Shabbat Shalom, everyone. Let us turn to the book of the Revelation, this ministry meeting. Today, I would like to deal with Revelation chapter 20. And we are going to begin in our reading today from Revelation 20 and verse 7. We have been looking in our previous ministry meeting at Revelation chapter 20 verses 1 to 6. And we have seen that in Revelation 20, the Holy Spirit of God have given us through the Apostle John, who were on the island of Patmos, that wonderful information to know about the future kingdom age, which Old Testament prophets, our own Hebrew prophets, did not know how long will that messianic age will be. And so here in verses 1 to 6, we have learned that the messianic kingdom of the future day when the Messiah will reign will be 1,000 years.

And we have discussed it in our ministry meeting from verses 1 to 6 of our past time together. But today I would like to begin from verse 7 to the end of the chapter. So let's begin to read from verse 7. "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison and shall go out and deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea, and they went up on the breadth of the earth and compassed about the camp of the saints and about the beloved city, and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

And the devil that deceivers them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophets are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. And I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell was cast into the lake of fire. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. And I'm going to stop here at the end of this chapter, Revelation chapter 20. Brothers and sisters, those of you that have not been with us in our previous meetings, we are dealing with the book of the Revelation that Yohanan, the apostle, received from the glorified Messiah in heaven, who have given him this vast amount of information and revelation concerning the person of the Messiah.

And what's going to happen in the future. And he gave him so much information that we have covered up to this chapter 20 where we are today. Yohanan was on the island of Patmos. He was there because of his faithfulness to the Messiah, Yeshua, and a testimony to the word of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah. And in a wonderful, miraculous way, as John was on the Lord's day, in the spirit, the Lord Yeshua, the Messiah, gave him this vast information about future things that were going to happen. Both in the church age, chapter 2 and 3 of Revelation, and both for the rest of the tribulation period, from chapter 6 all the way to the end of chapter 19.

We are here in chapter 20. And in chapter 20, we have covered the first six verses, and we have seen of the fact that it is only in Revelation, chapter 20, that we get that information about the length of the Messianic age. You see, God had promised to our own people about the kingdom that is going to come, that the Messiah will reign, and Israel will be restored to himself. And he promised this kingdom to come to pass. But this kingdom haven't come as yet. The Messiah at his first coming was rejected by our own nation. Yeshua was not accepted as the king of the Jewish people. And he went to the cross, and he died on that tree.

And he was buried, and he rose again. And he promised that he was going to come to restore Israel to himself. And so, here John received the length of the time that this Messianic age will be. And this is 1,000 years long. I want to emphasize that in Revelation, chapter 20, we have six times the word "thousand years" mentioned. Let me just mention this to you before we begin in verse 7. In verse 2, it says, "And he bound Satan for a thousand years." In verse 3, it says, "That he will not deceive the nations of the world no more until the thousand years will be over." In verse 4, at the end, it says, "Of those who did not worship the beast, they lived and reigned with the Messiah," according to verse 4, "for one thousand years." Then in verse 5, we have again this expression, where it says that the rest of the dead live not again until the thousand years were over.

This is the fourth time that we have the word "thousand years." And we have in verse 6, where we have finished to have a meeting last time together, where it says, "That they shall be priests unto God and of the Messiah, and they shall reign with him for a thousand years." Up to this point, beloved brothers and sisters, five times the Holy Spirit of God penned this in this scripture, that for a thousand years there will be this reigning of the Messiah, and there will be reigning of the church with him, and there will be reigning of the tribulation saints and the Old Testament saints with him, and Israel will be as a nation that have been restored." Now when the kingdom is over, again another thing that we never read in the Old Testament, in the Tanakh, is that the Old Testament Hebrew prophets never knew how the kingdom will end, and what will happen at the end of the kingdom.

They did not know that information. The only information that we have on how will the messianic kingdom end, is found right here in Revelation chapter 20 and verse 7 to the end of the chapter. Now look at this. There are some things that are going to happen, or there are certain events that are going to occur at the end of the messianic kingdom, or the end of the millennial age. The first thing that we find out that is going to happen there, is found in verse 7. This is extremely interesting here. In verse 7, look what's going to happen, which we read here in verse 7. "When the thousand years are expired, then Satan shall be loosed out of his prison." Now remember, if you go back to verse 2, it says that, "This angel held, took hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and he bound him for a thousand years." It says in verse 3, "Where did he bound Satan?

