Open your Bibles, please, to the last book of the Bible, the book of the Revelation. We are going to read today in Revelation chapter 5, and we'll see if the Lord will help us to take this subject of the worship of the Redeemer that is found in the fifth chapter of the book of the Revelation. I begin, and I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne, a book written within, and on the back side, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?

And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look their own. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look their own. And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not, behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld the law in the midst of the throne, and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

And he came, and he took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the lamb, having every one of them harps and golden vials full of orders, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for Thou was slain, and has redeemed us to God by Thy blood, out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation, and has made us unto our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.

And I beheld, and I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and the beasts and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such that are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the lamb, forever and ever.

And the four beasts said amen, and the four and twenty elders fell down, and worshipped him that liveth forever and ever. Wonderful chapter, this Revelation chapter 5, and I want us brothers and sisters to get the beautiful thought that the writer here, John, that received this message from the glorified Mashiach in heaven, who had given to him this book of the Revelation. I want you again to understand how the scene is being set before us here in the book of the Revelation. We have covered, in our last ministry meeting, we have covered Revelation chapter 4, and in Revelation chapter 4, we saw that John was called to go to heaven, where the Lord, where the Lord has said to him, in chapter 4 and verse 1, After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard was, as it were, of a trumpet talking with me, which said, Come up hither, and I will show you the things which must be hereafter.

John had been carried up to heaven, and we see, really, the church is being taken up to glory now, is being right now in heaven, around the throne that we have in all chapter 4, around God, the 24 elders representing the heavenly company that have been taken up at the rapture of the assembly, the rapture of the church. Last chapter, chapter 4, we have spoken about last time, they were worshipping the Creator. They have fell down before him and worshipped him as the Creator. Remember, they said to him in verse 11, Thou art worthy, this is chapter 4 and verse 11, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for you have created all things.

They have fell before God, and they worshipped the one who sat on the throne, because he was the Creator. That was chapter 4. But right now, when we are coming to chapter 5, we find out, not so much the worship of the Creator, but the worship of the Redeemer. And you see, brothers and sisters, the ones that are in heaven, worshipping the Redeemer, are those, of course, the angelic being, the seraphim that we have seen in chapter 4, with the six wings, but specifically, brothers and sisters, the 24 elders, who are representing there, the assembly, the church, the believers, they are now worshipping the Lord Yeshua, the Messiah, as the Redeemer.

And you know, this is something that we are going to do throughout eternity, when we are going to be in the presence of the Lord. We are going to worship Him, for what He has done for us, that He has redeemed us, that He has purchased us, with His precious blood. And that throughout eternity, we are going to worship Him. And now I want you just to see what happened. See, in chapter 4, we saw God, the Father, sitting on the throne. And chapter 5 began, in the first four verses, with the one that sits on the throne. But the thing that we find out in chapter 5, that He holds a book in His hand.

Actually, it says, He is holding a book in His right hand. Notice that, verse 1, 2, 3, and 4, we see the book, with the seven seals, that is in God, the Father's right hand. Let me just re-read it for a moment. Chapter 5, verse 1. And I saw, in the right hand of Him, that sat on the throne, a book, written within, and on the back side, sealed with seven seals. Pause with me here for a moment. The question immediately is, what is this book is all about? Actually, it should be really written, I saw at the right hand of Him that sit upon the throne, a scroll. That was a simple scroll, rolled, scroll that is being rolled, with seven seals.

You write something a little bit, and then you roll it, and you seal it. You write a little more, and you seal it, and you roll it, and seal it, and you write a little more, and you roll it. Seven times, this scroll had been sealed. And we see here, God, the Father, who sits upon the throne, as it says in verse 1, and He has in His right hand, a book, or a scroll, written within, and also on the back side, sealed with seven seals. Now, usually, when in the olden time, when they used to make a contract, make an agreement, they would write it on a piece of paper, of course, at that time, obviously, it was more than just a piece of paper, it was actually, almost like a parchment, and one will write on that parchment, they will make an agreement, they will purchase a property, and they will write the agreement, and they will seal it, and to say that this property, belonged to the person, who purchased it.

And so, in a similar way, we see here, that God, the Father, and I'm using the expression, God, the Father, because we see that, there is a distinguishing here, between God, the Father, and God, the Son, as the Lamb. We're going to see it in a moment. And you can see, that the book, is in the hand, of the one, that is holding it, that is sitting upon the throne. Now, the question that I ask, what is that book all about? Well, actually, this book, is the title deed, to this earth. It is a title, deed, it declared, the ownership, of this earth. That's what it is.

