Okay, Shalom, everyone. I'd like you to take your Bibles, please, today, and turn to the prophet Yoel in... Joel 1, verse 15 to chapter 2, and I'll read to verse 11. We'll read from Joel 1, verse 15 to chapter 2, verse 11, and I'm reading. Alas, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes? Yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God! The seed is rotten under their clods! The garners are laid desolate! The barns are broken down, for the corn is withered! How do the beasts groan? The sheep are made desolate!

O Lord, to Thee will I cry, for the fire has devoured the pasture of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field! The beasts of the field cry also unto thee, for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pasture of the wilderness. Blow the trumpet in Zion! And sound the alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord cometh! For it is nigh at hand! A day of darkness, and of gloominess, a day of clouds, and of thick darkness! As the morning spread upon the mountains, a great people and a strong, there has not been ever the like.

Neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them, and behind them. A flame burneth. The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness. Yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is the appearance of horses. And as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the top of the mountains, shall they leap. Like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble. As a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained. All faces shall gather blackness.

They shall run like mighty men. They shall climb the wall like men of war. And they shall march every one on his way. And they shall not break their ranks. Neither shall one thrust another. They shall walk every one in his path. And when they shall fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city. They shall run upon the wall. They shall climb upon the houses. They shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quack before them. The heavens shall tremble. The sun and the moon shall be dark. And the stars shall withdraw their shining.

And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army. For his camp is very great. For he is strong that executes his word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible. And who shall abide it? And I stop here. I said earlier when we began to study the book of Joel. Is that the reason that came across my mind to study the book of Joel. Is because of the fact that we have been just finishing to study. And to speak about the Feast of Weeks. And how the Holy Spirit of God came from heaven. When the beginning of the church age. When the church had been founded.

The Lord Jesus said in Matthew chapter 16. Something that was going to happen in the future. He says I will build my church. My ecclesia. My called out one. He never said I am building. He never said it had began to be built. He says I will build. He says I will build. Because it did not start until Acts chapter 2. By the time that the Holy Spirit of God came. Some of the three events that are going to happen in the tribulation period. Some like of these appearances and experiences that happened in the time when the church was born. And I feel before the Lord it is very well for all of us.

To study the prophets of Israel. And to see. And not only to see. And to rightly divide the word of truth. That we will not be making. Excuse me. The expression. Salad. Mixing up. That which is applied to the nation of Israel. That which is applied to the church of Jesus the Messiah. That which is applied to the world in general. It is essential for us as believers. To rightly divide the word of truth. As Timothy was told by the apostle Paul. Study. To show yourself a proven to God. A workman that needeth not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing the word of truth. Or cutting it in a straight line.

Why the church today is so messed up with teaching in views. Is because everybody has something to say. Everybody has a teaching to teach. And we are not carefully studying the word of God. What saith the Lord. What the scripture saith. That's why we live in such days. In which there are all form of doctrines are being taught. And we are all pulling in all kind of direction. And we do not know where to go. What to do. What to listen to. What is applying to us today. What is applying to the future nation of Israel. And this is the burden of my heart. As a Hebrew Christian.

As a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah. Who I love my nation Israel. But in the present day. I am part of the church of Jesus the Messiah. And I am not going to teach anything otherwise. It is very important for us to understand that. And as long that we are affiliated. And coming to these meetings. The burden of my heart is to teach what I learned from the word. And I am really exercise about it. If somebody has a challenge about it. Tell me. So I can be corrected. So we can look at the scripture. And see what the Lord is saying. The present day nation of Israel.

The present day nation of Israel. Do not believe in the Messiah today. And we can see them through and through. I am every year. Two, three times in the land of Israel. And the vast majority of my family and my people. Are blinded to Yeshua the Messiah. They need the Lord Jesus the Messiah. They are not saved in a different way than the nations of the world. They are saved on the basis of the blood that the Messiah shed for them and for you and I. Joel was writing to the nation of Israel in the past. About 800, 900 years prior to the coming of the Messiah.