He cast him into the bottomless pit, and he shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years will be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed for a season." And so Satan was bound for a thousand years, in a place that is called here in verse 3, "the bottomless pit." Now in the Greek, the bottomless pit simply means the abyss. The abyss is a place where the fallen angels had been kept there until the final judgment will come. And Satan is going to be kept in that abyss. This is the place of the fallen angels that have disobeyed God, and Satan is now, have been kept for one thousand years in that place that is called the abyss, or the bottomless pit.

Now can you imagine what does that mean, brothers and sisters? When Satan is kept for a thousand years in that abyss, when the Messiah will reign over this world as King of kings and Lord of lords, can you imagine what an age that will be, when there will be no longer that which is going on in this world today, there will be a period of time that the Bible called a period of the kingdom of the Messiah, that he will rule in righteousness, and no more sin is going to be condoned without judgment. He is the one that is going to reign over the kingdom age in this time when Satan is going to be bound for a thousand years.

Before I'm going to elaborate that I want you to go to Isaiah chapter 11, and I want you to see one thing that needs to be emphasized in Isaiah 11 concerning that kingdom, before we are going to see what Satan is going to do after he is going to be loosed. Look what it says in Isaiah chapter 11 about the kingdom of Yeshua, the Messiah, the one that God will give him the authority over this world. It says here in verse 3, His delight will be in the fear of the Lord, and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither shall reprove after the hearing of his ears.

But he with righteousness shall judge the poor, and he reprove with equity the meek of the earth. He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness shall be the girdle of his reign. When the Messiah is going to reign, this world will experience shalom and righteousness and justice that will exist in the millennial age. Even the animal kingdom will experience a blessing during the millennial age or the messianic age, because the animosity that's existing between animal and animal and man is tremendous because of sin.

But look what we read in verse 6 of Isaiah 11. It says, The wolf shall also dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lay down with a kid, and a calf and a young lion and a fattling together, and a little child shall lead them. There will be harmony in a millennial age, in a messianic age, because Yeshua is going to be reigning as the king of kings, and Satan, the enemies of God's people, will be bound for a thousand years. There will be the wolf and the lamb can dwell together, the leopard and a kid shall enjoy dwelling together, and so on, a kid and a calf and a young lion will dwell together, and a little child will be able to lead them.

That's the kind of experience the people of Israel and the people of the world will experience during the millennial age. There will be shalom and peace and blessing and joy and the Messiah. When sin will rise, He will judge it immediately. When sin will rise, He will judge it in righteousness. But after the thousand years are over, you and I might say, wow, a thousand years will be over. Satan that was bound for a thousand years now is being loosed. People have enjoyed to see the reign of the Messiah, have enjoyed that peace, and they will follow Him. Then we find out that something has happened at the end of the thousand years.

It says, and I'm back to Revelation 20 and verse 7, where it says that Satan will be loosed. Notice that what it says in verse 7. When the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison. That prison is the abyss. That prison is the place where fallen angels are being confined. We do not know where it is. It is an area of the spirit realm. We do not know where is this place found, but God knows. He is the one that keeps them in that abyss. And there, He is being loosed out of the abyss, and He is going to repeat again, brothers and sisters, the very same thing that He was doing throughout all His history, as Satan, as the deceiver, as the old serpent.

What does He do? Notice what it says immediately here in verse 8. Look what He is doing. He is continuing with what He has done all throughout the history when God has allowed him to be free, to do various things here in this universe. You see, it says, He shall go out to deceive the nations. Here is the thought, brothers and sisters. Satan is a deceiver. He deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. And he is deceiving again, but notice it says that he deceives the nations. Now remember that up to this point, he was bound in the abyss. He was not loose. He couldn't do what he wanted to do.

And God was in full control. And now for one reason or another, I believe it is to teach us a lesson about the human nature. Human nature is deceitful and sinful. God declares that in the scripture. The natural man receives not the things of the Lord. Neither can he. The natural man, the sinful nature is so deceitful. Jeremiah said the heart of man is desperately wicked. God says in Genesis 6 and verse 5, that the thought and the imagination of the thoughts of his heart is deceitful and wicked constantly. So God knows the human nature. That's why he had to send the Messiah to pay for the sin of this human nature.

And here we can see that old human nature is allowing Satan to deceive him again. Also, Satan is coming out of the abyss and the first thing that he does, he deceived the nations of the world. It says here in verse 8, He will go out to deceive the nations which are, notice, in the four quarters of the earth. Not one area or another, but he goes throughout the whole quarters of the earth, and he deceives this world. It says here in verse 8 again, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Now, brothers and sisters, I want us to understand for a moment what's happening here.

