himself, but it is going to be by way of judgment, and by way of discipline. And so, we read here, in Daniel chapter 9, that Daniel was praying to God. And as he prayed to God, he is saying, he sees that the time of the 70 years of captivity in Babylon are just nearly over. And it says here in verse 20, while I was speaking and praying and confessing my sins and the sins of my people Israel. See, Daniel was confessing before God, and he says, God, we have sinned.

We, my people Israel and I have sinned before you. And we deserve the judgment that you have judged us. But here is the time is coming, God. And I want you to fulfill your promise in restoring Israel back to the promised land. So, then God sent to him Gavriel, the angel, which it says in verse 21, While I was speaking in prayer, the man Gavriel, whom I had seen in a vision, at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, he touched me about the time of the evening oblation. You find this Gavriel oftentimes is mentioned in the scripture. He is mentioned in the time of Daniel, but he also mentioned in the time of the birth of the Messiah, through his mother's Miriam.

And so Gavriel coming and he is speaking to Daniel, and look what he is saying to Daniel. He is saying to Daniel in verse 24, 70 weeks are determined upon your people. This is Israel. And your holy city, this is Jerusalem. 77, 70 weeks. These are 490 years. 70 times 7 is 490. The 7 here has to do with years. So 490 years, Daniel, are determined upon your people Israel and your city Yerushalayim. And then he says, what with those 490 years? What's going to happen in these 490 years? Look, there are 6 things that are going to have to be accomplished. Verse 24 at the middle. Number 1, to finish the transgression. Number 2, to make an end of sins.

Number 3, to make reconciliation. Number 4, to bring an everlasting righteousness. Number 5, to seal up the vision and prophecy. Number 6, to anoint the most holy. Either it means the temple or to anoint the Messiah himself, the anointed one. So Daniel, 490 years are going to be appointed for your people Israel in order to restore them back to God. And there will be 6 things that are going to have to happen in order for Israel to be restored. To finish the transgression. To make an end for sins. To make reconciliation for iniquity. To bring in an everlasting righteousness. And to seal up the vision and the prophecy. To bring it about.

And finally, to anoint the Holy One. So those 490 years will have to have a starting point. When are they going to start? Well, Daniel thought it will start from the time that he was there. And then, and it will end immediately. But apparently, God has given Daniel a division of these 490 years. They are not going to happen all at once. And so in verse 25, he says, Therefore, and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Yerushalayim, up to the Messiah, the Prince, there will be 7 weeks. This is 49 years. And then 3 score and 2 weeks. This is an additional 434 years. In other words, Daniel, I want to tell you that from the time that there will be a command to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, there will be 49 years plus 434 years together, 483 years.

And if you will look in the history of our people at the time of Nehemiah, when God have called to the people of Israel to go back and to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the city of Jerusalem, the starting of the 483 years has started at the time of Nehemiah going to rebuild the walls around the city of Yerushalayim. But then he's telling him, brothers and sisters, listen to this. He says up till the Messiah, the Prince, the Messiah Yeshua have come 483 years after the beginning of the rebuilding of the walls of the city of Jerusalem. And obviously there is some years to be accounted for.

And there are various Bible teachers that feel a little bit different. Some believe that it was from the call of Cyrus to Ezra. Others believe that it was a call of Nehemiah to go to rebuild the city of Jerusalem. But that is not the point what we are talking about today. It's not so much to find out years and dates here. I just want you to understand the beginning of the opening of the seals have started because of something that will happen in the future day here in this world. Look, it says in verse 26 now, and we are moving to the last two verses of Daniel 9.

In Daniel 9 verse 26, it says after the three scores and two weeks, in other words, after the time that will happen, the 483 in total, after this, the Messiah will be cut off. He will die. You remember 2,000 years ago when Yeshua, the Messiah came and introduced himself to our people Israel. And he was not received at his first coming by our own nation Israel. Ultimately, he was cut off in the midst of his life. And we read it in other places that how he died, and we know that he was crucified on a Roman cross, was not accepted by the nation of Israel, and ultimately was crucified on a Roman cross.