The church was not even in view here in the book of Joel. The church was not even began when Joel was speaking about the future dealing of God with the nation of Israel. The first 14 verses that we have been speaking about. Speaking about the invasion that had happened in the time when Joel had been there among his own brethren. His own nation. There was an invasion of locusts. The land had been destroyed by the locusts. Wave after wave after wave. Four waves of locusts came and destroyed the land. And the people of Israel were in destitute. They were in a great need. God is calling his people to repent and to confess so he can bless them.

By the time we arrive to verse 14. It says there in verse 14. Sanctify the fast. Call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God and cry unto the Lord. Repent because of the condition that prevailed at the time in the land of Israel. Repent. Call a fast and come before the Lord and God will hear your cry. From verse 15 on beloved brothers and sisters and friends. We are moving now from a present invasion of locusts that happened then. To a future invasion that is going to happen in a future day. And I am going to show you this in a moment.

We are dealing right now. We are moving now from the time that Joel was living and preaching to the nation to a future day. And I want you to understand beloved brothers and sisters very clearly. That we, the prophets of Israel never saw the church age. They never saw this period of time that you and I are living in this present day. They never saw it. When they look, it's like looking at two mountains. They saw the first mountain. They saw the second mountain. They saw the coming of the Messiah to suffer and to die. And they saw the coming of the Messiah to reign in glory.

They never saw the valley in between. They never seen it. In fact, you read it anywhere that the prophets of all are speaking. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and all the major and minor prophets. They never speak about the church age. They always connect their message with the nation of Israel. Sufferings, rejection, punishment, glory. Acceptance of the Messiah. They have never mixed them up. They did not know the period of time in which you and I are living today. It was a mystery hid in God. They did not know. Read Ephesians chapter 3 when you have a chance. And that's why it is so important, beloved, as we are studying Joel.

It will be for your benefit. Now, if you think otherwise, it's fine. I'm not here to convince anybody or to force it on anybody. But that's what we believe. And that's what we teach. And we don't see things otherwise. If we could see otherwise, we would be glad to mention it and to teach it here from this pulpit. We believe that Israel is awaiting the day of the regathering. Until then, God is building the church. And when I mean the church, the ecclesia, the called out ones, it's something that is from among the nations of Israel and the nations of the world and uniting a body which is a heavenly company.

When the last person coming in and we are going to be taken out of here, God is going to begin his dealing with his earthly nation, the nation of Israel. And he's surely going to accomplish what he promised to the land. Now, to the people and to the land. Now, let's go quickly to go into our chapter. In verse 15, to the end of the chapter, verse 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20, those verses shows us a proclamation of the day of the Lord. You will notice that the first time that the word "the day of the Lord" is mentioned in the book of Yoel is here in verse 15. Here's the proclamation.

"Alas, for the day, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty, it shall come." Now, you'll notice that for a moment. Let's just pause here for a moment. The day of the Lord is not going to be a happy day. The world is not going to say, "Wow, I'm so happy that this day has come. It's the day of the Lord." Not at all. In fact, if you notice that, it says here in verse 15, "Alas, for the day, for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty, it shall come." It is a period of time when the Almighty, the El Shaddai, that we often hear in Hebrew, El Shaddai, the Almighty God, is going to pour upon this world a time of judgment and destruction.

The wrath of God, the wrath of a holy and a righteous God will be poured out upon a world that rejected the Messiah Yeshua, Yeshua, rejected His Son. It's going to be coming from Him. It's not going to be done by human power. It's going to be done by what the Lord will unleash upon a sinful world that rejected the only Son that He had. But you see, when judgment is going to come upon the world, the judgment is going to, first of all, always going to fall upon His very own people whom He loved dearly. And I want you to understand that privilege is coming with responsibility.

It's the same thing with the people of God, the church. Judgment must begin at the house of God. Judgment always will begin from the house of God. In other words, if God's people would go away from the will of God, God will judge His people first and then He's going to deal with the others around. And it's the same thing with the nation of Israel. The nation of Israel as a nation were a nation that is called, that were called to be a light to the nations of the world. Israel as a nation did not yet accomplish the mission that God had given to that nation.