We just learned from the first 6-7 verses of Revelation chapter 20, that the length of the messianic kingdom where Yeshua is going to be reigning is 1,000 years. We just saw it here in this text. At the end of the 1,000 years, people will be deceived by Satan from all the four corners of this world. Now, the question immediately rises up in our hearts, who will be the people that will be deceived by Satan? Now, I want you to turn with me to the prophet Isaiah again, and this time we're going to go to chapter 65. Isaiah chapter 65. This is the Hebrew prophet who prophesied to our people about 750 years prior to the coming of Yeshua the Messiah.

Look what Isaiah is saying concerning the future days. Isaiah is speaking now in verse 17, and he's speaking about the messianic age. And look what he's saying. "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth." God is telling this to Israel through Isaiah. "For the former things shall not be remembered nor come to mind, but be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create. For behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people." This is Israel. "And the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in hell, nor the voice of crying." Verse 17, 18, and 19 tells us that God is going to create a new heaven and a new earth.

Now, this is the new heaven and the new earth of the millennial age. Let's not mix it up with the new heaven and the new earth, which we're going to read in Revelation 21 and 22. This is, in a sense, brothers and sisters, we may call it a renovation of creating a new heaven and a new earth in connection with the millennial kingdom age of Messiah. And how do we know that it's not the eternal order? It's because in the next verses we're going to see that there is sin that is still going to occur in the millennial age. But before we're going to get to the next verses, in verse 18 and 19, we find out that there will be rejoicing in Yerushalayim.

And that God will rejoice over the people of Israel, who will be restored to himself, who are going to be a people that have accepted Yeshua the Messiah finally at the end of the tribulation. And it says in verse 19, I will rejoice in Jerusalem and I will joy in my people. That's the millennial age when God is going to rejoice, when Israel is going to be restored. Blessing going to flow upon the nations of the world. And Yeshua the Messiah is reigning for that millennial thousand years reign. But then look what we read here in the next verse. In verse 20, we get information about the fact that there will be people that will be born in that millennial age.

There will be families. There will be babies born into that messianic kingdom. And we read here, it says in verse 20, there shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days. In other words, a young man or an old man, they will fill their days. In other words, at that time, people will live very long, up to as long as a thousand years of age. It's very similar to what happened before the flood. If you remember, a man by the name of Metushelach lived for 969 years. Once the flood of God's judgment came, lifespan have deteriorated. And by the time we read in the Psalms, that men live of 70 years, and if by way of strength, maybe 80 years, but not without sorrow, not without trials, but in a millennial age, it's going to be different.

The Messiah reigning. Satan is bound. Then people will live much longer time. And it says here that no infant of days, nor an old man has not filled his days. He will be enjoying a long life. But listen to the next portion of verse 20. It says, listen to this expression, a child shall die a hundred years old. Now remember that, because the length of the millennium is a thousand years, for a person who going to die at the time, a hundred years old, according to Isaiah 65 verse 20, he is a child at that time, because of the length of the kingdom age. But now why will he die?

Why will a child die by a hundred years old? Why? Because the next stanza, help us to understand that, in verse 20 of Isaiah 65, it says, the sinner, being a hundred years old, shall be accursed. Now you see what we learn here, that at the millennial age, when the children that will be born into their parents, during the kingdom age, they must come to the knowledge of the Messiah, by the year 100. A person who will not accept God, and God's way of salvation, through Yeshua the Messiah, by the year 100, he will die, and it says here, at the end of verse 20, he is accursed. He will be cut off.

He is judged by God. But those that will believe in the Messiah, and accept him, will live beyond a hundred years old, all the way to the end of the kingdom age. And so you know what we learn from these brothers and sisters, that as we read in Revelation chapter 20 and verse 8, is that after Satan is going to be loosed for a little time, and he is going to go throughout the whole world, as it says here, all the nations, and he will deceive many among those nations. Now who he will deceive? He will deceive all those that haven't come to acknowledge God, the Messiah Jesus, and Yeshua himself.

And he will deceive them. In fact, we can call it a deception of the youth movement. Those that were younger than a hundred years of age, those that were unsaved and have not accepted the Messiah during the millennial age, those that were born during the millennial age, and they did not come to faith in the Messiah. That's why they will die under the year 100. They will consider accursed under the year 100. And therefore, under 100 years of age, below 100, those will be many of those who will be deceived by Satan, and he will gather them together, as today, young people, very easy to deceive, and to lead them astray.

