Well God bless you my dear friends we say Shabbat Shalom to everyone welcome to the Bible classes of the Holy Scriptures in Israel where we study the Word of God one book at a time one chapter at a time one verse at a time and with the Lord's help We are now finding ourselves in the book of Revelation. We began the study of Revelation in our previous meeting together. And so this is the second message on the book of Revelation. If you have a Bible with you, we'll be happy if you can open it so you can listen to the Word of God, but read it for yourself.

So open to Revelation chapter 1. And we are going to begin with verse 4 today in the reading of this first chapter. But we will ask the Lord to bless the meeting first, and then we will continue with the reading. So, our God and our Father, we ask your blessing upon us as we read the amazing book of Revelation. Bless us, help us to understand your word, to rightly divide the word of truth, and set before us the person of our Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, we pray, for we ask all this in his precious name. Amen. Amen. Well, let us turn to Revelation 1, and we'll begin with the reading today from verse 4.

And so I'm reading Revelation chapter 1 and verse 4. Who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the Kings of the earth, unto him that loves us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and has made us Kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him. And all the kinders of the earth shall wail because of him even so. Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord which is, and which was, and which is to come.

I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet, saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and what thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia, unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me, and behind, and being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, or lampstands, was one like unto the Son of Man, clothed with garment down to the foot, girt about the chest with a golden girdle. His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire, and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace, and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword.

And his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not, I am the first and the last. I am he that liveth and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, or the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter, the mystery of the seven stars which thou sowest in my right hand, And the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars, are the angels of the seven churches.

And the seven lampstands, which thou sowest, are the seven churches. And here I am, beloved brothers and sisters. I've read for us all Revelation chapter 1, verses 4 to 20 once again. So we will have this whole chapter set before us. Which will help us to kind of get the full picture as we are now entering into this very important book, the book of Revelation. Now, remember, it is Revelation singular, not Revelations plural, And the word Revelation, simply in the Greek, apocalypsis. And the word apocalypsis simply means the unveiling. God is unveiling before us the person of our Lord, Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah, who is the darling of his bosom.

God wants to set him before us because he is the one who is, on the one hand, he is the one that is the Savior of sinners. He is the eternal one, the one that came from heaven to provide himself as a lamb of God, to take upon himself the sin of this world. But he is also, beloved brothers and sisters, the King of Kings, the King of Israel, the Lord of lords. And one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Well, we have, beloved brothers and sisters, covered in the first three verses of Revelation chapter 1.

We have had said before us the introduction to the book of Revelation we have also learned and i'm going to emphasize it again the apostle John wrote that book at about 95 96 a.d the latest one that he have written he was an older man by now and he wrote that he received the Revelation when he was on the island of Patmos at about 95 96 a.d while all the disciples and apostle have already passed away Yohanan ben zavday the fisherman from the galil the one whom Jesus loved the one who sat in the in the Passover in pesach and and leaned on Jesus breast he is the one the man of affection the man of love Yohanan the son of Zabadai whose brother was Yaakov James he received this amazing Revelation of Jesus the Messiah it was to him that Yeshua Jesus the Messiah said while he was on the cross behold thy mother and he have entrusted to Yohanan ben zabdai he has entrusted to him his own mother Miriam and Yohanan took Miriam into his own house.

Into his own home and took care of her this is so beautiful beloved brothers and sisters to learn concerning the writer of this book of Revelation. So we have covered the first three verses and in the first three verses we have learned the introduction. Verse 1, the subject of the of the book is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Singular, not revelations, but Revelation. One ongoing unfolding of the Revelation, the unveiling of the person of the Lord Yeshua, Jesus, the Messiah. We have learned that God, it was God the Father, gave it unto him, God the Son, Jesus the Messiah, who gave it unto an angel, according to verse 1, the angel gave it unto Yohanan, that is John, And Yohanan gave it unto the servants, and that's the servants are all of us who belong to the Lord and are the servants of the Lord, Yeshua the Messiah.