Some suggest, that it is the will, of a holy God, for mankind. It is the title deed, to the universe. Others suggest, it is the ownership, of the world. And so here, God, is holding this scroll, in his right hand, and notice, it is written on, within, and also on the back side. Apparently, there is so much, that needed to be, exclaimed, and written, that it is not only, written on one side, but it is also, written on the other side. I just want to show you, if you turn for a moment, to Jeremiah, chapter 32, I just want to show you, that it is, Hebraic, a Jewish thing, to do, that historically, our people, Israel, have done it, when they purchase, a property, in Jeremiah, chapter 32, it says, in verse 6, and Jeremiah said, the word of the Lord, came unto me, saying, Behold, Hanamiel, the son of Shalom, thine uncle, shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field, that is in Anatot, for the right of redemption, is thine to buy it.

And then I am going to, go down, in verse 8, he says to him, Buy my field. And then in verse 9, he says, And I bought the field, of Hanamiel. You notice that? And then it says, in verse 9b, he says, I bought the field, of Hanamiel, my uncle's son, that was of Anatot, and weighed him, the money, even 17 shekels of silver. And I subscribed the evidence, and I sealed it. You see, here, is Jeremiah saying, that the word of the Lord, came to him, you go buy the field, that belonged to Hanamiel, and purchase this, with a certain amount of money. He paid 17 shekels for this property, and then he subscribed it, the evidence, and he sealed it.

In fact, if you look a little bit further down, you use the word book there, in verse 12. And I gave the evidence, of the purchase, unto Baruch, the son of Neriah, the son of Masiyah, in the sight of Hanamiel, my uncle's son, and in the presence, of the witnesses, that subscribed, the book, of the purchase, before all the Jews, that sat, in the court, of the prison. And you see what happened? There was a purchase, of a property, and that is a title deed, that shows that this property, belonged to you. The price was then, and there 17 shekel, that Jeremiah is mentioning. And he took the book, he took the scroll, he sealed it, and he held it, another one, as the one, that is the owner, of the property.

Well, what's happening, in Revelation chapter 5, God is holding, a scroll, in his right hand, which is sealed, with seven seals. Now, this is, so beautiful to see, because immediately, after we read this, there is a cry, of an angel. An angel is crying, in verse 2, of Revelation 5, he saw a strong angel, and he is crying, proclaiming, with a loud voice, and saying, who is worthy, to open the book, and to loose, the seven seals, thereof? The cry went, saying, who is worthy, to open this book, to lose the seven seals, thereof?

What we find here, in verse 2, that the cry, of this angel, was to see, if there is anybody, that is able, to take this title deed, to this earth, from the hand of God, the Father, to open it, and to execute, what is written, in this book, the cry came, with the question, that has been risen, and you know, the question, that had been risen, may very well, be questioned today, who is worthy today, to have the right, and authority, to rule this world, that God, had given to mankind, the question, of course, was risen, the question, was asked, but apparently, in the next verse, there is an answer, there is, no one was

able, to open that book, look at this, verse 3, it says, and no man, in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able, to open the book, neither to look, even upon that book, see, no one was able, and I want you to know, that it used the word, no man, why it used the word, no man, because God, had given, the right, of rulership, to this world, to men, to Adam, already, long time, ago, when Adam, was created, by God, in the garden, but something happened, that Adam, lost the right, to the title deed, the right, and authority, to own, this world, this universe, as he received, from the hand of God,

I'll show you this, if you don't mind, please turn with me, to the book of Genesis, for a moment, to Genesis, chapter 1, just turn there, for a moment, and you will see that, you see what happened, when God, created men, created Adam, he had given him, the right, and authority, over this universe, look it says, in verse 26, of Genesis, chapter 1, and God said, let us make men, in our image, after our likeness, let them, have dominion, the word dominion, that they will rule, let them have dominion, over the fish, of the sea, over the fowl, of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing,

that creepeth upon the earth, you notice that, he says, let them, have dominion, in other words, he said to them, I want you, Adam and Eve, to be the king, and the queen, of this universe, let them have dominion, let them rule, over everything, and then it says, so God created men, in his own image, in the image of God, he created him, male and female, he created them, and God blessed them, verse 28, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and look, he continued again, to say, and subdue this earth, and have dominion, over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over every

living thing, that moves upon the earth, see God, gave the authority, to Adam, and Eve, to be the ones, that will rule, over the affair, of this world, but look, if you turn to chapter 2, of Genesis, he gave them a command, it says in chapter 2, in verse 8, the Lord planted a garden, eastward in Eden, and there he put the man, whom he had formed, and out of the ground, made the Lord God, to grow every tree, that is pleasant to the sight, good for food, the tree of life, also in the midst of the garden, and the tree, of the knowledge, of good and evil, and then he commanded, in verse 16,

he said, the Lord commanded the man, and he's saying to him, of every tree of the garden, you may freely eat, but of the tree, of the knowledge, of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it, for in the day, that you will eat of it, you shall surely die, in Hebrew, mot tamut, dying, you shall die, and so God gave the authority, over this universe, to Adam, and actually, brothers and sisters, he had only requested, from him, one thing not to do, it is not to eat, of the tree, of the knowledge, of good and evil, and he said to him, the day that you will eat, out of this tree, dying, you