He will gather them together to a battle that the Bible calls it here, that battle, and it says the number of them was as the sand of the sea. And so what we find out, brothers and sisters, how the end of the kingdom will come about? Well, at the end of the kingdom, Satan is going to be loosed for a short season. He will deceive the youth of the time, those who were born during the kingdom age, and he will cause them to come to that battle against the people of Israel, against the people of God, against the nation and the city of Jerusalem. We're going to read it in the next verse, but before we're going to move to the next verse, notice that he used the expression here, Gog and Magog.

You know, there is an expression such as this of Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel, chapter 38 and 39, which we are not going to read right now. And many Bible teachers are giving us various views on how to interpret Ezekiel 38 and 39. Where is the war of Gog and Magog mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 of the war of the nations that are coming from the far north against Israel? Where is that battle fitting in the plan of God? Well, some believe it is in the middle of the tribulation. Others believe that it is at the end of the tribulation. And because the name Gog and Magog is mentioned here, therefore some suggest that the war of Gog and Magog, Ezekiel 38 and 39, will be fitting right here at the end of the millennium age.

But I would like to suggest one or two things. The war that is mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39, the nations that are coming are from the far north against the people of Israel. And the effect that is mentioned there far north suggests that it is a different period of time because here it doesn't speak about the far north. Here it says that he deceived the nations from the four quarters of the earth. The usage of the expression Gog and Magog does not necessarily mean that it is the same war. Let me tell you another reason why I don't think it is the same war. When you read Ezekiel 38 and 39 you will find that Israel will have to burn the ammunition for seven years.

They will have to bury the bodies of all those who gather against Israel for seven months. Well, if they are going to bury them for seven months and burn the ammunition for seven years, if it is going to be at the end of the millennial age, does that mean that into the eternal order they are going to be burning for seven years all the ammunition? It doesn't fit. And if the war of Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is going to be in the middle of the tribulation, there is another problem. Does that mean that from the three and a half after the tribulation into the kingdom they are going to be burning the ammunition and burying the bodies?

It doesn't fit. The only place that we can fit the war of Gog and Magog from Ezekiel 38 and 39 is actually prior to the tribulation period because that gives them the seven years period to burn the ammunition of all the armies that came against the nation of Israel. This is just a thought that I would like you to consider this. Here is again mentioned Gog and Magog. And so even though it is confusing, but I would still distinguish the two periods of time. One of them is a nation coming from the north, Ezekiel 38 and 39. This one is a Gog of Magog, the coming of the war of the nations coming from all the corners of the earth.

Now, one more point, please allow me. One brother was referring to the World War I and World War II. Two names, the same name. Both of them, World War I and the other one is World War II. Both of them have the same title. The first war was in a different time than the second war. One of them is in a certain period of time where the nations were having this world war. And the second world war was in a different period of time of our history. And both of them are mentioned in the same name. One of them, number one. The other one is number two.

You can definitely take this and you can call it Gog and Magog war number two. Because there was already a Gog and Magog war number one earlier. Well, I will leave this for your consideration. But now notice that, beloved brothers and sisters. Verse eight, Satan will deceive the nations. And it will be, in a sense, a youth movement. But notice what it says now in verse nine. It says, and they went up on the breadth of the earth. And they compassed the camp of the saints about and the beloved city. Now, this is also an amazing expression. The camp of the saints. These are the saints of the nation of Israel.

The Jewish saints. Those saints of the nation of Israel. That have lived now for a thousand years with Yeshua the Messiah. And then we find out that they encamped also the beloved city. You know, that beloved city is the city of Jerusalem. The city of Jerusalem. We read earlier in the psalm. The psalmist tells us that God has set his love upon the city of Jerusalem. We read it in Psalm 87 in verse two. And Psalm 122. The Bible tells us, pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And say, they that love thee shall prosper. So we find out that this city of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, is that beloved city of God.

And the city is not only being loved by God. But men, saints are called to love that city of Jerusalem. And so Satan is going to gather all these nations from around the world. And the youth movement under 100 years of age. And they're going to come against the saints. The Hebrews, the people of Israel. And they're going to come against the city of Jerusalem again. And we learn from that, brothers and sisters, that the old nature cannot be improved. The old nature need to be placed in death. Sin nature is desire constantly to do that which is against the will of God. And so they came against Israel.