So the word apocalypsis in Hebrew, chazon or hidgalut, in the Greek apocalypsis simply mean the unveiling, the unveiling. The word apocalypsis is used some 18 times in the New Covenant and mentioned the first time in Luke 2 32 and also in Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 17 mentioned the last time in Revelation chapter 1 and here in verse 1 the Revelation of Jesus Christ of Yeshua HaMashiach and to remind you that the Lord Jesus the Messiah is according to the word of God God want to give him the pinnacle of the universe. God is the one that set his son, the Messiah, to be the one that everything is centered around him.

We read in Revelation in Colossians chapter 1 and verse 18, he is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, and he is the firstborn from the dead that in all things he might have their preeminence God want him to have their preeminence why because he's got the son number one he became a man number two he died for the sin of this world not for his own sins but for your sins and mine and he's the one that pleased God from the moment. That he entered into this world when he was born to the Virgin Miriam in the city of Bethlehem until he died on the shameful Roman cross and was buried and rose again and that's why God said in Psalm 110 sit thou at my right hand until I will make thine enemies thy footstool that's the man of God's counsel, the Revelation of Yeshua HaMashiach, of Jesus Christ.

In verse 2, we have learned that John is really, he bears witness of what he saw. You remember we read in verse 2 about John who bears record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all the things which he saw. John is now bearing witness by writing down this book of Revelation. He bear witness to the testimony, the Word of God, the testimony concerning the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and of all the things that he saw here in the vision on the island of Patmos. Then we have also learned from verse 3 that there is a promise of blessing. This is the only book in the Word of God that begins with the promise of blessing and concludes with the promise of blessing to those who read that book.

Verse 3 tells us, Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy. And thirdly, and keep those things which are written therein, for the time is at hand. You remember Revelation 1, verse 3, there is a promise of blessing. In Revelation chapter 22, verse 7 and verse 14, there is a promise of blessing to all those that read the book, that hear what it says, but not only that, also that keep those things which are written therein. In other words, all that which is written in this book of Revelation to keep them in a sense of hold on holding on to the truth of what it says here in the book of Revelation to keep them in a sense of submitting to it acknowledging that and and ultimately beloved brothers and sisters obeying the word of the Lord this is fascinating to see the only book in the word of God the book of Revelation begin with the promise of brachot bracha blessings and conclude with the word blessing for those that read it hear it and and abide by it and keep the things which are written therein for the time is at hand in other words what does that mean the time is at hand in other words watch for it because once it is going to come all what is written here in the whole book of Revelation.

Once it began, once the time will start, and it immediately will come to fruition. The time is at hand. You know, 2,000 years passed by since. John received the book of Revelation, and we are still waiting for the fulfillment of all what is written therein, but the time is at hand because the moment that the time will come and God will unleash his judgment upon the face of this earth the time will flow very quickly and the end of the judgment of this world the restoration of the Messiah will come to this world that his second coming the church will be a blessing here in this world the nation of Israel will be restored the messianic kingdom will come to pass and ultimately the eternal order Revelation 21 and 22 so now that we cover this we are now in verses four to eight beloved brothers and sisters in verses four to eight the apostle Yohanan of course a greeting the seven local churches in Asia Minor now you will notice that that the letter is addressed to the seven churches and it is from a the triune God this is very interesting while there is only one God shema Israel Adonai eloheinu Adonai echad.

Hero Israel the Lord our God the Lord is one but that God of Israel that God of the universe is existing and consisting in the three persons within the Godhead. Ha'Abba the father, ha'ben the son, and ha'uach the Spirit. And you notice in the next verses, notice in verses 4 and verse 5a that the letter is addressed to the seven churches specifically in Asia Minor, present-day turkey John receiving the Revelation on the island of Patmos which is present-day Greece but he's sending the Lord Jesus the Messiah sending through John the letter to the seven assemblies that are now present-day turkey known as Asia Minor i'm reading verse four John notice that Yohanan to the seven churches which are in Asia Asia here is Asia Minor Asia Minor is present-day Turkey.