shall die, thou shall surely die, we'll turn to chapter 3, in Genesis, and look what happened, it says in verse 1, and the serpent, was more subtle, than all the beasts, of the field, and then it says, which the Lord had made, and he said, unto the woman, has God said, ye shall not eat, of every tree, of the garden, and the woman said, unto the serpent, we may eat, of the fruit, of the trees, of the garden, but of the fruit, of the tree, which is in the midst, of the garden, God had said, ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die, and the serpent, said unto the

woman, ye shall not surely die, for God knows, that in the day, ye eat thereof, that your eyes, will be open, and ye shall be, as God's, knowing good and evil, and when the woman, saw that the tree, was good for food, and it was pleasant, to the eye, and the tree, was desired, to make one wise, she took of the fruit, thereof, and she did eat, and she gave it, unto her husband, and he, did eat, as well.

Now you see, what happened, brothers and sisters, the very God, who had given, the right, the right of authority, to Adam, over this universe, is the very God, who commended Adam, not to eat, of the fruit, of the knowledge, of good and evil, Adam told this, to his wife, his wife, was beguiled, by the serpent, by Satan, who appeared, in the garden, she had eaten of it, been beguiled, by Satan, she gave it, unto her husband, and instead, of refusing, to eat, he took it, in disobedience, to the word of God, you see, God clearly, said to him, thou shall not, eat of the tree, of the knowledge, of good and evil, for in the

day, that you will eat, therefore, you, shall, surely die, and Adam, violated the word of God, and by violating, the word of God, he plunged, the whole human race, into sin, and the disobedience, of Adam, brought distance, between Adam, and God, and if you remember, God judged Adam, he judged Eve, and he judged the serpent, he judged Satan, and he cast him, out of the garden, of Eden, and from there on, beloved brothers, and sisters, man, by nature, is at the distance, from God, he is far away, from God, we read of Cain, that he went out, of the presence, of the Lord, and we never, ever read, of Cain, ever coming back, to God,

men, by sin, have caused, a separation, between a holy God, and a human race, and from the time, that Adam, and Eve, fell, at the garden, of Eden, up till this, present day, you can see, the distance, that existing, between a holy God, and a sinful man, and so, the cry, was in heaven, who is worthy, notice there, chapter 5, of Revelation, who is worthy, to open, the book, who is worthy, to lose the seals, who has the right, to take authority, who is the one, that can restore, the earth, back to a holy, and a righteous God, and no man, and I want you to know, that it doesn't say, even no one, it

says no man, because it is men, that have fallen, it is men, that had departed, from God, it is Adam, who have departed, from the will of God, and all, have sinned, and come short, of the glory of God, there is a verse, that is important to read, and I'm going to read this, right now as well, in Romans chapter 5, in the New Testament, in verse 12, of Romans chapter 5, where we read, as by one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin, even so, death passed upon, all men, for all, have sinned, Romans chapter 5, in verse 12, what we see, here, is a declaration, that by one man, sin

entered into this world, and that man is Adam, you know, that it doesn't say, by one woman, sin entered into this world, because man, Adam was the federal head, of the human race, he was the one, who was responsible, had the authority, that God had given to him, to reign over this world, as king, and every one of us, have been a descendants, of Adam, which inherited, the sinful nature, of Adam, and just the same, like Adam, was no longer worthy, to take the book, neither you and I, because there was no man found, and you notice, that it says, in Revelation chapter 5, no man was found, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor

under the earth, to take the book, and to loose, the seals thereof, that tells us, brothers and sisters, the condition, of the human race, is that man, is at the distance, from God, and no man, is able, to restore, back to the human race, the world, that God, has first, given it, to mankind, people try, to do this, you see, there are many, rulers, in this world, who is trying, to restore this world, trying, to get things fixed, many kings, have been risen, many rulers, have been risen, over the generation, and they are saying, that I am able, to take the authority, and to restore everything, in a right way, and you find out, that

the Bible, shows us, that no one, was able, no one, could ever restore, no one, could ever take, the title deed, back from the hand, of the one, who sits, upon the throne, and so, in verse 4, when John, heard that statement, he began to weep, it says in verse 4, I wept much, you know, the grief, that John, have experienced, when he heard, such a statement, he wept, he wept much, and he tells us, the reason, why John, why did you weep, why are you weeping, he says, because no man, was found, worthy, to open, and to read, the book, neither even, to look, upon that book, no one is worthy, John wept, it

grieved him, in his heart, when he saw, what was proclaiming, there by the angel, he saw, that the book, in the hand, of God the Father, he heard the proclamation, of this great angel, and the answer, that no one, is worthy, and so, the first four verses, we see, the book, the scroll, which is, sealed, with seven seals, at the hand, of God the Father, and then, the book itself, as we have mentioned, is the title, deed, to this earth, so the next verses, brothers and sisters, we find out, the worship, of the one, who is worthy, to open the book, it's now, in a sense, moving, shifting, from looking, at the human race, and