They came against Jerusalem. And this time, God had fought this fight and destroyed them right there. Because it says in verse nine, The destruction was total. Brothers and sisters, this is the final war that men will experience upon the face of this earth. That's it. There will be no more wars after this because after this there is a judgment and ultimately the eternal order. But this is the final war that men will experience here in this world. That's it. No more wars after this war. Because God will devour them totally. And will destroy those unregenerated ones who followed Satan. Look what happened to Satan. It says here in verse 10, And the devil that deceived them.

He was cast now no longer to the abyss. The place where fallen angels are kept. But now he was no longer going back to that abyss. But now according to Revelation chapter 20 and verse 10, Satan is cast into the lake of fire. And brimstone. Where the beast and the false prophets are. You see, the first two individuals that were already in the lake of fire for a thousand years were the counterfeit Messiah. The beast that rose out of the sea. And the false prophet, the beast that rose out of the earth. Revelation chapter 13. They were already in that, what is called the lake of fire for a thousand years.

While Satan was kept in the abyss for a thousand years. Once Satan was loosed. Deceived the nations. Once in a war against the beloved city of Jerusalem and the Jewish people, the people of Israel. At the end of the kingdom age. Then God had destroyed all these nations. And he took Satan now. And the devil that is called here, the devil that deceived them. And he cast him into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophets are. And listen, brothers and sisters, it says there that they shall be tormented their day and night forever and ever. And we said, brothers and sisters, that actually hell is not the final place of Satan and men who rejected God.

Hell is still a temporary place because the final place of all unregenerated individuals and Satan and the false prophet and the Antichrist. It is really the lake of fire. Now turn with me to Matthew chapter 25 for verse or two there, please. In Matthew chapter 25, Yeshua was speaking there. And Yeshua said, he was speaking concerning the tribulation time. And then what will follow after this? Matthew chapter 25. He said in verse 41. Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared, notice, prepared for the devil and his angels. This everlasting fire is the lake of fire. This everlasting fire was not prepared for man, but it was prepared for the devil and his angels.

It was not prepared for man. And therefore the Messiah later on, you're going to see that there will be those who rejected the Messiah Yeshua, rejected God, and they also going to be cast into the lake of fire. But at this point, Revelation chapter 20 and verse 10, at this point, not only that the beast and the false prophets are in the lake of fire, this time Satan is cast into the lake of fire as well. And he, this is the eternal place of Satan and the eternal place of those who followed him throughout eternity. And it is called in the Bible, the lake of fire. And now, brothers and sisters, look what we read in the last verses here of Revelation chapter 20.

From verse 11 to verse 15, we have what is called the great white throne judgment. You see, we have to distinguish between the judgment seat of the Messiah found in 2nd Corinthians 5 verse 10, and the great white throne judgment found in Revelation chapter 20 verses 11 to 15. The judgment seat of Christ, of Mashiach, is only for believers. We read that every one of us who believe on him, we are going to be judged very in glory before we are going to have this marriage of the Lamb. We are going to be judged of what we have done as believers. It's not an issue of our salvation, but it is issue of how did we live the lives as believers in Yeshua the Messiah.

Whatever we have done for him, going to last. Whatever we have done not for him, going to be burned with fire. But when we are talking here about the great white throne judgment, it is already thousand years at least after. And here, no believers are going to be found. Only unbelievers, those who rejected the Messiah. Look what we read, and I'm going to read it verse by verse so we can grasp this together here in this ministry. First of all, in verse 11, John sees a great white throne. It says, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them." We see the great white throne.

Why great? Because this is the final judgment that is going to come here in this universe. And white is white? Because it is pure, because of the person that is sitting on the throne, he is a pure, holy, undefiled one who sees everything through and through. And we read here that this great white throne there, and then it says that there was one that was sitting on that throne. It says in verse 11b, "And him that sat on that throne." You know, when you think about the one that is sitting on the throne, how do we know that it is Yeshua the Messiah? It's because he said, and I'll read that again, and I've got to connect it with other passages.

In Matthew chapter 19, Yeshua said these words, and I think we want to point out to that today as we are thinking about this great white throne judgment. Matthew tells us in chapter 19, in verse 28, Yeshua was speaking there in verse 28. And he said, "Yeshua said unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, that ye which have followed me in the regeneration, when the son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory.'" When the son of man going to sit on the throne of his glory." He said to them, of course, that they also will sit with him, and they will judge the twelve tribes of the people of Israel.