And so John is addressing now himself in this letter to the seven churches. And beloved brothers and sisters, it's very interesting, which are in Asia. Now, there were many more churches, many more local assemblies. The word for church comes from the Greek word ekklesia, called out ones. He's not writing to buildings, he's not writing to structures, he's not writing to a steeple or to some sort of stained glass windows on a building, he's writing to a gathered saints, local believers, Jewish and gentle believers in Asia Minor, who came to know the Lord Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, the Messiah, Lord and Savior, and they are located in Asia Amino and so he's writing to them beloved brothers and sisters unto the seven churches and I want you to remember beloved brothers and sisters the Lord Jesus the Messiah said in in in Matthew 16 and verse 18 I will build my assembly and the gates of Hades will Hades will not prevail against it the word for church ecclesia is simply means called out ones they called out Jewish believers and they called out gentle believers and they are forming a church an assembly of believers and they live in a various localities and there were seven localities in Asia Minor present-day Turkey, where there were gathering saints of God, believers in Yeshua the Messiah, who were.

Gathering together as an assembly. So the letters were addressed to these seven churches. Now you might say, why only to seven? Why not to eight or ten? There were many others. Colossae was in Asia Minor. Why not to other local assemblies? We have First Thessalonians. We have even the church in Jerusalem why didn't he write to the local assembly in Jerusalem well the seven churches of Asia Minor beloved brothers and sisters really representing the whole church of the living God the whole assembly of the believers worldwide and therefore when he's writing to the seven churches notice the number seven is mentioned here beloved brothers and sisters and I would like you to notice that in the word of God the number seven is a prominent many times you'll hear the number seven mentioned in the word of God the first time you hear the number seven it speaks of completeness or fullness the full number we find the first time of course is in Genesis chapter two verse.

One two and three because the the the God rested on the Shabbat day on the seventh day and he finished the work of creation and he rested that's the only day of the week according to the word of God that has a name every other day yom rishon yom shani yom shlishi yom revii yom hamishi yom shishi the first day the second day the third day the fourth day the fifth day the sixth day, they don't have names. I know people give Sunday, the day of the sun in English, moon day, the day of the moon. These are pagan names. But the only name in the Bible that has, the only day in the Word of God that has a name is Shabbat, Saturday.

The Hebrew, the English, of course, it's Saturn day. You know, they gave it the name that is also pagan. But the only biblical name that is given to a day is the day, the Shabbat day. And God finished, he speaks of completeness, and you will find in the book of Revelation, just like in what we call the. Hebrew Scripture, the Old Testament, many times the number is seven. But specifically here in Revelation, you have the seven churches in Revelation 1 and verse 4, seven letters in Revelation 2, seven spirits in Revelation 1 and 3 and 4 and 5, seven lampstands in Revelation 1, 12 and so on, 1 verse 12 and so on, and then seven stars in Revelation 1, seven seals in Revelation five, seven horns in Revelation five, seven eyes in Revelation five, seven angels in Revelation eight, seven trumpets in Revelation eight, seven thunders in Revelation 10, seven heads in Revelation 12, seven crowns in Revelation 12, seven plagues in Revelation 15, seven hills in Revelation 17 and seven Kings in Revelation 17 you will find the number seven mentioned many many times in the book of Revelation why because it speaks of the full number of completeness and really what we are learning from this book of Revelation that we are heading this this book brings us to the final conclusion and the final days in which God will be all in all ultimately.

And the number seven represents before us the full number the completeness the the fullness and that's why the number seven is found many times in the book of Revelation and it began here John verse 4 to the seven churches which are in Asia Minor and he continued notice he is in verse 4 he is addressing the seven local assemblies from whom from the Godhead from all the three persons of the Godhead it says in verse 4b grace be unto you and peace peace come from the the irine or shalom in Hebrew and notice from where he is greeting them these seven local assemblies local churches number one it is from him which is and which was and which is to come this is a God the father Elohim ha'Abba he is he he was and is to come he is the Yehovah the Lord of all the the ever existing God then he continued and he says in verse 4 and from the seven spirits which are before his throne now this is very interesting the seven spirits it's not that God.