And God will have to discipline His people first of all. It's very similar to us beloved brothers and sisters at the church as believers in Yeshua the Messiah today. We cannot be even a testimony and a light to people outside when we don't deal with our own problems. When we don't judge ourselves first of all, we cannot even help the someone outside. It is a practical lesson that God teaches us even in the present day church age. God going to unleash judgment upon this world. This world. So verse 15, it says here, Ahal layom ki karob yom Adonai. Karob yom Adonai is near. The day of the Lord is at hand.

He's coming. And so he says now in verse 16, what kind of a day it is going to be. We see the things that will happen in this particular time. It says here in verse 16. Is not the food cut off from before that your eyes? Yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God. Verse 17. The seed is rotten under the clouds. The garments are laid desolate. The barns are broken down and the corn is withered. Do you notice what the kind of a situation that will happen? Something very similar to what happened by the locust at the time of Joel will happen very similar to that.

Something in the future day, in the day of the Lord. In the tribulation period. There will be no food. There will be all kind of joy and gladness will depart from the house of God. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine the house of God when there is joy to be received and to give in the presence of God? Joy, it says in verse 16. And gladness will depart from the house of our God. There will be no happiness and no joy at that particular time because judgment is coming. The wrath of God is being poured upon this world because the people did not accept, did not follow up the instruction from God.

Notice what it says in verse 17. There will be a complete lack of sustenance. The seed is rotten under the cloths. The garners are laid desolate. The barns are broken down. The corn is withered. No sustenance. No food. Because again, because the judgment, the wrath of God is falling upon this world. And of course, it began from God's people, the nation of Israel, whom he will have to discipline them. Notice in verse 18. Even the beasts will have no pasture. The beasts, verse 18. How do the beasts groan? The herds of cattle are perplexed because they have no pasture. Yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. They cannot, even the animals who need to feed so they can get some meat on themselves so that people can eat, even the animals will have no pasture.

No place where they can receive food. And finally, you notice in verse 19 and 20. In verse 19, there will be fire that will devour the pasture. Fire. In verse 19. The old Lord, to thee will I cry, for the fire have devoured the pasture of the wilderness. And the flame has burned all the trees of the field. You see, this judgment that we are speaking about here, in verse 19, is a judgment now no longer like it was before with the locusts. But this time, it's a fire of judgment that will come, that God will allow to come upon the land and upon this earth. There will be this type of a judgment.

And of course, verse 20. The beast of the field will cry also unto thee, for the rivers of the waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness. There will be judgment after judgment after judgment after judgment. And that is what's going to happen in this particular time. Now, the question immediately coming to us, and we ask this question, well, if verses 1 to 14, the judgment that came then was a judgment of locusts, who is going to be allowed to do such a judgment as this? Who is going to be the one who is going to do this judgment? Because in verse 19 and 20, it's no longer the locusts eating the food and the plants.

This time, it is fire that is going to come upon the land. O Lord, I'm repeating verse 19. O Lord, to you I will cry, for the fire has devoured the pasture of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field. The beasts of the field cry also unto thee, for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pasture of the wilderness. The question immediately is for you and I to ask, how is this going to happen? And I told you earlier when we began our study of Joel, in the book of Joel, we have three invasions.

The first invasion is what we call locusts invasion, insects. They have invaded the land at the time of Joel. But the next invasion is no longer locust invasion, but you will see, and I'm going to connect it with Revelation in a moment, that the second invasion is much more than just a merely insect invasion. And it's not yet human invasion. You will see, when we're going to read Revelation chapter 9, that the second invasion is what we call a demonic invasion. Interesting enough, and I don't want us to be occupied with demons. It's not our job. Our job is to be occupied with the Lord Jesus, the Messiah.