Yeshua said of himself that he's going to be sitting on that throne. Now, notice again, if you turn now to the Gospel of John, in chapter 5, here's another verse for us to read, concerning the one that's going to judge this world, John, chapter 5, in verse 22. Yeshua is saying, "For the Father judges no man, but he has committed all judgment unto the Son." You see, God the Father gave God the Son, in his humanity, to be the judge of the universe. Look at that! It says here, a little bit further, in verse 28, "Marvel not at this, for the hour is come, in which all that are in the grave shall hear his voice, and shall come forth, they that have done good into the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil into the resurrection of damnation.

I can of my own self do nothing, as I hear I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father that hath sent me." This is verses 28, 29, and 30 of John, chapter 5. So, all judgment was given unto the Son, and He is the one that is going to be the one who is going to sit on that great white throne judgment. I have to read one more verse in Acts chapter 17, and I am going to read this verse for us all, so you can see the future judgment that the Messiah will reign in this future day.

It says in verse 30 and 31, "In the time of this ignorant, God winked it, but now He commends all men to repent." Why? "Because He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world by this man whom He ordained." You see, God has ordained His Son, Yeshua the Messiah, to be the judge of this universe. And He is going to sit on that great white throne judgment, and He is going to be judging everyone. And the Bible tells us in this verse 11, it says that the heavens fled away from His face. And there was found no place for the heavens and the earth. They fled away from the face of the judge.

And when you can imagine what it means that when He looks, the judge is looking, everything is fleeing away from Him because of His piercing eyes. And that He can see through and through. You know, God can see everything in our hearts and in our lives. We cannot hide anything from Him. But the judgment day will come, and all those who rejected the Messiah are going to have to stand before that judge when He was sitting on the great white throne judgment. Revelation 20 and verse 11. And now look at the next verse. After we see the throne and the judges sit on it, what we find out is that now there is going to be another resurrection.

You see, we talked earlier about the first resurrection. The first resurrection is all believers going to rise. The Messiah is number one. He rose 2,000 years ago. The church saints going to rise prior to the tribulation period. The Old Testament saints and the tribulation saints will rise at the end of the tribulation to enter into the kingdom. This is the first resurrection. But there is a second resurrection, and in the second resurrection is His only unbelievers. Look at that, and I want to point this to it right now. It says here in verse 12, we see the resurrection of the unbelievers to stand before the throne in order to be judged.

It says in verse 12, and I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. Well, how did they stand before God? How did these ones, the small and the great, which are dead, this is unbelievers, how did they stand before God? Well, they had to be resurrected. There will be a resurrection of the unbelievers in order to be judged before the final condemnation is going to be placed upon them. It says in verse 12b, books were opened. And to distinguish the plurality of the many books, it's continued. And it says in another book, single book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, plural, according to their works.

Now, this is also, brothers and sisters, again, I want to emphasize a little bit and to elaborate here about these things. You notice there are three points here that we have in verse 12. The first one, there were books, plural. I'm going to read it again. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and books were opened. There were many books that were opened. And then secondly, we find that there was an additional, singular book that was opened there, which is called the book of life. And thirdly, it says that those unbelievers were judged out of the plurality of the books there. It says here, and they were judged according to those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Do you remember that we talked about the judgment seat of the Messiah? And we said from 1 Corinthians 3 and 2 Corinthians 5 that we were judged according to our works. For the believers to be judged according to our works is nothing to do with our salvation, but it has to do with how did we live our lives. So apparently, God had to record how did we live our lives. How did Gideon live his life? How did you live your life as a believer? And he's recording. God has recorded everything. How did we live our lives? And he can say in much of the history of the life of Gideon as a believer that there was much failure here and there.

And he's pointing this out. And he burned it with fire. And only that which was done for the Messiah will last. It will be very similar in connection with the unbelievers. There were books that apparently were open. And it says here that these books are to be distinguished from that book, one book of life. And every one of those dead, unregenerated people would judge according to their works out of those books. Just like God recorded the history of the believers and their action, God also records the history of the unbelievers and their actions. And he's going to open those books and he's going to show to them, here it is, is your life.

What kind of a life you lived as an unbeliever. And some might say, well, why does God need, if he's going to cast them anyway into the lake of fire, why does he need to judge them according to their works? They already didn't believe in the Messiah, but why does he judge them according to their deeds and actions? Well, here is where we have to understand that this judgment has nothing to do with whether they are going to heaven or hell. They are unsaved. They are going to be cast into the lake of fire. But even in the lake of fire, there are degrees of judgment for the unregenerated individuals.