Has seven holy spirits there's only one holy Spirit within the person of the Godhead but this one Holy Spirit is presented before us in the attribute, the seven full attributes of the Holy Spirit of God. In fact, I would like you to turn to the prophet Isaiah for a moment. Turn with me to Isaiah, Isaiah chapter 11, and you will notice, beloved brothers and sisters, in Isaiah chapter 11, that the sevenfold Spirit of God, which rested upon the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, are presented before us here, the sevenfold Holy Spirit of God presented before us here in Isaiah chapter 11. And again, remember, beloved brothers and sisters, most of what we will read in the book of Revelation from chapter 1 to chapter 20 is already recorded for us throughout the Hebrew Scriptures throughout the Tanakh it is a mention somehow you can relate it to to what was said in previous days to the nation of Israel in in the what is known the old testament or the Tanakh the Hebrew Scriptures in Isaiah chapter 11 and verse 1 we read and there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and the branch shall grow out of his roots.

And notice that it says in verse 2, and the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him. This is one. The spirit of wisdom. This is two. And understanding. This is three. The spirit of counsel. This is four. And of might. This is five. The spirit of knowledge. This is six. And of the fear of the Lord. This is seven. The sevenfold Holy Spirit of God, the attributes of the Holy Spirit of God, which resided on the person of the Lord Jesus, who is here in Isaiah chapter 11, is called that there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots through Jesse through Yishai through David will come a branch will come a rod a netzer a choter and that netzer that choter is one of the title of the Messiah Yeshua and he will rise out from the house of Jesse through the family of David, Melech Israel, and upon him the Spirit of the Lord will rest upon the Messiah who will come.

And there is only one Holy Spirit, but we have here the sevenfold Spirit of God is the attribute of the Spirit of God that is rested upon the Messiah so back to Revelation chapter 1 and verse 4 the letter addressed by John but in. Actuality it is written to the seven churches in Asia Minor representing the whole full number of churches worldwide assembly of the living God and it is from God the Father who is who was and who is to come it is from God the Holy Spirit which is the sevenfold spirits which are before his throne and notice verse 5a the first part of verse 5 and from and from Jesus Christ and from Yeshua HaMashiach Jesus is his name Jesus is in Greek Yeshua is in Hebrew Christ is his title the Messiah the Mashiach the christos in the Greek Christ in the English Mashiach in the Hebrew it is written by John but in actuality it is from God the father the one that is was and to come from God the holy Spirit which is the seven spirits which are before the throne one person of the holy Spirit of God and from Jesus Christ who is the faithful witness notice how beautiful beloved brothers and sisters he is called here the Lord Jesus the Messiah the Lord Yeshua.

Is called here the the notice the faithful witness he is the faithful witness in other words the Lord Jesus the Messiah Yeshua he is the faithful witness to the truth of God. You remember what we read in the Gospel of John when they ask him, show us the Father and we will suffice. And you remember what Yeshua responded when he said, he that sees me sees the Father. You want to know God? You can see God in the person of the Messiah, of the Son. He that has seen me has seen the Father. And therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, you can see that the Lord Yeshua, the Lord Jesus, was a faithful witness.

And when you think about the faithful witness of the Lord Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah, think about his life. He gave witness to the truth of the Word of God. He gave witness to the truth that there is only one God. And that God loves so much the world that he gave his son to this world to provide redemption for mankind. He is faithful. He is the only one that ever was faithful throughout the whole history or from the time that he was born until the time that he died. Many, many rose here in this world who were faithful. But they failed during their lifetime. But he's only one who lived in perfection here in this world, and that is Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, the faithful witness.

This is verses 4 and verse 5a. The letters were written to the seven local assembly in Asia Minor, representing four Numbers, that's representing all the worldwide assembly, church. And the letter was written to you and to me and to any local church anywhere in the world. And these seven assemblies, seven churches representing the fullness, the completeness, the full information for all those that belong to the Lord. And it was written from the whole triune Godhead. Ha'Abba, the Father. Ha'ben, the Son. Ha'uach, the Spirit. And so now notice after we learn that it was written from the triune God then we learn in verse 5b that Jesus the Messiah remember Yeshua the Messiah Jesus Christ he's also called here the firstborn and the prince notice it says here verse 5b is for he's the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the Kings of the earth now the Lord Jesus the Lord Yeshua the Messiah is the first begotten of the dead he is the first one that begot in other words he he rose from the to die no more you see there were many many who came to this world died and were even resurrected but they died again but here beloved brothers and sisters the Messiah was the first born in other words he received the title the position as the in his rank as the first above everyone else go back to Colossians for a moment in Colossians chapter 1 listen to what we read beloved brothers and sisters verse 15 Colossians chapter 1 and verse 15 16 17 and 18 listen to what the apostle.