trying, to find someone, from among, the fallen race, to be able, to open the book, to loose the seals, no one was found, in this earth, and then it's shifting, now, when finally, there was one, that had been found, that is worthy, to open the book, and to loose, the seven seals, and so, in verses 5, to 14, we have the worship, of this one, and the worship, is really divided, into three reasons, why, was the Lord, Jesus, the Messiah, worthy, to open the book, to loose, the seven seals, and to read, what is written, in the book, there are three reasons, and they are given, to us here, first of all, the first reason,

why he was worthy, is because of, who he is, this is verses 5, 6, and 7, the second reason, to worship him, is because, what he has done, this is verses 8, 9, and 10, and the third reason, to worship him, is because, of what he had received, and this is verses, 11 to 14, because of who he is, because of what he has done, and because of what he had received, that's why, he was worshipped, there in glory, so let's look at this, and we'll see, first of all, you notice that, because of who, the Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah is, it says in verse 5, and one of the elders, said unto me, weep

not, John, weep not, behold the lion, of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, he has prevailed, to open the book, and to loose the seven seals, thereof, you see, while John was weeping, because there were, no one was found, to open the book, and to loose the seven seals, one of the elders, and you remember, those elders, there were 24 elders, seen in heaven, those 24 elders, representing the heavenly company, the church, and every one of them, was a redeemed person, you remember, earlier, we read in chapter 4, that they were, covered with white raiment, and they had, crowns of gold, upon them, in other words, they were forgiven people, they had been

washed, and cleansed, and they had white raiments, and one of those elders, he said unto John, John, listen, stop to cry, John, look, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, he has prevailed, he directing John, to the one that is called, the lion of the tribe of Judah, that's number one, and secondly, the root of David, these are the two, messianic titles, that we have in scripture, concerning of Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, and the Savior of this world, you see, the lion of the tribe of Judah, was given to us, in Genesis chapter 49, when Yaakov, whose name was changed to Israel, who was the father of the 12 tribes

of Israel, who have taken, and called his sons to come to him, in order that he will bless them, and in Genesis chapter 49, he took every one of his sons, and he ascribed blessing, and prophetic blessing, to his own sons, and when he got to Judah, in chapter 49, in verse 8, he says, Judah, you are he, whom thy brethren shall praise, thy hand shall be in the neck of your enemies, and thy father's children shall bow down before you, Judah, he continues in verse 9, and he says, Judah is a lion's whelp, from the prey, my son, thou art gone up, he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old

lion, who shall rouse him up, and then he said in verse 10, the scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be, you see, Yaakov, Israel, was pronouncing blessing on Judah, and he was saying to Judah, he says, you are a lion whelp, you are the one that is like a lion, he says here, the scepter will not depart from Judah, until Shiloh will come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be, and so, the pronouncing of the blessing, to say to Judah, that he is like a lion, and the lion of the tribe of Judah,

is a messianic title, that tells us, that the gathering of the people, will come to this Shiloh, that who is the one that is out of the tribe of Judah, the scepter, the rulership, will be given to the tribe of Judah, and a lion, when you think of a lion, dear brothers and sisters, he is one that have an authority, he is devouring, he is in control, today if you ask anyone, who will say, tell us about the lion, he will say that he is the king of the forest, and when you think that John had been directed, he is called the lion of the tribe of Judah, he is a descendant of the tribe

of Judah, he came out of the tribe of Judah, in fact, if you will notice now, the next statement, not only that he is the lion of the tribe of Judah, but he is also the root of David, out of Judah, came David, but David was also the offspring, in other words, the root here, is out of which David came to this world, so what you really see here, the lion of the tribe of Judah, and the root of David, we see the two aspects of the coming of the Messiah, he came from David, and David came from him, he came from David, meaning that he is a descendant of David, but also David came

out of him, in other words, the Messiah is the root out of which David rose, so you can see the divine nature, and the humanity of the Messiah, many times, when you read in the scripture, the son of David is mentioned many times, in the Bible, in the New Testament, Ben David, the son of David, but also we have the scripture, that tells us that he was the root of David, David came out of him, David is actually a descendant, or the one that came out of the Messiah, who is eternal, the son of God, if you just go back for a moment, to the prophet Isaiah, where we read earlier in chapter 11, look

at this, what Isaiah said about the Messiah, in connection with the root of David, in chapter 11 of the prophet Isaiah, it says in verse 1, and there shall come forth a shoot, out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch will grow, out of his roots, here it is again, see a branch that will grow out of the roots, and so he came from David, but David also came from him, he is the one that he is a divine person, but also human, at the same time, many years ago, when I first opened to read the New Testament, when I even had the nerve, to open the Brit HaChadashah, I never read it before,