The scripture tells us in John chapter 19 that there are greater sins and lesser sins. The scripture tells us in Matthew chapter 11 that there are certain things that is more tolerable than other things that are less tolerable. In other words, God is tolerating things some less and some more. This is found in Matthew chapter 11. In Luke chapter 12, there are greater or lesser stripes that Yeshua is telling us in connection with discipline. So even for the unbelievers, in the eternal judgment in the lake of fire, there will be greater punishment or lesser punishment. Just the same like for you and I as believers. Some of us are going to get greater rewards than others because of the life that we have lived after we became believers.

And some of us are going to get greater rewards to be used in the Messianic kingdom. Some of us are going to have lesser rewards to use in the Messianic kingdom. But everyone that believes in Yeshua the Messiah is eternally saved. And everyone that rejected the Messiahship of Yeshua and the work on the cross will be eternally lost. And therefore, the Bible tells us here that they were judged according to the works that they have done that are written in those plural books. The word here, the book of life, is also very interesting to speak about. We're going to talk about it in a moment.

But the book of life is the book that records every individual that was born into this universe. Every baby that is born, he's recorded in the book of life. Another baby is born, he's recorded in the book of life. Everyone that was born into this world will be recorded in the book of the living. The book of those that were born into this world. Those that will die without the Messiah, their name will be erased from the book of life. Those that died believing in a Messiah, their name will be retained in the book of life. But in addition to that, they will be added into the Lamb's book of life.

So this is amazing how interesting here in this verse 12. Now, let's please go to the next verse. And I wanted to see what another description that we have in verse 13 of the resurrection of that unbelievers, the dead, the lost one, for the judgment. Look at the description here that we have in verse 13. Now, again, I want you to see, brothers and sisters, here in verse 13, that there is a distinguishing between the body and the soul. You know, we as human beings have spirit, soul, and body. When we die, the body goes to the grave. The spirit and the soul going to the unseen world. The believers going today to the presence of the Messiah, absent from the body, present with the Lord.

But the unbelievers who have died without the Messiah, without Christ, without Yeshua, they are going to go to Hades, to hell. This is the place where they will be awaiting the final judgment. So here in verse 13, what we find out that it says here that the sea gave up the dead. That has to do with the body. And then it says that death and hell deliver up the dead. That means hell is where the unbelievers were waiting there for that season of time until the final judgment. And also they, as it says here, death and Hades delivered up their dead. So what you have now, in the great white throne judgment, you have all the unbelieving world.

All that rejected God and God's way, standing there in the presence of God, resurrected with their body, their spirit, and their soul, waiting the final judgment to be cast into the lake of fire. And in verse 13, it says, and they were judged every man according to their works. Spirit, soul, and body, they will be judged according to their works. And in verse 14, he says this expression there, that death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire. Even death, this is the body, even hell, this is the soul, both of them going to be cast into the lake of fire. That's what we read here in verse 14.

And that's the body and hell, this is the soul of the spirit, the human soul and spirit, were cast into the lake of fire. Can you imagine, dear friend, brothers and sisters, can you imagine what that means? That even after the many, many generations that they were kept in Sheol, in Hades, they are finally going to be brought back into the presence of God to stand before the judge. Their body is going to be resurrected even hundreds and thousands of years. Wherever they were, God is able to raise their body. To unite together and to stand before the judge, Yeshua the Messiah, only to point to them at their history.

Not only that you rejected God, he will say, but look at your history. Look at your life. Look at how you lived. You rejected God. You left God aside. You rejected the offer of salvation. And ultimately, they're going to be cast into the lake of fire. And the Bible calls it here in verse 14, it calls it the second death. This expression here in verse 14 was already found earlier in verse 6, where we read in Revelation 20 verse 6, "Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection on such a one, the second death hath no power." The second death is the eternal death. The first death is the physical death.

And even prior, as we were born, we already had spiritual death. So we have spiritual death, we have physical death, and here we have eternal separation from God. Eternal death, which is called here the lake of fire. This is the second death. Now, to conclude here with verse 15, I would like just to elaborate a little bit here on verse 15. And it says here very clearly, "Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." And as you remember, I mentioned before that people often make a mistake and they don't distinguish between the Book of Life and the Lamb's Book of Life.