Paul says concerning the Lord Jesus notice he says in in verse 12 giving thanks unto the father which have made us to meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light who delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son, the son of his love. And then he continues and he says in verse 14, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. And then Paul doesn't stop here. He says in verse 15, about the Lord Jesus the Messiah, who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. Notice the word a firstborn.

Not only, it's not only that he was born first. Of course, he was not born first because others were born before him. But the firstborn has to do with a position with a title it's like when a king will come to his own country he received a title as the firstborn he received the the the place as the the highest place and so we find out in verse 15 that the Yeshua is the image of the invisible God that's the Lord Jesus and he's the first begotten of every creature there were many here in this world who were were great position great servants of the Lord great Kings great people here in this world but the Lord Jesus the Messiah has the title the highest title the first begotten of every creature in his position, in his position.

He was not born first, because others were born before him, but he is the firstborn. He has the title of the firstborn of every creature. And why? Because by him are all things created. He is the creator. Things that are in heaven, verse 16, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominion or principalities or power, all things were created by him, but also for him. He is before all things, and by him all things consists. And he's the head of the body, the church, the assembly. Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence?

So, beloved brothers and sisters, John, in chapter 1 of Revelation, in verse 5 at the end, telling and writing to the local assemblies in Asia Minor, to these seven local assemblies, he's saying to them, listen, I'm greeting you from the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And I want you to know that the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, he is the one that is the firstborn he is the prince he is the prince as it says here of the Kings he is the highest of all he has the preeminence and I know brothers and sisters that we live in a time when many despise the name of Yeshua he is rejected by mankind while God wants to set him in the pinnacle of the universe.

God has loved his Son, the Messiah, so much, the Lord Jesus, that he said to him, Sit thou at my right hand until I will make thine enemies thy footstool. Oh yes, he is rejected and despised today. But one day, beloved brothers and sisters and dear friends, He will be the one that, as it says here in verse 5, the prince of the Kings of the earth. Kings will bow before him. Kings will recognize who he is because he is king of Kings, because he is Lord of lords. But it doesn't stop here in verse 5. It continues in verse 5, and it says at the end of verse 5, Unto him that loveth us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

John kind of, he's pausing here, and as he's speaking about the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus, he doesn't just say, oh, yes, he's the preeminent, he's the one that is the first begotten, the firstborn in his title and position. But he's reminding the believers there at the seven churches in Asia Minor know that he loved them and that he washed their sins with his very own blood beloved brothers and sisters he's saying at the end of verse 5 unto him it's like he's he's kind of opening with a with a declaration with praise and he says unto him that loved us me Yohanan John and you the local believers in the local assemblies in these seven churches in Asia Minor he loved us and he washed us from our sins how in his own blood he died for us he paid for our sins not his own but ours not for his own sins because he was sinless but for you and I he died on a shameful cross he washed our sins away by his own blood remember that God said to Israel it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul in other words blood must be shed atonement must be made an animal must be killed as a substitute the just one for the unjust pointing to the Mashiach.

To the Messiah who will die for our sins for the sins of the world and he died for us because he loved us you know sometimes we forget that the Lord loves us not not only that he loved us some 2 000 years ago when he came but he loves us today you know i often love to read these four verses that are found in the word of God in relationship of the love of the Lord John 3 16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish but have everlasting love a life the love of God for the whole world then we read in the prophet Jeremiah when God speak to his earthly people Israel he says to Israel i have loved you with with an everlasting love God said to his people earthly people Israel my love for you is eternal and then the apostle Paul reminded us when he wrote to the Ephesians to the church he says for Christ loved the church the Messiah loved the assembly.

And gave himself for her. There is a unique love towards the church, the assembly, the heavenly company. But then it's even further. In Galatians 2 and verse 20, the Apostle Paul said, the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Beloved brothers and sisters, unto him that loves us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. That's what he had to do in order to provide for us salvation. We are sinners by nature. And what shall wash our sins away? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing but the blood of Yeshua. And so now that he mentioned these, he continued in verses 6 and 7 and 8 in Revelation chapter 1, in verse 6, he said, look what the Lord Jesus have done, what Yeshua have done.