and I read the first verse, of Matthew chapter 1, I thought that the Brit HaChadashah, is a non-Jewish book, I thought we Jewish people, do not read the New Testament, and you notice what it says, in the first verse, of Matthew chapter 1, this is the book, of the generation, of Yeshua the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham, Ben David, Ben Avraham, he came out of David, but also David came out of him, this is the one, that John saw, in Revelation chapter 5, and verse 5, and he looked, and what did he say, he said to him, look at the lion of the tribe, of Judah, the root of David, he

has prevailed, to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof, and so in verse 6, he is turning around, he is expecting, to see a lion, so it says here, in verse 6, and I beheld, and what do we see, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth, into all the earth, you see, the elder proclaim, the lion of the tribe of Judah, so John is turning around, and he is expecting, to see a lion, and what does he

see, he see a lamb, as it had been slain, and the fat here, not only had been slain, as it had been freshly slain, that's what he sees, he see there, the lamb, he see the Messiah, Yeshua, as a lamb, that had been freshly slain, that tells us, about the sacrificial work, of Yeshua, the Messiah, freshly slain, you know, in the presence of God, the work, that Yeshua, the Messiah, had accomplished, on the tree, 2000 years ago, in the presence of God, is as it have, just have done it, today, God look at the work, of Yeshua, the Messiah, that he have done, for him, on our behalf, and God, looks at this, as if

was freshly slain, just came out, of the altar, just now, he's laid on the altar, this shows us, the work of Yeshua, the Messiah, and what he have done, for us, the lamb, that had been freshly slain, and again, brothers and sisters, I want you to understand, that when you look, at this passage, look at it, from a Hebraic, Messianic, prophetic word, because God, had promised, our people, Israel, 750 years ago, when he wrote, the prophet Isaiah, he was speaking, about the Messiah, and if you remember, the first seven verses, of Isaiah 53, Isaiah said, as a lamb, he was led, to the slaughter, and as a sheep, before a shearer, he's dumb, and he

opened, not his mouth, prophetically, God's showing to us, when the Messiah, would come to this world, he will be led, as a lamb, to the slaughter, as a sheep, he's dumb, he's not opening his mouth, he had been taken, to the altar, they sheared him, and laid him, on the altar, and crucified him, that's what happened, to the Messiah, when he gave up, his life for us, he is the lamb, that had been, freshly slain, that's what he's saying, here, in verse 6, and you remember, John, in the gospel, said in verse 29, in John 1, behold the lamb of God, which taketh away, the sin, of this world, that's the one, that is set

before us, now in glory, yes, we have God, on the throne, but we have the lamb, there in the midst, of the throne, presented before the elders, and the beasts, or the living creatures, and they see that lamb, as it had been, freshly slain, those of us, that are believers, you know, when we are going to go to heaven, one day, and we are going to be standing there, in the presence of God, we are going to be reminded again, and again, of the price, that Yeshua, the Messiah, paid for us, when he died for us, on the tree, he's going to be ever fresh, before us, he's going to be ever set, before us,

so we will produce, within our heart, a worship of praise, to him, because of what he has done, for us, and so here he is, in verse 6, John is looking, and he sees, that lamb, and you notice, what it says here, in verse 7, he says, that that lamb, he, you see now, how it is distinguished, between God the Son, and God the Father, because notice, it says in verse 7, he, this is the lamb, the Son, he took the book, out of the right hand, of him, that sat upon the throne, this is God the Father, you see, he could go, and he could take, the book, from the hand of God the

Father, why, because he purchased, he paid, the price, that no one, was able to pay, so, it says here, that he came, and he took the book, from the hand of the Father, and again, I want to remind you, the book is a scroll, which is a title deed, an authority, to restore the earth, back to the one, that gave it to man, Adam lost it, in the garden, to Satan, Satan, is now, actually, called in the Bible, the prince, of the power of the air, in fact, if you remember, that we read, in 2nd Corinthians, chapter 4, the God of this world, have blinded, the mind of them, that believe, not lest they should

believe, in a glorious gospel, in fact, Satan, is called today, small g, the God of this world, in Ephesians chapter 2, he is called the prince, of the power of the air, in the gospel of John, Yeshua said, the God of this world, sought to find something, against me, and he found nothing, you see, Satan, took control, over this earth, and that's why, we ask so many questions today, why there is so much mess, in this world, why there is so much grief, in this world, because the God, small g, of this world, is the one, who is controlling, this earth, look at the chaos, that's going on today, in the world, in which we

live in, look at the condition, that's existing today, the mess, that is happening today, the hatred, and the wars, and all that, which is going on, in the world today, which shows to us, who is controlling, this world, mind you, God himself, can change anything, but in a sense, Adam, because of sin, lost the right, the title deed, to this earth, and now Satan, is controlling this world, and who is worthy now, to restore this world, back to the way, God had given to it, there was no one's found, until John, was directed, to the lamb, which had been slain, and so brothers, and sisters, in the next verses, not only that we read, who