I tell you. The more we are occupied with Him, the more joy He's going to give our hearts. The more we are occupied with Him, the more happy and satisfied we are going to be. But there are instructions in Scripture that we want to learn, and we're going to just learn that and move on forward. From verse 1 of chapter 2, all the way to verse 11, we see a description of this second invasion. And you're going to see, beloved brothers and sisters here, that it's not merely locusts invasion of chapter 1. It's not human invasion that we're going to have in chapter 3, but it is a demonic invasion that's going to occur in the tribulation period.

Somewhere in the first half of the tribulation. Look at this. Let me go with you verse by verse. First of all, in verse 1, they call to sound the alarm. It says in verse 1, blow ye the trumpets in Zion. Sound an alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand. Now the Lord is saying, and Joel is saying, prophetically speaking to the future day, he says, blow the trumpet in Zion. You read in the book of Numbers, God gave instruction to our people Israel to have two types of trumpets, or two trumpets to make, Numbers chapter 10.

And they are to sound the alarm for two reasons, and then there is a third reason. Reason number one, where there is the gathering of the people together into one place. Chapter 10, verse 1 and 2, in the beginning, they were blowing the trumpet, and the nation will gather themselves into one locality. Reason number two, they will blow the alarm. The second reason will be when there will be war approaching, and God will give the warning to the nation, because the war is approaching. But there is a third reason why the nation was to blow the shofar or the trumpet in Numbers chapter 10 and verse 9. Could you please turn there, Numbers chapter 10 and verse 9.

Just go there for a second. Numbers chapter 10 and verse 9. In verses 1 to 5, reason I want to blow the trumpet is because the gathering of the nation, the assembling together. Reason number two, to blow the shofar in verse 5, is warning because they are to march forward. They are to move forward. But if you go and read in verse 9, it gives us an additional reason to blow the shofar or to blow the trumpet. And it says in verse 9. If ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppress you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets, and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

Verse 10. Verse 10. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your month, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offering. And that the day may be to you for a memorial before your God. I am the Lord your God. So there were various blowing of the trumpets, but specifically in verses 1 to 10, three things. Gathering of the people, number one. Marching forward, number two. And a preparation for a war, number three. Now, God is telling the people of Israel in Joel chapter 2 and verse 1. "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion.

Sound an alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is nigh at hand." He is giving instruction to blow the shofar, to blow the trumpet, and to give a shout because the day of the Lord is at hand. And he is saying, beloved, I want you to see, it is not the beginning of the millennial age, but it is the beginning or somewhere in the start of the tribulation period. The day of the Lord. Every time you read in the prophets the day of the Lord, it has to do with the day of judgment and the day of tribulation period.

What kind of a day it is going to be? Again, he gives us a description. In verse 2, he tells us a description of the day of the Lord. He says, "It is a day of darkness. It is a day of gloominess. It is a day of clouds. It is a day of thick darkness. As the morning spread upon the mountains, a great people and strong there has not been ever the like. Neither shall there be any more after it, even to the years of many generations." You see, the Lord giving instruction for Israel to blow the shofar and he is saying, you know, there is a day coming, there is a time coming, there is a period coming where there will be darkness and gloominess and clouds and thick darkness.

That is the day of the Lord. Prepare yourself, he is saying to them, because it is going to come. And so in verses 2 to verse 9, he gives a description of who is going to come to invade the land. And this time, by the way, he gives us and he shows us who they are going to be. And I want you to just follow up with me. I am going to read all these verses up to verse 9, and I want you to kind of get a glimpse of those who are going to come to invade the land at that time. You will see that the description fit Revelation chapter 9.

And I am going to read Revelation 9 as well. Listen to this. Verse 2b. It says here, "A great people and a strong. There has not been ever the like. Neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devours before them and behind them. A flame burneth. The land is as the garden of Eden before them and behind them is a desolate wilderness, yea, and nothing shall escape them." Verse 4. What do they look like? He called them a people and a strong in verse 2. Look what they look like, these invaders. Verse 4. The appearance of them is the appearance of horses.