He made us a kingdom of priesthood. It says in verse 6, he said, and has made us Kings and priests, or more correct, a kingdom of priesthood of priests and to God and his father to him be glory and dominion forever and ever Amen in other words you and I beloved brothers and sisters who are washed by the blood of the lamb we are part of a kingdom of priests and what do the priests do the priest minister they serve This is what a priest does. Peter tells us that we are holy priesthood and we are also royal priesthood. The holy priest going into the presence of the Lord to present God's people before the Lord.

The royal priest come out from the presence of the Lord and presenting God before the people. That is what the ministry of the priest is. And you and I, today, in this present day of the church age, are called the kingdom of priests. You see, in days of old, when it's come to our people of old, the people of Israel, only the people from the tribe of Levi could become priests and served in the temple, in the tabernacle first and in the temple. Only for one tribe, Levi. In the future day, the whole nation of Israel during the millennial age, the kingdom age, will be a priestly nation.

But you and I today are kingdom of priesthood. We, as it says here in verse 6, as it says, we have made us Kings and priests, kingdom of priesthood, or kingdom of priests, unto God the Father, To him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. And now as John continues, and really the whole theme of the book of Revelation is the Lord Jesus, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, but now it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, of Yeshua HaMashiach, not so much as in relation to his first coming, But it is in relation to his second coming. And that's why it says in verse 7, Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him, and all kinders of the earth shall wail because of him, even so.

Amen. John is directing the seven local churches, the seven local assemblies, and he's directing all believers concerning their second coming. You see, the Lord Yeshua, Jesus, came already once. In fact, when John was writing or receiving this book of Revelation at about 96, 95, 96 AD, Yeshua have already died, he was buried, he rose again, he ascended, and he seated at God's right hand. He finished the walk of redemption. But he's coming again. He's coming again to take his rightful place here in this world. He's coming. Notice what it says in verse 7. Beautiful. Yeshua, Jesus, is coming he is coming back and every eye shall see him every eye shall see him the shekinah glory will come with his second coming the bright light of the second coming of the Messiah there will be all will be the will be able to see the coming the second coming of the Lord Jesus every eye notice that every eye shall see him notice he is coming with clouds now this is also very interesting beloved brothers and sisters what does that mean that he is coming with clouds this is very interesting because the clouds of course when we think about the clouds we think.

About the clouds that are right in the sky, that are filled with water, with rain, and so on. But it's not only this, he's coming with those that will come with him, beloved brothers and sisters. And I just want to make reference to some verses. If you turn with me to the Gospel of Matthew in chapter 24 Matthew chapter 24 there we already read concerning the second coming of the Messiah listen to these verses Matthew chapter 24 verses 29 and verse 30 i'll read verse 27 first First of all, for as the lightning cometh out of the east, and his shyness even unto the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.

That word Son of Man in Hebrew, Ben HaAdam, is one of the messianic titles of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, taken from Daniel chapter 7 and verse 13. So shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Verse 28 for wheresoever the carcass is there will the eagles be gathered together immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken and then verse 30 of Matthew chapter 24 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

You see beloved brothers and sisters when the Lord Jesus the Messiah came at His first coming He came in humility as the Lamb of God which came to take away the sin of this world. As a Lamb He was led to the slaughter. He opened not His mouth. All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to His own way. And the Lord laid upon Him the iniquity of us. All Isaiah predicted that before the Messiah came. But now at his second coming, he's not coming as meek and lowly men as a lamb that will ultimately go to suffer for the sin of this world.

He's coming as King of Kings and Lord of lords with the power and great glory. And every eye shall see him, beloved brothers and sisters, Matthew 24 and verse 30, the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And notice the whole earth will, the whole tribe, all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man. They shall see at Ben Ha'Adam, Ben Ha'Adam, the Son of Man, the sinless one who came once to die and to pay for the sin of this world. He cometh with clouds. John is saying in Revelation chapter 1 and verse 7, and every eye shall see him.