is he, verses five, six, and seven, but now notice, that it says to us, in verse eight, nine, and ten, what he had done, look what it says here, in verse eight, and when he had taken the book, the four living creatures, and the four and twenty elders, fell down, before the lamb, having every one of them, harps, and golden vials, full of orders, which are, the prayers of the saints, and they sang a new song, saying, thou art worthy, to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou was slain, and thou has redeemed us to God, by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongues, and people, and nation, and has

made us, unto our God, kings, and priests, and we shall reign, over the earth, you see, now the praise, is being directed, to the Messiah, Yeshua, the one who had paid the price, in order to redeem, man to himself, you see, immediately, John says, when the lamb, took the book, from the hand of God, the father, immediately, brothers and sisters, in verse 8, there is the falling down, of the living creatures, and of the elders, see that, they fell down, before him, in worship, in adoration, and it says, that they had, every one of them, harps, and also, every one of them, golden vials, full of order, which are the prayers, of the saints, see

that, the saints, you know, we often ask, what are we going to do, in heaven, we're going to play, the harp, every one of them, had the harp, apparently here, in verse 8, but also notice, they had this golden vial, or a golden bowl, which is full, of order, which are the prayers, and the praises, of the saints, now that is, very interesting expression, this golden vials, or golden bowls, that have order, you know, the first time, we find this, in the scripture, is when God, said to Israel, to build him, the tabernacle, and in Exodus, chapter 30, within the tabernacle, there was also, the altar, of incense, and the altar, of incense, Israel were

to use, this altar, this is the priest, of course, to lift up, this aroma, this incense, to God, and it says here, in verse 1, of Exodus, chapter 30, and thou shall make, an altar, to burn incense, upon them, and you can just imagine, when the priest, would take, the incense, these are special, incense, that acquired, that God, had given responsibility, to Aaron, to prepare, and these incense, these dear brothers, and sisters, would be burnt, and the aroma, the smell of it, would rise up, to heaven, and God, smelled it, and it remind him, of the work, that is going to be, accomplished, by the promised Messiah, it's reminding, because it is the praises, of

the saints, which rise to God, because of what, the Messiah have done, and that is beautiful, to see that, you remember, we also read today, in Psalm 141, in verse 2, let my prayers, be set forth, before thee, as incense, and the lifting up, of my hands, as the evening sacrifices, this is Psalm 141, in verse 2, let my prayers, be set before thee, like an incense, and the word for prayer, is not only, the prayer, but also the praises, and so, what we really see here, that the 24 elders, and the living creatures, having these bowls, that are full of incense, that rising up, that reminding, us, and reminding God, of the finished work,

of the Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, beautiful sight to see, but not only this, in the next verse, in verse 9, they were singing, that new song, look at this, beautiful, it says, and they sung, a new song, saying, thou art worthy, to take the book, and to open, the seals thereof, for thou was slain, and has redeemed, us to God, by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongues, and people, and nations, you know why, I can definitely say, that those 24 elders, are those redeemed company, because notice, they are exclaiming, you have redeemed us, you pay the price, for us, from every people, and tongues, and nation, it was a new song, in the

Bible, by the way, the first time, that we hear of singing, is only after, Israel came, out of Egypt, and they sung, that song of redemption, you see, when a person, is not forgiven, not saved, he cannot sing, oh yes, you can make music, you can sing, in a sense, a worldly song, but it's not, a worship song, a song, that come, out of redeemed heart, a forgiven sinner, a saved individual, that can sing, to God, we never read, in the Bible, of singing, only when our people, Israel, came out of Egypt, and they have crossed, the sea, we read, in the Bible, then sang Moses, and the children, of Israel, this song, unto the

Lord, and a beautiful song, because they have been, forgiven, they have been redeemed, they came out of Egypt, out of slavery, out of bondage, and now they could, sing to God, and they could, praise him, but in Egypt, they couldn't do that, in Egypt, they were in bondage, they were groaning, they were in pain, they could not, enjoy the God, who loved them so much, they needed, they needed to be forgiven, they needed someone, paying the price, for their redemption, that's even the story, of Pesach, Passover, when the Passover lamb, was killed, and the blood, of the lamb, was placed, in the doorpost, and the lintel, and the judge, passed over, the homes, of the