He was cut off, not for himself, but he died for you and for me, for anyone who will accept him as the Messiah and as his Lord and Savior. He died. He died. A shameful death he died. He was raised and lifted up on a Roman cross, and they mocked him, and they laughed at him, and they rejected him. And ultimately, God has laid upon him the iniquities of us all. And so we read. Now, notice this, brothers and sisters. After the death of the Messiah, in verse 26b, notice what it says. And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.

The people are the Romans. The prince that shall come is a descendant of the Roman Empire. You remember, we know that in 70 AD, Titus had destroyed the city of Jerusalem, burned the temple. In other words, the prince that shall come will be a Gentile that will come out of the Roman Empire in the future day. In verse 25, it says Messiah the prince. This is Yeshua. In verse 26, there is another prince that is mentioned here. And this prince that shall come is another title of the counterfeit Messiah. The false Messiah. Which we call him in the Bible the Antichrist in the Brit HaChadasha in the New Testament.

He is the false Messiah. He appears as if he is the Messiah. He gives an impression that he is Israel's Messiah. But actually, he is a counterfeit. He is a liar. He is tricking the nation. Tricking the world. Causing the world to seek to follow after him. Giving the assumption that he is the promised Messiah. He is called in the Bible in various ways. He is called the little horn in Daniel chapter 7 and verse 8. He is called the king of furious countenance in Daniel chapter 8 and verse 23. He is called the prince that shall come here in Daniel chapter 9 and verse 26. He is also called the desolator in Daniel chapter 9 and verse 27.

In the New Testament, the apostle Paul called him in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2, the man of sin. He is also called the son of perdition. In fact, he is called in the book of the Revelation, he is also called the beast. The chaya in Hebrew. Like an animal. The beast. He is the one that is rising to power in the beginning of the tribulation and ultimately will seek to take the place of the Messiah. And so what we find here, beloved brothers and sisters, look what it says here. Just quickly because we got to move on to Revelation chapter 6. And it says that in verse 26b, "And the end thereof shall be with the flood unto the end of war and desolation are determined." In other words, up to this point, they have happened.

Up to the time of the Messiah that have come, there were already 483 years have passed by. And the remaining seven more years in order to fulfill all the promises of God concerning the restoration of Israel and the end of this world in judgment. So the seven years that are missing here are still future. We have already, the 483 years have been done when these events have occurred. But now we are waiting for the future prince to come. And look what it says in verse 27 of Daniel chapter 9. And he, verse 27, this is the prince that shall come, the counterfeit Messiah, Mashiach Sheker, the false Messiah, he shall confirm a covenant with the many.

The many is the leaders of Israel, the Jewish leaders of Israel. He will make a covenant with them for how long? It says here in verse 27a, for one week. This is seven years. And so we learn from this that the beginning of the tribulation period will be when there will be a signing of the covenant between this beast, this prince that shall come and the many from among our nation Israel, where he is going to promise them that he will take care of the nation and he will watch of them and he will provide for them. And they will be without any problems because he is going to be the ruler, the king of this world who is going to take care of the nation of Israel and will straighten up all the problems that existing here in this world.

And I don't have to tell you that we can see how things are shifting today. And everyone is looking for one man ruler over this world. That he will fix the economic problem. He will fix the needs of every man here in this world. And that everyone will be so blessed and happy when this man is going to rise into power in the coming day. And that's why you can see all kind of countries are united together. You have the European Union together. You see, because the European Union are going to be united and they're going to have one great leader that is going to rise up in the coming days.

And you can see it all around the world where people are looking for a leader to come to lead this world and to get it out of all the problems that existing here in this world. And you know what they do? They reject the true leader and they are opening themselves to receive one that is a counterfeit Messiah. One that looks like real, but in actuality, he is the false Messiah, the false one that is rising up. So now please turn with me to Revelation, chapter 6, back to where we are. And in the first eight verses which we have read today, we see the first four seals that are being opened by Yeshua the Messiah, who opened the scroll and he began to open seal after seal to unravel, to show us what's going to happen in the coming days.