No one will be exempt with the ability to see him when he's going to come with the Shekinah glory, the Shekinah, the manifestation of the glory of God will be evident in the clouds of heavens at the second coming of the Messiah. Just to remind you, that a wise man, according to Matthew chapter 22, when they saw his star in the east, the Shekinah glory, his star in the east, and the star, the Shekinah, moved from east to west to Jerusalem, then later on to Bethlehem. And they followed the star, the Shekinah, the Shekinah glory, the manifestation of the person of the Messiah at his birth.

Now at his second coming he's going to come in power and in great glory he's coming with the clouds and in the cloud there's a verse in the book of Jude turn to Jude just one page back in your Bible in the book of yehuda Jude we read in verse 14 and Enoch chanoch also the seven from Adam prophesied of this saying behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints you see he's not only going going to come in the cloud and with the cloud but he's going to come with ten thousands of his saints you and i beloved brothers and sisters who are part of the ecclesia who will be raptured and taken to heaven before the tribulation period we will come with him at the second coming, at the end of the tribulation.

He's coming with his saints. Very, very interesting, beloved brothers and sisters. I just want to read one more verse in Matthew chapter 26. Notice what we read in Matthew chapter 26, and there we read at the end there in Verses 63 and 64, but Jesus held his peace. Verse 63 of Matthew 26, and the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjured thee by the living God that thou tell us whether thou be the Messiah, the Son of God. Verse 64 says, Yeshua saith unto him, thou hast said, nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the son of man ben ha-Adam sitting on the right hand of the power and coming in clouds in the clouds of heaven with the shekinah glory you see before his death he told to the high priest of Israel you will see ben ha-Adam you will see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven amazing beloved brothers and sisters he's going to come with the angels he's going to come with the assembly the ecclesia the church with him he's coming to restore his people Israel at the end of the tribulation and establish a kingdom here upon the face of this earth where every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus the Messiah is Lord to the glory of God the Father notice and I'm back to Revelation chapter 1 and verse 7 it says here and every eye shall see him and they which pierce him this is in reference to the people of Israel and if you remember although.

It was the Romans who pierced him and placed him on the cross but here in the context it's applied to the people of Israel as the prophet Zechariah says in Zechariah chapter 12 and verse 10 we do read and they shall mourn others and I will pour upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced this is Zechariah chapter 12 and verse 10 and they shall mourn for him as one mourners for his only son and shall be in bitterness for him as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn so our people of Israel as a nation will mourn and recognize that he is indeed the promised Mashiach the promised Messiah the son of man ben haadam the one that came at his first coming and was rejected and despised and the one that will come at his second coming and be accepted and be acknowledged that.

He is indeed the one that is the promised one of God and so in verse 7 we read about his coming Behold, he is coming with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierce him. And notice, all the kinders of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. All the nations, all the kinders of the earth, which today reject him. And sadly, over the 2,000 years since the first coming of the Lord Jesus, many rejected him and despised him and sadly at the second coming of the Messiah there will be many that will be here on earth who will still be alive and they will have to see the Shekhinah the Shekhinah glory the Messiah coming with his glory and he will come to this earth in power and in great glory and everyone will see that truly he was indeed that promised one you know i was just thinking about this this morning as i was preparing for this message throughout the ministry of the Lord Jesus the Messiah here on earth in fact throughout the 33 and a half years of him being here on earth he veiled his glory he appeared and he looked upon as one of the people of Israel among his own brother and his own people.

The only time that his glory, what we might say, had been evident and seen was at a mountain of that transfiguration. You remember when Peter, James, and John were there and when. All of a sudden God had revealed his son before these three men and you remember what he said to them beloved brothers and sisters in Matthew chapter 17 you remember what we read and i'm just going to read these verses and it says while yet they speak behold a bright cloud overshadow them and then we read and behold a voice came out of the cloud and said this is my beloved son in whom i'm well please hear you him you see beloved brothers and sisters when Yeshua Jesus the Messiah transfigured before before them Peter James and John his face did shine as the sun his raiment was white as light beloved brothers and sisters how wonderful to see that his glory was now seen only for a short season but throughout his life here on earth for the 33 and a half years, Yeshua, Jesus, veiled His glory.