Hebrews, then they came out, as a redeemed company, and they could sing, the song, unto the Lord, and it is a new song, you know, what is the old song, the old song, is a song, of creation, Job, shows us, that the creation song, was sung, but it is creation, God, created all things, but men, fail into sin, men have departed, from him, so God, needed to redeem, to buy back, man to himself, and so, here we find, and they sung, a new song, somebody said, about this new song, in verses 9 and 10, that it is a five-fold, new song, first of all, it was a worship song, look, it says in verse 9,

they said, thou art worthy, to take the book, and to open the seals, it is a worship song, that come out of the heart, of a redeemed person, you are worthy Lord, then secondly, it is not only, a worship song, it is a gospel song, why, look at this again, it says in verse 9, be, for thou was slain, and redeemed us, to God, by your blood, that is the gospel, that is the besorah, as we say it in Hebrew, that is the good news, you redeemed us, we were sinners, we were far from God, you paid the price, for my sin, for our sins, thirdly, it's not only, a worship song, and a gospel

song, it is also, a missionary song, because it's for all nations, because notice it says, you redeem us, to God, by your blood, out of every kindred, and tongues, and people, and nation, this is a missionary song, because the mission, of the missionary, of the one, who shared the message, is to reach out, with that message, to every creature, upon the face, of this universe, it is a song, of a missionary song, and then in verse 10, we have the fourth, and the fifth, aspect of the song, it is also, it is also, a devotional song, because it says, in verse 10, and you have made, us, unto, our God, kings, and priests, this is

a devotional song, can you meditate, and imagine, that God, had made, you, and I, that God, had made, sinners, who deserve, to be separated, from him, he, made us, kings, and priests, can you imagine, what God, have done, through Yeshua, the Messiah, it's something, to devotion, to meditate, and to think, of what happened, when Yeshua, the Messiah, paid a price, for us, but fifthly, it is also, a prophetic song, because it says, at the end, of verse 10, we, shall, reign, over the earth, this prophetic, the saints here, the church here, the heavenly company, the 24 elders there, are in heaven, and they are looking forward, for the time, that they will reign, with the

Messiah, over this universe, at the millennial age, it is a prophetic song, so beloved brothers, and sisters, this five fold, new song, is a worship song, a gospel song, a missionary song, a devotional song, and a prophetic song, it's a new song, before we became, believers in Yeshua, we couldn't sing, that song, but now, that we have come, to know him, as our Lord, and our Savior, we can sing, that song, and we can tell him, Lord, you are worthy, why, because you have been slain, you paid the price, you have redeemed us, to God, and it cost you, your blood, when Peter wrote, his epistle, to the Hebrew believers, of the first century, you

know, what he told them, in first Peter one, and verse 18, he says, you were not redeemed, with corruptible things, as silver, or gold, from your vain manner of life, no, he said to them, but you have been redeemed, by the precious blood, of the Messiah, as a lamb, without spot, without blemish, that's what happened, brothers and sisters, that's what happened, when Yeshua, the Messiah died for us, there was no blemish, in him, there was no spot, in him, there was no sin, in him, and he was willing, to come down, to this world, to pay the price, in order that we, will be redeemed, and I trust, that every one of us, here in

this room, can definitely say, today, in his or her heart, I know, that I'm forgiven, because I've accepted, the precious, precious blood, of Yeshua, the Messiah, and apply it, to my own life, made it my own, and so finally, brothers and sisters, in verses 11 to 14, we see the third reason, why the worship, is rising up, not only because, of who he is, not only because, of what he has done, but also, because, of what he had received, from God, because of what he had done, look, John now, sees many, who are around the throne, again, notice John, he's saying, I beheld, he's speaking about himself, he says, I've been carried to heaven, chapter

4, in verse 1, and now I'm here, in this scene, in glory, in heaven, in chapter 4, creation, in chapter 5, redemption, is being emphasized, chapter 6, there is the judgment, that are going to come down, on this world, chapter 6, 7, all the way, to the end of chapter 19, chapter 20, going to be the millennial age, when Israel is being restored, chapter 21, and 22, we have the eternal order, where there will be, no sin anymore, the eternal order, but now he's in heaven, before the judgment, coming upon the earth, before Israel is being restored, he's now, he's looking, and what does he say, look, he shows us, what the Messiah, had received,

because of what he had done, it says in verse 11, I beheld, I beheld, and I heard the voice, of many angels, round about the throne, and the beasts, or the living creatures, and the elders, and the number of them, was 10,000 times 10,000, and thousands of thousands, what John is saying, really, that around the throne, there were many angels, and also the living creatures, now I want you to notice that, you remember, that we asked the question, when we looked at chapter 4, who are the 24 elders, and some may have said, that those are angels, but we can see, that they are not angels, because in the same verse 11, it distinguished, between

the angels, between the beasts, and between the elders, so we know, that in creation, there are the angels, there are the living creatures, as the seraphim, there are the cherubim, but also, we can see here, the heavenly company, the church, the 24 elders, representing there, the heavenly company, the church, and then you notice, it says here, in verse 11, and the number of them, how many do you think, they were there, look, 10,000 times 10,000, that's a million, and then this million, times thousands of thousands, that millions, of millions, of those, that have been redeemed, over the whole, church history, now you and I, sometimes look, and we see the vast amount, of people today,