And what began this opening of the seals is the signing of the covenant in Daniel 9, verse 26 and 27. That's what began the tribulation period. You and I seen in heaven, the church is in heaven, we are not on earth anymore. The seals is being opened because the signing of the covenant with Israel had began. And look what happened as he opened one seal at a time. First of all, you notice verses one and two, it's the first seal is being opened. Look at this, it says, and I saw when the lamb, this is Yeshua, opened one of the seals. And I heard as it were noise of thunder, and one of the four beasts saying, Come.

And I saw and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. Here, brothers and sisters, what we see, this one that is sitting on a white horse is none else, but the counterfeit Messiah, the Antichrist. He sits on a white horse, he looks like very similar to Yeshua, the Messiah, of whom we read in Revelation chapter 19, that he also riding on the white horse coming from heaven. But here we see the one that looks like the Messiah. It says here that as the lamb opened, he said, I heard as it were noise of thunder, and one of the four beasts said, Come.

Now remember, those four beasts or four living creatures were angelic, the seraphim that were there by the throne of God. So the first one gave permission to this false Messiah to appear on earth. And he says to him, Come. Now I know you're saying, you read in your Bible, Come and see. It sounds like he's saying to John, John, you come and see. But actually, really, in various translation, it's really just using the word come. Not come and see, but come. And what does he say? He says, You come. In other words, he allows God to give permission through the seraphim to this man to rise up.

To take his place here and to begin to do what he intends to do, because ultimately God is intending to judge this false Messiah. And so, he's saying to him, Come, and so what John is seeing, he's seeing a white horse. And the one that sit on the horse had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went out conquering, and yet conquering. Now this is very, very interesting, because when you think of the color white, it speaks oftentimes of peace. It speaks oftentimes of purity. It speaks oftentimes of that which is easy and nice. And you see, the false Messiah, or the counterfeit Messiah, is rising up in such a way that he gives us false impression.

As if he is intending to come in in a very peaceful way. Oh, you see, ladies and gentlemen, he might say to this world in the coming day, and to our people, Israel of all, I will take care of you. Don't worry. I will fix your problem. I will protect you, and you're never going to have any war any longer in your whole life. I will take care of you. Let's make an agreement for seven years, Israel. There are many religious leaders of Israel who want to have a temple in Jerusalem, who want to have a sacrifice in Jerusalem, who want to be able to have an altar in Jerusalem, and a priesthood in Jerusalem.

They would be very happy to sign this agreement, because here we're going to have the temple, the sacrifice, the altar, the priesthood, and we will be able to offer sacrifices to the God of Israel. And somebody going to protect us, you see? So they signed the covenant with him. And he's coming in a very tricky way to appear as if he really concerned for the nation of Israel and for the nations of the world. And he's coming on a white horse. Notice it says here, the one that sat on him had a bow. But there's no arrow. Why do you need a bow if you don't have an arrow?

You see, he's coming, he has a bow, but you see, I'm not going to fight. I'm not intending to shoot any arrows, just a bow. And I'm going to take care of you, Israel, to take care of you, the nations of the world. He's coming with a bow, and he gives an assumption that he is the Messiah himself. Now, if you turn back for a moment to the Gospel of John, I want you to see something, what Yeshua said to the leaders of Israel, the leaders of our people, before Yeshua gone to heaven, before his death. He said in John chapter 5, Yeshua speaking to the leaders of Israel, and he said to them, he said in verse 43, he said, I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not.

But if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. You see, he knew it very well, as he's speaking to the leaders of our nation, Israel, knowing the blindness of the leaders, and not accepting that he was the true and the promised Messiah. He's saying to them, you know what? I came in my Father's name, and you did not receive me. But when another is going to come, in his very own name, him you are going to receive. And that is exactly what will happen when the start of the tribulation will happen. The signing of the covenant between this false leader of this world, who will be pretending to be caring for this universe.