There are two different books altogether. In the Book of Life, and I'm elaborating more a little bit today so we get a hold of it, in the Book of Life your name and my name were written the day that we were born. When you were born, your name was written in the Book of Life because you got life. You got breath from God. You are living. And God gave you a name and He put your name in this Book. And everyone that was born here into this world. But what happens when a person dies? And now it says here, "Whosoever's name was not found written in the Book of Life." When a person leaves this world without salvation, his name is being erased and removed.

Could you turn with me to Revelation 3 for a moment, please? I'll read what Yeshua said in Revelation 3 when Yeshua was speaking here, speaking about the Book of Life, speaking about the name being marked and written in the Book of Life. Look what it says here. Revelation 3:4-5. Actually, it's in the beginning of the chapter. He's writing to the church of Saudis. He said to them, "Remember therefore what you have received and heard and hold fast and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." Verse 4 and 5 now.

"Thou hath a few names, even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garment. And they shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy." Verse 5. "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment." And listen. "And I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life." If Yeshua said, "I will not blot his name for the Book of Life," this is a believer that is an overcomer. That means that there is the ones who are unregenerated ones, which he will blot of the Book of Life. And here we find out Revelation chapter 20. "Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life," that means that that person or those individuals that were in that great white throne judgment, their name was no longer in the Book of Life.

Because their name had been blotted because they have left this world through death without the knowledge of a savior, of sins forgiven. And their name had been blotted from the Book of Life. Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Now please go to Revelation chapter 13 for a moment, because I want to distinguish now the Lamb's Book of Life from the Book of Life. Revelation chapter 13, and look at verse 8. "All that dwell upon the earth shall worship Him." This is the false Messiah in the Tribulation period. This is in the middle of the Tribulation. "Whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world." This is a different book altogether.

And their names were not written in the Lamb's Book of Life because they have not accepted the Messiah. One more verse please, Revelation 21. Is there a connection with this? It is verse 27. "And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiles us, neither whatsoever worketh the abomination, or maketh a lie, but they which are written in the Lamb's Book of Life." Again, it is the Lamb's Book of Life that is spoken here in Revelation 13 and Revelation 21. And it is to be distinguished from the Book of Life or the Book of the Living. Now I want to wrap this up and we're going to close it now with a final verse here.

Now what's going to happen? Here is the end. Now really, when we get to the end of Revelation chapter 20, this is the end of all the kingdom age, the messianic age, the end of everything. The judgment has been presented to the regenerated people. This is the final verse here before we're going to enter into the eternal order. By the time we get to chapter 21 and 22, we're really looking at the new heavens and the new earth of the eternal order. Where no sin is going to be anymore. Where no sorrow, no tears, no sadness. That is the eternal order. But how it's going to come into conclusion, it is interesting also to see.

And with the final verse, I want us to turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 15. And that's the last verses that I'm going to read for today. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 and verse 24. Paul is writing and he says, "Then cometh the end, when he," this is the Messiah, Jesus, "have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power, for he must reign until he have put all his enemies unto his feet." Paul gives us an interesting information now. We find out that at the end of the kingdom age, after Yeshua reigned for a thousand years, after Satan was loosed, for a short time, after God judged all the people who gather against Jerusalem and the saints, the people of Israel, and then the great white throne judgment, after all unbelievers going to be cast into the lake of fire.

Then you know what the Messiah is going to do? As it says here in 1 Corinthians 15 verse 24, the end is going to come. And the Messiah will deliver the kingdom unto the Father. When the son who reigns as king over the kingdom of the nation of Israel, the millennial age, the millennial kingdom, he himself is going to hand everything ultimately to the Father. And it says here, even the Father, when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and all power. Ultimately, brothers and sisters, even the Messiah Jesus is going to present the kingdom to God the Father. And that ultimately, as it says in the scripture here, that God may be all in all.

As it says, all authority, all rule and all power, he will present it ultimately to the Father. And from here on, we are entering now in Revelation 21 and 22, into the eternal order, when we are no longer going to experience sin and sorrow and trials. And ultimately, there will be no longer death, by the way, no more death at all, no more death in the eternal order. Only up to the end of the millennial age, death is still going to occur here in this world. I trust that I gave you some small information concerning future days at the end of the millennial age. May the Lord bless those thoughts to all of us and encourage us.

And if there is anyone here that is not a believer, I can encourage you today to trust the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, accept him as your Lord and Savior, and recognize that the only way to have sins forgiven is because somebody else paid this price for you. And that one was Jesus, Yeshua, our Messiah. Can you say amen to that? Amen.