And as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariot on the top of the mountains shall they leap. Like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble. As a strong people set in battle array. Verse 6. Before their faces the people shall be much pained. All faces shall gather blackness. They shall run like mighty men. Or does he use this expression? They shall run like mighty men. They shall climb the wall like men of war. They shall march everyone on his ways. And they shall not break their ranks. Neither shall one thrust another. They shall walk every one in his path.

And they shall fall upon the sword. They shall not be wounded. Verse 9. They shall run to and fro in the city. They shall run upon the wall. They shall climb upon the houses. They shall enter in at the windows like a thief. I'll stop here for a moment. About three times, or actually four times, he used the word people or men. But the description that we get here from verses 2b to verse 9. It seemed to be a people. But in actuality, it is much more than merely a people. And I'm going to show you this in a moment from Revelation. You see, beloved, look what's going to happen.

And again, I want you to understand that is a position that I take in my teaching. When the last person in the church age will come in, it may be today. All believers in the Lord Jesus the Messiah in this present day are going to be ushered to the presence of the Lord to meet the Lord in the air. 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 13 to 18. The dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. The moment the church is gone out of here, God going to begin his direct dealing with the nation of Israel as a nation.

And Daniel chapter 9, the signing of the covenant with the many, will begin. In the clock of God's dealing with Israel, there are seven years that are still remain unaccounted for. God is going to begin to deal with the nation of Israel directly. And he is going to begin with them at the time of the tribulation. We are going to be taken out of here as believers in Messiah in this present day. God is going to begin his dealing with Israel in the beginning with the tribulation period. There will be judgment upon judgment upon judgment that will fall upon the nation and the nations of the world.

I want you to see one of the judgments that is going to fall in connection with Joel chapter 2. So please turn to Revelation quickly, chapter 9. And I am going to read this for you for your benefit so you can see. And you can decide for yourself what you view on this chapter. Look at this. Revelation chapter 9. By the time we get to Revelation chapter 9, there were already seven seals open. Seal number 1, number 2, number 3, number 4, number 5, number 6. Seal number 7 was opened. By the time we get to chapter 9, already the angels sounded the trumpet. Trumpet number 1, trumpet number 2, trumpet number 3, trumpet number 4. By the time that we get to chapter 9, we are in trumpet number 5.

We are in judgment number 13 or 14. Now, look what we read. Look what we read. Verse 1. And the fifth angel sounded. And I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth. And to him, notice, a star, in scripture, always has a reference to an angel. In the Old Testament as well, specifically to an angel. And a star, it says, fell down from heaven to the earth. And to him, it's not to it. To him was given the key of the bottomless pit. Verse 2. Verse 2. And he opened the bottomless pit. And there arose smoke out of the pit. And the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and the air were darkened by the reason of the smoke of the pit.

And they came out of the smoke locusts. You notice the appearance of locusts here. Upon the earth. And unto them was given power. As the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth. Neither any green thing. Neither any tree. But only those men which have not the seal of God in their forehead. Let's just pause here for a moment. It came to my mind when I was reading this chapter. That those particular demons that would come out of the bottomless pit. Were called not to hurt the men or the people that had the seal of God on their foreheads.

As far as scripture is concerned. The only ones that we find out that have the seal on their foreheads is chapter 7. And the 7th chapter give us 144,000 Hebrews that had seals upon their foreheads. We don't see anybody here beside those 144 at that particular time who were sealed. That's why it's another reason to understand that we don't see the church here. The ones that had been sealed were the 144,000 Hebrews. If we will see ourself as a church there. Then we never read in scripture about that. Because as far as the scripture teaches us. In Revelation chapter 7, 144,000 were sealed. Verse 5. And to them was given that they should not kill them.

But they should be tormented for five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he stricken a man. And in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it. And shall desire to die and death shall flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts. He is again mentioning the locusts. Listen to this. Now you would think he is speaking about insects. But notice it says the shape of the locusts were like horses. Joel chapter 2. Prepared for unto battle. And on their heads there were as it were crowns like gold. Again I want to remind you that he is speaking about more than merely insects here.