He's assuming or taking the place of the true Messiah. He's going to make an agreement with our nation, Israel, and ultimately he's going to break this agreement in the middle of the seven years. But that's how it's going to start, dear brothers and sisters. He's giving a false impression that he is the Messiah. Turn also back to Matthew chapter 24 for a moment for another couple of verses there. Matthew 24. There we read, when Yeshua was speaking there to his own disciples in the Olivet Discourse. He said to them in verses 4 and 5, Yeshua answered and he said unto them, take heed, that no man will deceive you.

He was already telling them that there will be a deceiving that are going to happen in the tribulation period. And he said, you disciples, and of course he's going beyond the disciples, ultimately getting to the disciples or the believers of the tribulation period. In chapter 24 and 25 of the Gospel of Matthew. And he said, you better take heed that no one will deceive you. And then he says, for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah, and they shall deceive many. And that's, brothers and sisters, what we see here in the first seal that is being opened, in the white horse that is being presented, in the one that sits upon the horse with a bow without arrows.

That he is the false Messiah, the rise of the Antichrist to power. We can see how events are shifting here today in this world that lead us to this one that is going to come in the future day. The one that is called the prince that shall come, the desolator, the little horn, the king of fierce countenance, the man of sin, the son of perdition, the one that is called the beast in the Bible that come out of the sea. He is that false Messiah who pretend to be the Messiah Yeshua himself. And men will be deceived. They will be deceived because they did not have a love for the truth of the Word of God.

And deception is going to creep in, and he is coming in, taking the leadership in this world represented by the white horse that is going to bring peace and harmony. To this world. A wicked world that is entrenched by sin can never have peace without the prince of peace. One more verse, please allow me to read in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, please. If you turn there, because it is important for us to understand that in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, we read these words concerning that man that is rising in the coming days. It says there in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Verse 3. Verse 3. Let no man deceive you. Here is the thought of deception.

By any mean, for that day shall not come except there shall be falling away, and that man of sin be revealed. The son of perdition. The son of perdition. Who opposed and exalted himself above all that is called God. All that is worshipped. And that so he as God, sitting in the temple of God, showing himself to be God. Here is that one that is rising to power, deceiving those who are not submissive to the word of God. Look what it says in the next verses here, just in verse 9. He comes, listen, verse 8 at the end. And coming, even him, this is the Antichrist, whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, with all, verse 10, deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, and that they might be saved.

You see, the world will be ready for a false Messiah to rise, deceiving them, giving them the impression that he is the true Messiah. And many will follow him. And the nation of Israel will sign an agreement with him for seven years. I will take care of you, Israel. I know you had enough problems, all your history. I'm going to watch over you, Israel. I am going to take care of you. You see, Israel, you will be able to sacrifice. You will be able to worship the living God. You will have an atonement with blood sacrifice. You will have your priesthood. You will have your temple, Israel.

And brothers and sisters, if there is anything that our people desire today, you just have to go to Israel, and you can see that they are preparing for a temple to be built. The articles for the temple, the temple beginning to be built there, there is the lampstand, the menorah, there is many things that are being ready to be set in the temple. Only we need to build the temple. And so the first seal that is being opened by the Messiah is the rise to power of the Antichrist, the counterfeit Messiah, who will take the place that is not belongs to him. The place of Yeshua, the Messiah, who suffered for us and paid a penalty for our sin.

He will do it by deceit, and he will give an assumption that he is a peacemaker, who is going to unite the whole world to have one world government. And everybody is going to be united together. You got your religion, and I got my religion. Everybody is going to be united together. You see, he is going to unite everyone together, assuming to bring peace. But actually, he is getting ready to take by force what not belonged to him. And so look what has happened. He started giving an assumption of peace. This is the first seal. Look what happened as Yeshua opened the second seal in verses 3 and 4.