in the world, that are unbelievers, now can you imagine, already almost, 2,000 years, of history, of the church, can you imagine, how many people, came to faith, in Yeshua, the Messiah, as a redeemed people, who received the Messiah, we sometimes, look at ourselves, as a small group of people, and we wonder, we look at ourselves, when it's come to number, we are like a drop, in the water, and if you talk, about Jewish believers, we are drop, in this great ocean, but according to here, look how many believers, were there, 10,000 times 10,000, and then thousands, of thousands, John is looking, and he sees, multitude of people, there, around, about the throne, and then in

verse 12, look at the proclamation, and what did they do, what do you think, they're going to do, they are going to sing, that new song, and they will ascribe, worthiness, to the Messiah, to the Lamb of God, which took away, the sin, of this world, they are saying, in verse 12, with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb, that was slain, now remember, brothers and sisters, every time, we are going back, to the Lamb, that was slain, because when, the Lamb was slain, the price was paid, God could not, bring people, back to himself, without, the price of redemption, redemption, had to be acquired, price for sin, had to be paid, not by money,

not by silver, and gold, but the precious blood, of the Messiah, his life, was cut off, in the midst, of the living, and so, it says here, worthy is the Lamb, that was slain, to receive what, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing, now I want you to notice that, also here, that he received it, now let's remember, that the Lord, Yeshua, the Messiah, is the eternal, son of God, he has the ownership, of this world, by virtue, of the fact, that he is divine, but here, in Revelation chapter 5, he received, the ownership, of this world, by virtue, of his humanity, and by virtue, of his

price, that he paid, on the cross, in other words, he received, something from God, as man, or he always, was the eternal, son of God, he always, was the one, that had a right, to this world, but he had to become a man, to redeem sinners, like us, so he can now, restore, back which we have lost, but it cost him his life, so now God, is giving him, and man, is giving him, that which, belonged to him, as man, this time, because of what he has done, on the cross, power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing, you know, in John chapter 5, in verse 23, when the religious, leaders of our people, Israel,

did not accept him, and they challenged him, he said, many times, when he was speaking there, in verse 23, of John chapter 5, I'll read verse 22, as well, for the father, judged no man, but he, commended all judgment, unto the son, that all men, should honor, son, even as they, honor the father, he that, honors not the son, honors not the father, which he had sent, already before he died, he says that God, the father, had honored him, and the one, that doesn't honor the son, does not honor the father, so here, we can see, that now, he received that honor, and the strength, and the riches, and the wisdom, and the power, and

the glory, and the blessing, then it says, in verse 13, the adoration, by all the creation, it says there, and every creature, which is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him, that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the lamb, forever, and ever, and the four beasts, said amen, and the four and twenty elders, fell down, and worship him, that liveth, forever, and ever, see brothers and sisters, what the side, that we see here, that actually, the adoration, of all creation, that adore, the Messiah, Yeshua, because of what,

he have done, and this time, the emphasis, is not on creation, this time, the emphasis, is on redemption, because of the price, that he paid, when he died for us, on the cross, I want to conclude, with just one verse, in the book of Psalm, if you turn with me, to Psalm 2, and I'm going to conclude, there, in those verses there, it's a messianic Psalm, and this messianic Psalm, is really, prophetically speaking, of the voice, of God the Father, the voice of God the Son, and the voice, of God the Holy Spirit, when we read the portion, that speaks about, the voice of God the Son, we read, the Son declaring, in verse 7,

8, and 9, it says, I will declare, the Lord, this is God the Father, saith unto me, thou art my Son, this day, have I begotten thee, ask of me, and I shall give thee, the heathen, for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts, of the earth, for thy possession, you shall break them, with a rod of iron, you shall dash them, in pieces, like a potter's vessel, the Messiah, speaking here, and he says, that Jehovah, the Lord, spoke with him, and told him, ask of me, and I will give you, the heathen, for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts, of the earth, for thy possession, and that's what will happen, brothers and sisters, what we

lost, because of Adam, we have gained, because of Yeshua, the Messiah, what we lost, because of the fall, in the garden of Eden, we gain, when the Messiah, paid the price, for our sins, on the tree, and now today, those of us, who are believers, we are part, of this heavenly company, that we can, today worship, and praise the Lord, for what you have done, for us, and the scene, now in heaven, is ended, with the praising, of the Messiah, because of what, he has done for us, and from here on, now in chapter 6 on, the lamb, began to open, the seals, and as he opened, the scroll, with all the seals, you can

see, 19 judgments, that are going to fall, on this earth, one after the other, because now, he is ready, to take over, this universe, and to restore it, back to himself, to take his rightful, place, in this world, and we can, by the grace of God, if the Lord, will help us, we'll look at that, and we can see, one step at a time, how the world, is going to be judged, and ultimately, restored back, to the lamb, and even to see Israel, beautiful to see, our people, Israel as a nation, are going to be, restored back, to God, and have, surrounding the Messiah, and being, forever living, with our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.