And their faces were the faces of men. He is speaking about demonic activity that is going to happen in the middle of the tribulation. I am continuing in verse 8. And they had hair as the hair of a woman. And their teeth were as the teeth of a lion. And they had breastplates as it were breastplates of iron. And the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. Again horses running to battle. Verse 10. And they had tails like unto scorpions. And there were stings in their tails. And their power was to hurt men for five months. And they had a king over them which is the angel of the bottomless pit.

Whose name is in Hebrew language Avadon. But in the Greek language his name was Apollyon. I am going to stop here for a moment. Beloved you see what is going to happen. In the middle of the tribulation. Sometime in the tribulation. As God's pouring his wrath upon this world. Seals will be open. One, two, three, four, five, seven. When the seventh seal is open. The angels will sound the trumpet. Every seal is a judgment. Every trumpet sound is a judgment. Trumpet sound number five will bring about demonic activity upon the face of this earth. Literal demonic activity as it says in verses 1 and 2. The bottomless pit will be open.

And God will allow demons to have activity upon the face of this earth. And they are going to go through the land. Through this earth. And they are going to devour this earth. Notice what it says in verse 13 quickly. Verse 13. The six angels sounded. And I heard the voice from the fourth horns of the golden hunter. Which is before God saying to the six angels. Which had the trumpet. Loose. The four angels. Which are bound in the great river of Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed. Which were prepared for an hour and a day and a month and a year. For to slay the third part of men.

You see. What is going to happen in the tribulation. The fifth angel will blow the trumpet. And they were not allowed to kill. But to wound men for five months. By the time the six angels blowing the shofar or the trumpet. Now one third of the human race will be destroyed. As it says here in verse 15. To slay. Verse 15 at the end. One third part of men. And the number of the army. Again. It's not a human army here. And I know often time people think about it. Maybe it's the army of India. Or the army of China. Because it says here. The number of the army.

Of the horsemen were. Two hundred thousand times thousand. Two hundred millions. And some people say. Maybe it is the Chinese. Maybe it is the people from India. But these individuals. Or these demons. Were led by four fallen angels. And their king. As it says here. In verse 11. Was none else. But Abaddon. Or Apollyon. Now. How do we tie this together? You cannot help it. But understand Revelation chapter 9. And Joel chapter 2. Speak about the same events. And time. Of the tribulation period. The time of the day of the Lord. The Lord. And thank God. Beloved brothers and sisters. That those. Who believe. In the Lord Jesus.

The Messiah. Will. Not. Be. At that time. Here on earth. The believers. Are going to be. Taken out of here. Prior. To the beginning. Of that tribulation period. Again. I want to say. And I'll emphasize. That if you feel otherwise. It's fine. With me. But in light. Of what. We understand. From scripture. The church. Here. To the beginning. Of the tribulation period. Now go back to Joel. And let's wrap it up here. In these verses quickly. And I'm going to close. With these verses. Just the things. That they are going to do. Those demons. In the tribulation period. Quickly. Verse 3. Of chapter 2. I'm going to.

Just go over that quickly. They will destroy. And devour. Everything. By fire. Verse 4. They will look like horses. Verse 5. They will make much noise. Verse 6. They will cause much fear. Verse 7. They will run. They will climb. They will march. Verse 8. They will move forward. In an orderly fashion. Verse 9. They will invade every place. Notice verse 9. Notice verse 9. It says. They shall run. To and fro. In the city. They shall run. Upon the wall. They shall climb. Upon the houses. And they shall enter. In. At the windows. Like a thief. And so. In verses 10 and 11. Here is. What. The effect. It is going to happen. Even upon the heavens.

And the earth. At this time. It says. In verse 10. The earth. Shall quake. Before them. The heavens. Shall tremble. The sun. And the moon. Shall be dark. And the stars. Shall withdraw. Their shinings. You tell me. When in the human history. That event. Have ever happened. You show me. From human history. Though many. Many. Many. Things. Have happened. Like the flood. Prior to the time. That Joel. Have spoken. Some event. Such as this. Joel chapter 1. From verse 15. To Joel chapter 2. And verse 11. And notice. What it says. In verse 10. The Lord. Is the one. That give. This instruction. To do. To allow this. In verse 11. It says.