And when he, this is the Lamb, this is Yeshua, the Messiah, when he opened the second seal, look what we find. I heard the second beast say, come. And there went out another horse that was red. And power was given unto him that set their own to take peace from the earth. And that they should kill one another. And it was given unto him a great sword. Now look. When Yeshua, the Messiah, in glory, opening the seal, we are being taken down to earth. And we see events that occur here on earth in the beginning of the tribulation. The first seal was a white horse and the one pretending to be a leader that is going to bring peace to this world.

But it doesn't take too long that we find out that as the second seal is being opened, we see a war beginning here in the tribulation period. There will be more than one world war during the tribulation. Within the seven year tribulation period, there will be more than one war. You will see it as we study the book of the Revelation. But this is the first world war. But this is the first world war of the tribulation period. We find that he is now, he is riding no longer on a white horse. He is riding now on a red horse. Red often time in the Bible speaks of bloodshed.

Red often time speaks of the fact that there is a war to happen and there will be things that will happen that many will end up suffering and dying because of that. And you can see that here he is speaking about the first world war that is going to happen in the tribulation will be bloodshed that will happen here in this world. And it will be a satanic impact upon this world that he, this is the Antichrist, influenced by Satan, will cause a lot of bloodshed to happen here in this world. Turn to Revelation 12 for a moment in verse 3. In Revelation chapter 12 and verse 3 we read of this Satan himself that cast down to earth by God.

It says also about him, he is called the red dragon. Revelation 12 verse 3. And there appear another wonder in heaven and behold a great red dragon having seven heads, ten horns, seven crowns upon his head. And with his tail he drew a third part of the stars of heaven. And he was cast with them down to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman and so on. Look at this. He is called a red dragon. Why a red dragon? Because red speaks of blood. Red speaks of warfare. That's what he is intending to do in this world. To take a place here for himself in this world.

And so we find out that now is no longer peace. But war is going to happen here in this world. That's the first world war of the tribulation period. I mean from the time that I was born to this world up till today. When I was living in my homeland in Israel, in the city of Jerusalem, so many wars I've experienced since my youth, since my birth. So many wars that our people have experienced in the land of Israel. War after war after war. If it was not a near war, it was a far war. If it was a war with the internal war, with the Arab population.

It was with the enemies around the land of Israel, around the nation of Israel. There is constant war. And many lost their lives. Here, this false messiah sitting on a red horse. And it was given unto him to take away peace from this earth. See, in the beginning he assumed or he gave the impression that he gives peace to this earth. But no, beloved brothers and sisters, he takes away the peace from this earth. Allow me, please, to connect with it some passages so we will not just read these verses. In the prophet Amos, if you just turn to Amos in the Old Testament, I know we don't often turn to the book of Amos.

But there is a verse there in Amos chapter 5, in verse 18, 19, and 20, that has to do with this tribulation period. And the day of the Lord that God is speaking about in chapter 5 of Amos, in verse 18, 19, and 20, it says, As if a man did flee from a lion and a bear met him, or went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall and a serpent beat him. When God is taking us through the prophets to the future day of trouble, the tribulation period, it is a day of sorrows, a day of sufferings, a day of war, a sad day here in this world. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, the apostle Paul said this to the believers there in verses 1, 2, and 3.

He says to them, To understand what is going to happen here in the tribulation period, the day of the Lord. And so the second seal is being opened. And as the Messiah opening the second seal, we can see that false Messiah riding on a horse that is this time no more white, but is red. Removing peace from this earth. And then it says here that people will kill one another. And there was given unto him a great sword. In other words, he is going now to kill and to destroy and to harm all those that are standing in his way. In order that he will usurp the place that does not belong to him.

And so the next seal is being opened now in verses 5 and 6. And look what happened about the third seal. It says here in verses 5 and 6. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come. And he that sat on him had a pair of balances like a scale in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts saying, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny. And see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. You know what we learn here about the third seal? The third seal will show us that in the tribulation period, in the beginning of the tribulation period, the rise of the Antichrist to power, the removal of peace from this world and war killing one another, and the war led into a famine and a drought.