He came in humility. He came to pay for the sin of this world, but He is coming again. Behold, He cometh with cloud, and every eye shall. See Him. And they also which pierce Him, and all the kinders of the earth shall wail because of Him even so. Amen. And so now, finally, in verse 8, so we can close with this for today, beloved brothers and sisters in verse 8 notice what Yeshua Jesus the Messiah is saying to Yohanan to John he's saying I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end says the Lord which is and which was and which is to come the Almighty notice now now the Lord Jesus the Lord Yeshua is speaking to Yohanan to John and he's saying to John John i am the beginning and i'm the end i'm the Alpha and Omega i'm that one and he continues and he says i am i am also the one which is and the one which world and which the one which is to come in other words i'm the eternal one the eternal son.

You remember that we read previously in verse 4 that the word from him that is and which was and which is to come in verse 4, this is in reference to God the Father, Elohim Ha'Abba. But in verse 8 is in reference to God the Son, who also is and was and is to come. You know that this is fascinating why because who can save sinners can any other man save sinners we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God all of us Jewish Gentile male female all of us have sinned boys and girls we all are fallen into sin we have inherited the sin nature we can never save others we can never redeem anyone the only one that can redeem anyone he is the one that came from heaven and took union human nature with his divine nature and as man sinless man he died for our sins he is the eternal one beloved brothers and sisters he is the one that of himself we read here in verse 8 i am the Alpha and Omega i'm the beginning at the end he never had a beginning he never has an end when the beginning began he was there in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God all things were made by him and without him nothing was made which was made in him was.

Life and the life was the light of man and the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not he is the eternal one beloved friends beloved brothers and sisters that's why he could become a man that was born to the virgin Miriam sin apart that's why he could be the Mashiach the Messiah who would die for the sin of this world and as we read in verse five unto him that loved us and wash us from our sins in his own blood. That's why he could become a substitute, the just one for us, the unjust, in order to bring us to God. So he's the Alpha and Omega.

He's the beginning and he's the ending, says the Lord. And he's the one which is and which was and which is to come let me close with this since we were little boys in the land of Israel in our homes we were always taught that we can never use the word Jehovah yahweh because that's the sacred name of God and we are not to use that name in vain. So whenever we ever arrive to the word of God when the word Jehovah Jehovah was there We always change it with the word Adonai, lest we will carelessly use the name of God, according to Exodus chapter 3, carelessly.

So we were taught not to use the name Yehovah, but to replace it with the name Adonai, or as we say in Hebrew, Hashem, the name. But if you will take the name Jehovah in the Hebrew language, it has four letters, Yud, Hei, Vav, Hei, Yahweh. And if you will rearrange that very same letters, you will have three Hebrew words. And the three Hebrew word is was Haya is Hove will be Yehiyeh using the only four Hebrew letters that are found there in the name Jehovah and here we learn that he is the eternal one it says I am the Alpha and Omega Revelation 1 verse 8 I am the beginning and the ending Revelation 1 verse 8, sayeth the Lord, which is, hoveh, which was, haya, which is to come, yehyeh, the Almighty, the Almighty, wonderful truth to learn concerning the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the Almighty One, co-equal with God the Father, co-equal with God the Holy Spirit, one God, three persons within the Godhead, who wrote this book to the seven churches and addressed them to the seven assemblies in Asia Minor.

And now John is going to begin to unfold before us all the many lessons that he want to teach us concerning the Revelation the hidgalut in Hebrew the unfolding the apelopsis concerning the person the Revelation the apelopsis concerning the person of the Lord Jesus the Messiah the one that is revealed before us here beloved brothers and sisters in this book of Revelation And that is where we're going to close the apocalypses, I should say, apocalypses, the unveiling of the person of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah. And as we are going to continue to study the book of Revelation, we will learn this one verse at a time, one chapter at a time.

We'll see what the Lord has before us until, in the will of the Lord, we'll conclude someday the study of the book of Revelation in the will of the Lord. So, we give thanks, our God and our Father, for the wonderful person of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, who is the Eternal One, the Almighty.