And the Lord. Shall utter. His voice. Before. His army. His army. That God. Have permitted. To give. Destruction. Upon the face. Of this earth. They become. An instrument. In the hands. Of God. It says. His camp. Is very great. For he. Is strong. That executed. His word. For the day. Of the Lord. Is great. And very terrible. And who. Can abide it. You know. Beloved. Brothers and sisters. You see. Why it is important. To preach. The gospel today. I tell you why. Why. Because. Should the Lord. Jesus. Going to come. To take us. Today. Or tomorrow. Anytime. Or this afternoon. If the Lord. Going to come.

And the last individual. Accepted. The Messiah. And become part. Of the heavenly company. And the beginning. Of the tribulation. Start. Sometimes. When the signing. Of the covenant. Israel. And the antichrist. Will be done. The tribulation. Will begin. And you know what. I know. Some people say. I don't need. The Lord Jesus. Now. I can wait. A little bit longer. I don't envy. A person. That will have. To stay here. After the rapture. Of the church. I don't envy. Anybody. That will have. To face. Such a destruction. The fear. That is going. To come. Upon mankind. And you know what. It says. You remember. Men. Will look.

For death. And it will not. Come to them. They perhaps. Will take. All kind of pills. You're going to try. To kill themselves. I don't want to live anymore. And God. Will not. Allow them. To die. They perhaps. Will do. Anything. They want. Just to get away. From this. I don't know. I watched the television. When the tsunami. Came. And I watched. Some of the fear. On the faces. Of people. When the sea. Came. Into the land. And people. Were scared. And people. Were shivering. But it was. Too late. For many. And a quarter. Million. Died. We just. Experienced. This. Do. It will be. Nothing.

When God. Is going. To pour. His wrath. Upon this world. Or rejected. The Messiah. And let me tell you. The wrath of God. Would not come. Upon believers. In Jesus. The Messiah. You know. Why? Not because. We are good. Not because. We don't deserve that. We surely deserve it. Like anybody else. But we took. Our place. At the cross. The judgment. That we deserved. Already fell. Once. It will not fall. Upon us. Again. Jesus. The Messiah. Have paid. The price. For you. And I. And God. Forgiven. Our sins. And we can now. Rejoice. Because our sins. Are forgiven. We are going to be. With him.

In heaven. But it is a. Fearful. Thing. To fall into the hands. Of the living God. When the day. Of the Lord. Who is at hand. Will come. To pass. It will be an. Awful day. And it will be beloved. From God. God. Is going to be. The one. Who is going to. Unleash that. And allow this. To happen. When Israel. Disobeyed. God. God. Is the one. Who brought. Nebuchadnezzar. From Babylon. And he said to him. You come. And you judge. My people. Whom I love dearly. And you know. Israel. Have been in Babylon. For 70 years. Broken to pieces. Sitting. By the rivers. Of Babylon.

Weeping. Before God. And saying. By the rivers. Of Babylon. There we sat down. And we wept. As we remember. Zion. Israel. Were punished. By their own God. Because of disobedience. Do you think. The world. That reject God. Reject. The Messiah. Will not suffer. Because of rejection. Of the Messiah. It's surely going to come. To pass. As God. As God had said this. In this word. In his word. In his word. And so beloved. There is. For us. The responsibility. Is this. Is to give the message. Of the gospel. Clear. What shall wash away. My sin. Nothing. But the blood. Of Yeshua. Of Jesus. What shall make me whole again.

Nothing. But the blood. Of Jesus. The responsibility. That we have. Is to share. The message. Of the gospel. With people. Around us. And so. I'm going to stop beloved. With this. And next time. We are going to continue. From verse 12. On. And we're going to see. How God. Is calling. For repentance. And eventually. We're going to see. The third invasion. That is going to be. Human invasion. In the last part. Of the book. Of Joel.