All of a sudden, there will be a scarcity of food. People will have shortage in food. And the cost of wheat and barley is going to rise. You know, we are oftentimes talking about how much money now we got to go to the grocery store to spend in order to buy what we used to buy for a dollar now costs two dollars. What we used to buy for a shekel now costs five shekels. Well, that's what's going to happen during the tribulation, beloved brothers and sisters. He's riding now on a black horse. And oftentimes in Scripture, black in the Bible oftentimes speaks of famine, of drought.

And people will need to do rationing. There will not be enough food in this world. And the cost of food, of barley and wheat, will rise up. Now, we are not in the tribulation period, thank God. And we live in a wonderful country that we have so much to be able to enjoy, to eat, and to enjoy, to feed. We don't even have any idea what it means to be in a time of a famine, when there is no food. But can you imagine what's going to happen in the tribulation? In the tribulation period, where all of a sudden, the prices will rise to such an extent, because there is famine in this world.

There is a time that there will be drought. You know who said that already? The Lord himself said it in Matthew, and I am again going back to Matthew chapter 24. Yeshua said in verse 7, look, anticipating the tribulation period, Yeshua said in Matthew 24 and verse 7, He said to the disciples, For nations shall rise against nations, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilence, and earthquakes, and in diverse places. The first thing he mentioned in this list is famine. There will be famine here in this world, where people are going to need to pay a higher price for the same quantity of food that earlier they used to buy it with a much lower price.

And so it says here that he had a balance in his hand. You notice verse 5? It says, Him that sat on that black horse had a balance in his hand. In other words, there is a scale. And in the olden time when you used to go to the market, you will have the scale in your hand, and you will put a certain amount of wheat or barley, and a certain amount of silver, or whatever the cost of the coins that you used to use years ago, and they would measure you, the measurement that you would receive for that amount of silver, or that amount of money that you would pay them, a penny, or so on.

So now they are measuring it. In verse 6, And I heard the voice in the midst of the four beasts say, Measure of wheat for a penny. And three measures of barley for a penny. In other words, what you could have buy for a penny long time before that, now you only get one measure of wheat. And three measures of barley for one penny. Now I don't want to go through, but if you read in Matthew chapter 20, that a penny is a price of a day labor. Now can you imagine you going to work the whole day, and you're only going to be able to buy with that one penny, that is a day wage for a person, to buy only one measure of wheat?

Or three measures of barley? You know how difficult it will be to survive at that time? And so, it says here that the cost will rise, there will be famine at that time. But you know, God still is gracious with men, because it says in verse 6, See, do not hurt the oil and the wine. The oil and wine are often used for a medicine. And God in His grace, is still extending His grace, even during the tribulation period, and He's saying, don't hurt the oil, don't hurt the wine. But the barley is going to rise up the price, the wheat price is going to rise up, but God still in extending grace, is still saying, don't hurt the oil and the wine.

So in the third seal, beloved brothers and sisters, we see a time of drought on earth, a time of famine on earth, and the price will rise, as you seek to buy wheat and barley, to make bread for yourself to eat. And so that is the third seal that had been opened. Now quickly, let's go to the fourth seal that had been opened, and this is verses 7 and 8 of Revelation 6. And look what we find out here. And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come. And I looked, and behold a pale horse. And His name that sat on Him was Death and Hades.

Following with Him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. That fourth horse, and the rider upon that horse, it says that He was called Death and Hell. And you notice this time, the horse color changes. He's no more white, no longer red, no longer black, but now He's pale horse, the color of that horse. And that speaks to us, the pale horse, representing to us, with the one that sits upon Him, that in this world, during the tribulation period, there will be a time of death, and sorrow, and suffering here, in this world.

It says, in verse 8, that the one that was set upon the horse, was called Death and Hades. Death speaks of the grave, the physical part of man. Hades speaks of hell. Hades, it is the soul and the spirit of man. In other words, the place where the grave, and Hades, it is the name that had been given, unto this one that ride upon the horse, and it says that Death and Hades followed Him, and it was power given unto them, to kill, listen, the quarter, the fourth part of this earth. In other words, at the time of the tribulation, there will be one person, out of every four individuals, that is going to end up to be killed, and die, in this universe.

Can you imagine? Can you imagine, we just recently have experienced, tsunamis and earthquakes, in the last tsunami, in Indonesia, there were quarter million people who died. At the time of, in Haiti, when there was an earthquake, I don't know if it was nearly that much, that have died. But comparison to the population, in this world, it is very little, though it was one too many. But can you imagine, brothers and sisters, doing the tribulation? One person out of every four, is going to be killed. One person of every four, can you imagine that? And it says, how they are going to be killed? How? Look at that, it says here in verse 8, at the end, they will die with sword.

Secondly, they will die with hunger. Thirdly, they will die with death, this is pestilence and sickness. And fourthly, they will die because of the beast, the animal of this earth. What we find out, brothers and sisters, ladies and gentlemen, that in the tribulation period, that because of the war, they're going to rise up, and the famine, that's going to come into this world, that will produce chaos. And what we find actually, that even through the government, who will be headed up by none else, by the Antichrist himself, the sword is being used by the government of that world, headed up by the Antichrist, that this world is going to experience persecution by the future government of the Antichrist, during the tribulation.

If you read the book of Romans, Paul said, that the government is appointed by God, and the sword had been given to the government, in order to discipline this world, and set order in this world. But in the future day, the Antichrist will use his power, his sword, to kill one person, of every fourth person in this world. That's what he's going to do. There will be an amazing killing. I don't have to tell you, if you listen to the news today, and you notice, for example, today in Syria, the government of Syria, the army is killing their own people. And they justify it. And people are dying every day.

I just hear it every day. 25, 20, 15, 17, 24, hundreds already have died, by their own government. And here you can see, that this counterfeit Messiah, who will rise to power, through pretension, then later on, he's going to cause bloodshed, then later on, there will be a famine in this earth, no food enough for people, ultimately will bring about, the killing, of men, on earth, that we live here, during the tribulation, with sword. But not only with sword, it says here in verse 8, also with hunger, people are going to be starving. No food. You can't live. Can't live. You can't function. The people will lose their lives. And then it says, with death, this is pestilence, and sicknesses, that will rise up, during the tribulation period.

And finally, with the beasts, of this earth. You know, if you don't have food for men, would you have food for animals? So the animals, are going to be hungry. So they will begin, to participate, in the killing, of mankind, because of hunger, because of famine. here in this world. Beloved brothers, and sisters, that was not written, for us, just to condemn us, but written for us, to show us, how blessed are we, to be part, of a redeemed company. People that are forgiven. People that have been, receiving grace of God, through Yeshua, the Messiah, who paid the price, for our sins. People that will not, be here, during the tribulation, during the tribulation period.

Because of the victory, that Yeshua won for us, when he died for us, on the cross. Now all this, brothers and sisters, is in the future. It haven't happened as yet. It is coming, in the future day, when, the heavenly company, going to be, going to be with the Lord. Seeing, with the 24 elders, here around the throne, around the Lord. And these events, are going to occur, here on earth. When we are in heaven, and judgment, going to fall, upon a world, that rejected, Yeshua, the Messiah. And ultimately, God is intending, to restore his people, Israel. And he is going, to restore them, as the judgment, will drive, Israel to God.

Will cause them, to say, Baruch Abba, B'Shem Adonai, when they are going, to seek, for the Messiah, who is going, to come, in a future day. And so I, beloved brothers and sisters, going to stop here, with verse 8. And we, in the will of the Lord, will continue, to see, what is going, to happen next, as we are studying, events, that will occur, during the tribulation period, the seven years, of Jacob's problem, that will happen, in a future day. May the Lord, bless what had been said, and show us, how important it is, for us, to be thankful, for Yeshua, for what, he have done, for us.
